Hey guy!
When I connect my phone with the data network together with the use of the position, such as using maps, after a few seconds it starts to warm up, shut down and restart all the time, and I have to remove the battery otherwise it does the same infinity.
If the data network is off, everything works.
Any solutions?
Hi, I have the same problem using both Data Connection and Location but just when recharging battery with travel charger or when connecting to USB cable. I have to switch off Location to solve the issue and recharge the battery.
I hope this bug wil be solved in Mango RTM 7720.

Hi
Is anyone experiencing the following problem on T mobile UK or any other network? [t mobile touch plus]
Using your handset as a modem 'internet sharing' the handset will intermittently stop charging for 15 minutes, after using the connection ‘internet sharing for anything up to 30 minutes (connected to a desktop pc or laptop)
Secondly when the phone reaches 100% fully charged using the internet sharing, the handset stop charging and subsequently the phone switches to battery power and as a result you are working against the standby time, which when empty in let say just over an hour you will have to charge the phone again, before you can resume using internet sharing.
Radio version of handset is 1.58.21.24 it’s
The page results from surfing is fine on desktop and handset just the above problem and heating.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated
yes i get that isssue to on my niki on tmobile uk but its only just started doing it recently
try to soft reset it
All my devices, Qtek S100, Qtek S200, HTC Touch dual - they all stops charging in "Internet Sharing" mode.
internet sharing and charging..... the fix
does your handset stop charging then restarts after a little while using internet sharing, if so read below
a few things to check is to try internet connection on another laptop at the location where it is happening,if the fault is present then you have identified the fault is with the handset or network.
your next step is to try internet sharing at a different location from where you are experiencing the fault and see if the fault reoccurs, for me it wasn't until i decided to try internet sharing in another area that i discovered that the fault was network related, even though tmobile were adamant it wasn't (this fault is also related to cases where the handset gets very hot within a short of time whilst using hspda/gprs).
if the above test is carrried out and you identify that it's location based then speak to tmobile (but be persistant)
today my handset can sit idle or surfing for xyz and it is barely warm....
hopes it help
My Desire Z sometime could not connect to WIFI and mobile network after using USB (no matter charging the battery or sync data) untill I reboot the phone. Is this normal or not?
Does Airplane mode on/off fix it?
Hey
I've noticed a few people with this issue however they have been using different devices/computer setups therefore I wanted to see if anyone knew how to solve my issue.
I recently got a HTC 7 Trophy and love it, however I am dying to try out this wireless sync feature but it never seems to trigger and show up in zune as connected.
My Setup:
HTC 7 Trophy sitting on charge on one side of my room, connected to my wireless
Lenovo S10e Netbook running Windows 7 Ultimate with Microsoft Security Essentials AntiVirus
Netgear DGN2000 with WPA2-PSK encryption
when i wake my phone from sleep, the wireless is still connected but it has never shown up in zune. (yes I have setup wireless sync in zune and it successfully completed without errors)
what happened for me...
it specifies when setting up wireless sync that you need to have your phone connected to charger (not usb power from computer)for 10 minutes then wireless sync will start.
it took a good 25 minutes for me and then i noticed a driver being installed into windows 7. Zune then proceeded to being wirelessly syncing..
under device manager i've found
Portable Devices / LEO70 (its my hd2 running wp7)
under properties- device description - Value=Zune Wireless
hope this enlightens something
thanks! I'll leave my phone on charge for the whole day and check device manager every 30 minutes or so, now I just have to figure out why my phone isn't connecting to my home WiFi anymore
UPDATE: Still nothing, the phone has been on the network and charging all day without any drop outs and still not showing in zune, I have restarted my laptop once during the day because of windows updates but still nothing. I will try turning off windows firewall next to see if that is the problem.
UPDATE 2: It installed the driver, once, when I awoke the laptop from sleep with zune already running. I found another 'solution' that involves enabling some services from services.msc and turning off windows firewall with no success. really wish someone had the same problem as me :/

to be honest, i dont see the point... during wireless sync, it has to be powered via AC adapter - disconnect power, and wireless sync stops...(now what sort of 'wireless' is that)
I know some users have docking stations but still it comes down to ...
*sync via USB - fast sync slow charge.
*sync wireless - slow sync fast charge.
You cant roam in your wireless environment and sync...
Hi,
Not sure if anyone else has experienced this issue so here goes.
I regularly connect my Desire Z to my PC in Internet Pass-through to get data for updating apps and Navdroid map updates.
No problem connecting and the data throughput is great.
However, once I have disconnected the phone from the PC I have lost 3G/HSPD connectivity. The only way to get these back is to restart the phone.
I have tried turning on Airplane mode, and then turning it off - no success.
I also tried turning off data and then turning it back on - no success there either.
Is this a known issue or has anyone else come across it. Anyone found a solution if they have, bar restarting the phone that is.. ?
Thanks,
Des. . . ; )
Yeh this also happens to me, though only sometimes. Unfortunately, all I've been able to figure out in terms of fixing it is just restarting.
Data connection is not the only thing that glitches for me with internet pass through, sometimes the other types of USB connection stop working as well (e.g. the phone will not be seen by my windows machine when put into removable drive mode after being in internet pass through) until I restart. Essentially, even though internet pass through does not always cause problems I always restart after using it since it seems to be good at glitching other things out and probably messes up things I don't even notice at first.
This has happened to me several times...
What I noticed is that whenever I disconnect the phone while it is in Internet Pass-Through mode, I couldn't get my mobile data connection to work afterwards..
So before disconnecting, maybe you can try changing your USB connection mode, say, to Charge Only. When disconnecting from that mode, mobile data works.. at least in my experience..
Hi,
Might be worth a try, that. Czechton can you try and see what sort of results you get?
Thanks,
Des. . .
I will second that - this problem occured for me everytime I connected the phone in the "internet pass through mode" - I also noticed (although I did not keep track to check if this solves the problem EVERY time) that if I change to the "charge only"
mode and then disconnect - I get back my mobile data connectivity back

Hi,
After using LG G2 with official KitKat update for a couple of weeks without issues (except the headphones noise problem) last few days I noticed the battery was draining very fast ( from a couple of days usage to 10-12 hours usage). I did a factory reset and surprise : couldn't connect to Wifi after reset (I get continuous Wifi ON/OFF and if I select a Wifi network I don't have time enough time to enter the password until Wifi disconnects again ) . After a few tries without any luck connecting to my Wifi router I enabled Bluetooth on mobile and the Wifi connection started to work perfectly. The problem is the phone is discharging very fast (even after factory reset) and gets very hot.
What should I do ?
Regards,
Mike
