Hi everybody,i'm using cingular 8125 and i have a problem.I installed new windows and the phone discharged.I charged it directly with oder charger because with normal charger or true pc it's not charging.Now when i turn on the phone i see htc logo and nothing else.I even don't see the ipl/spl/gsm/os info.Just htc logo and nothing more.
I tried to enter bootloader mode,but it don't connect to pc.
Please help if you can

What other charger you've used? Was it compatible?

I flashed CR96 Touch HD™ v6.5.0.3.3 RC5 rom.
I charged battery directly with wires from other battery.
I can turn on the phone,but he won't boot.It's just that htc logo from CR96 rom.
I used CR96 rom's for long time,but this is first time when i have this problem.
Man, I can't figure what went wrong with you...
Have you used SoftSPL or HardSPL? Don't worry, I'm just asking
And which system are you on? I've heard that Vista and 7 aren't that good for flashing...
If nothing helps you, search for topics about "Wizard Love ROM". Maybe that can help you.

well i tried to hard reset my device when turning on,it's said that it completed,but it doesn't change anything.Well i use windows 7,but for flashing i use windows xp mode.
and yes i used softspl and hardspl
by the way,i can't flash anything,because when i turn on bootloader mode,it doesn't connect the device to the pc.I don't know what to do..

All started with trying to upgrade(rewrite) the GSM part because the Hermes had problems with phone part - when trying to call - the phone stop responding, bus the pda part sill worked.
So - I tried and tried and tried again, reading many threads about HARD SPL,Flashing radio, etc. Nothing worked..
In the end "i managed" to kill GSM - phone had "No Gsm" on boot-up.
From there i tried to downgrade SPL to 1.04 so that i try to "raw" rewrite the GSM part.
But something went terribly wrong, and while downgrading SPL, the phone suddently shutdown and never opened again.
Now i have the folowing situation: NO BOOTLOADER, no usb conectivity, nothing
This means that i cannot connect via USB whatever i try.
Is there any hope for me? or is it TOTALLY BRICKED?
Any help is apreciated!! I can even dismantle the mobile if there is any way to flash it via some kind of jtag connection...anything ...
The folks at www.imei-check.com can do the JTAG flashing. Just email them. It would be costly for you to do it yourself...
Are you saying that the phone won't turn on at all or that it does but you can't get a bootloader screen?
Have you tried taking the battery out for a while? Have you tried flashing an OEM rom and radio compatible with your device off an SD card?
All of this info is in the wiki, as are OEM roms you can flash.
Let us know how you get on.

Try this:
1.) Remove battery
2.) Connect Hermes to charger or USB
3.) Insert the battery while Hermes is connected to charger
4.) Red light should turn Amber
5.) Soft Reset
@wacky.banana: The phone is totaly dead: no bootloader, doesn't boot at all, doesn't seem to have any USB conectivity at all. Flashing from micro sd doesn't work : probably because the bootloader isn't working.

@markafreeman: I tried, but when i put the battery in, the red light goes off, not to amber . no soft or hard reset helps. not even leaving the battery out for 2 weeks - i had tried that too . thanks anyway.
Anything else I can try? - phone totaly dead, no bootloder, no usb conectivity - cannot use mtty, cannot flash from microsd
I had to get a replacement device at that point when it happened to me.
Maybe someone else know a way to get it working.

so you managed to hard reset it
and it crashed an ****ed up
they'll replace it
well they will send it to HTC
who just replace the handset rather than repair it

I ve bought recenty an spv m3100, im effortless trying to flash the rom to an wm6 version.
Like you ive started with the hardsppl flash thing to prevent bricking it and prior to sd flashing... and im not sure if its workin...

Could anyone can help me to solve No GSM poblem. I think there are many other users have same problem.
After it faild during update rom, My HP6915 represent NO GSM during booting and the phone funcation also doesn't work. But in HP Asset you can see it, just no firmware, no version number. I try to flash english radio rom and french radio rom, but always stop at 1%. This matter appeared after I flashed orange rom(french version). I think it locked by Orange.
Does any one can help us?

to be on the safe side i will go over general insraction
battery full
recomended xp os & activesync 4.5 (not beta)
minsd & sim out
ac addapter connected (ac power from orig transformer)
hart reset your device before the update
connect device directly to computer's usb plug
run the update
try radio only &/or the all update you can also try on a different pc
if all didn't work read this and see if you can find somthing that works on the 6900

I tried but still same, stop at 1% when I flash Radio WAN OS, stop at 2% when I flash Radio FS. I tried to unlock simlock and CID unlock, but it doesn't work on my 6965
called a few places looks like the radio chip is fried. sorry man...not looking good.

I got almost same problem. I tried to update GSM rom but update fail and my ipaq stuck at hp invent logo. try following steps to see if it works for you
Solution:
this is what I did to get this fixed.
1) Get the battery out of the iPaq, and wait for a few minutes while the "serial" image fades away slowly.
2) In the meantime, prepare your cradle, plugged into the AC charger and plugged via USB to your PC.
3) After a few minutes, with the screen of the iPaq completely gray, put the battery and battery cap back on (with our without SIM card), and put it on the cradle immediately.
4) The iPaq should start coming back to life, as if it were being hard reset. Let is stay on the welcome screen (i.e., do not tap it or anything).
5) Restart the upgrade process, it should proceed from there OK

actualy. I met the same problem "No GSM" after wrong update. I thing I tried everything, but I Didn't try to flash the device via mini-sd card. I don't know the right address for GSM area. Did anyone know?

I am in real trouble. while trying to unlock i hard-resetted it, but now the phone is got stuck in tri-colour mode, I don't know what to do. Basically now it went like funny. it would not turn on, while u put it on to charge it will show the tri-colour and also if i leave it on charge it is getting hot. Do u guys recon any chip to be hitted?

Not actually, basically one of my friend tried to unlock it in first place. I don't really know what he did with that. but the phone is totally dead now. If anyone can help me that will be highly appreciated because this phone is not mine, this is customer's.
If he tried to put rom on it what consequence would happen and is there any way to get out of there?

It's me again. I think on this the software is missing. Because if i connect it to the computer it brings on the tri-colour and shows usb connection. So, the software i think missing. If anyone can give me a link how to put the software in there i will appreciate that. But still i am not pretty sure why it is getting hot while charge and why it is not turning on even it charged.

still no solution
No success mate. I have downloaded the mtty. and it says usb port cannot open. but if i go to com3 it allows me to write something over there. i write boot on it but nothing happening , and actually i don't know what would happen?

Hello, I've a problem with my HTC P3600 (win Mobile 6.1), it doesn't start (also using hard reset); i've tryed to buy a new battery but the results are the same. you need to put the device in boot loader mode and attempt a reflash. i had the same issue and a reflash helped me.
Did you flash a new rom or something onto your phone after which this problem surfaced? If that was the case, try flashing another rom or better yet, check with the person that cooked the rom. You can PM them or something. How did this problem start and since when have you had it?
hi, i just recently flashed my rom using a reliable source but now my device wont turn on. everytime i push the power button, it shows the htc screen but then shuts off. it dosent get to the windows mobile screen. any ideas on how to unbrick it?
The fact that it will turn on means it is not bricked, a truly bricked pbond will not turn on. While the phone is off hold the camera and the power button down until you see the bootloader come up and connect your phone to your computer via USB cable and wait until you see USB on the screen then flash the rom, if you have HSPL already on your phone you can flash a custom ROM. But make sure it is copatible with hour phone.

Hi i didwhaat you said and used rom update utility.exe to upgrade and flash the rom but im in the samespot as i was before. i have charged the phone. my SPL is 1.11.0000 and IPL is 2.21.0002.
and ideas? my phone still wontt go past the htc screen
