My S10+ has not been receiving notifications every time after long hours of locking it and not using it.
Example:
I lock my phone before i go to bed, when i wake up and unlock my phone, i am flooded by all the notifications all AT ONCE. Which means i did not receive them while i was sleeping. These notifications includes anything, my games, Facebook call, Whatsapp messages, Facebook messages.
I also did a test and asked my wife to call me using Facebook to wake me up in the morning, but my phone did not ring nor did i get any spam messages from her on Facebook or Whatsapp. However, normal calls do work and my phone rang. As usual, after i pick up her normal call and unlocked my phone, all the notifications starts to flood in. The test is done on both WIFI and 4G.
Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone manage to fix this?
FYI: I have disabled Adaptive battery and any power saving options.
Do you have any bixby routines running? If so, double check they aren't shutting stuff off to save power at night or anything.
i have the same issue
I've had similar issues but these are notifications coming through 10 mins after they do on my iPhone
You tried a factory reset?

Did a factory reset already no difference.
can you check if you have any power saving apps?
can you check if the apps have been put to sleep?
can you check if you are disconnected from wifi or data during idle or sleep time?

same here
Settings > search for 'Optimise battery usage'. > in the drop down select 'All' to list all apps.
Make sure for all the apps you are getting delayed notifications the switch is turned off.

No power saving apps.
Did not put any apps to sleep.
Not sure how to check disconnection of wifi or data during idle without unlocking the phone

It's already off. Facebook, Facebook messenger and Whatsapp are all turned off under there.
I know the rest are on by default, but i don't think i need to turn those off since they are not important.

Does anyone know if using the Green Power app will conflict with settings in the default battery manager?
ie i have green power set to turn wireless off for 30min and then on for 2min.
but i also have my custom battery saver mode to completely turn data off during off-peak hours after 15min of inactivity.
I would like for Green Power to work under my battery saver mode. aka i want battery saver mode to take precedence.
thanks.

Its like making two bosses settle for one more one less. Might create conflicts. I use 'super power' to turn off wifi. But then don't use internal battery settings.
yea i think im just going to mess around with both individually and see which one gives me better battery life.

Green Power doesn't work that well on mine; wifi & data are toggled randomly, wifi stays on when screen is off, etc.
I was just mailing with the dev of Green app; he doesn't know either why it happens; ""Low level things like Mobile Data (and Wifi) are quite device specific. Which makes life harder for Android developers than iPhone developers..."".
Waiting for further response, will post here if anything changes..
whenever Green Power turns off my mobile data, it will stay off forever until i reboot. i can get calls and sms, but data will not work. turning off green power and cycling airplane mode doesn't work either.

Considering the Atrix has a built in Battery Manager maybe if you set the built in one to the Max Performance where there is no restrictions then use a 3rd party battery manager?
It just seems there will be some conflicts.

Are any of you that are having this problem using widget locker? I was using widget locker on mine and GP couldn't recognize when the phone was unlocked... something to consider... I don't use it now (running Gingerblur) and GP works like a CHARM. One of the best apps on my phone

I use the internal battery manager only for the screen dimming when it hits a certain percent. Green Power does all the rest and I get killer battery life. I suggest you all do the same. Ditch the 3rd party launcher and set up Green Power with the settings listed in the battery thread.

Running any weird power control widgets? I'm using the stock android power control for all of that nonsense and it works perfect. Maybe some widgetsoid/third party something isn't registering?
It's a shame, and I hope it starts working for you bc it really is a great thing.
Right now I'm at 1d 1h 32m 18s since unplugged.
Ive had similar issues with green power on my N1 running CM7RC2.
I have noticed the issue seems to be linked to the Day and night mode Toggle if screen ON/Toggle if screen unlocked options
If these options are turned on then app may work for a while and then after some time data will just stay on and never turn off
If these options are off service will work for requested On/Off durations but wont turn data back on when screen is on or unlocked even if manually selecting to enable it.
I tried with this tasker rule set also but didn't seem to work

My S5 battery is worse than s4 and G2. Could it be my Gear 2 watch that's the problem? GSAM tells me Android system is at 30%. I also have S Health pedometer running because I can't seem to find a way to turn it off.
Any suggestions?

You can turn off the S Health pedometer by opening the S Health app on your phone, select the pedometer, and hit pause. That will stop it from running.

When I hit turn off, it prompts me to Uninstall the app. It does that and now I have turn on as an option. Will the phone automatically reinstall the app? There's a buck I'd like to turn off, but makes no sense if it'll just install again.
Look at the things that's been running for 140hrs. There are more than this. Any of your phones have this happening?

when you turn off or disable an app, you are prompted to uninstall any updates that were downloaded. once you turn the app back on, if ever, then it will have to reinstall the updates as well.

awesome glad you got it fixed
Hi guys, I recently got a Samsung S6 Edge+ which is running Marshmallow 6.0.1 Un-rooted.
What the problem seems to be is that even if I am not using my phone ,whether that me day or night, the battery will always deplete. I decided to run a test at night where I had Greenify (un-rooted mode): hibernate all apps; aggressive doze=on; automated hibernation=on; alternate screen off mode=on;Don't remove notifications(limited)=on. I also had wifi off, location off, airplane mode on, power saving mode enabled, bluetooth off, mobile data off, nfc off and sync off. Only notification apps that were running where lastpass fill helper, finger security and pixoff battery saver.
So I charged my phone up to 100% last night and left it on sleep at 11:06PM. I woke up at 8:58PM only to see my battery had depleted to 63%. This gives an overall depletion rate of 3.75%/hour [(100-63)/(9.86666 hours)]. I don't know what the problem is as my mum's samsung s7 edge only loses 1% overnight and the phone has wifi, sync, cell, all on.
I can't send my battery usage details because of the XDA spam message thing but the battery usage only says Device Idle 100%

Even after the april update whatsapp is draining a lot of battery - other than that everything is fine. I'm getting a 8% drain after 1h and 50min of usage. I've seen other S10+, with Exynos, draining the same 8% but over a period of 5h of usage. Anybody else experiencing this issue? I've tried to put the app to sleep, tried to uncheck the "allow background data" option, cleared data and cache but with no luck.
The drainage for you is it happening on LTE or wifi?

Both, I think. It happens when I'm on wifi and when I'm out using 4G - but I honestly didn't do a wifi or LTE-only test, but will do it today.
Look at this. I'm sure this isn't normal.
definitely not normal. try reset app data or cache
Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
I have the Exynos version and I never had draining problems with WhatsApp.
Ok, I did reset the app data and cache. I'll only use wifi this afternoon. Tonight I'll try LTE-only.
Cleared cache and data but nothing changed
can you install nice catch from good lock and monitor everything
Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
Yeah, will do it now. I'll be back soon.
Ok, so I've been using nice catch for over 2 hours and nothing strange showed up. Only toast and screen wakeup have recorded statistics - removing my charger and pressing button woke up my phone, and browsing/whatsapp added statistics to toast history - I've deleted a few messages, changed wallpaper on whatsapp and opened a few links in my browser.
Will update tomorrow but looks like there's nothing wrong here.
So, yes. My phone did not wake up - only when I pressed the turn on/off button to check the clock a few times throughout the night.

This is my today's screenshot:
1hr 38mins usage and 14% doesn’t seem like something weird.
Did you find a fix?

What you can tell about this though? Draining 1% each 5min or less..
As the title states, it keeps resetting to the lowest setting after a few moments.... It wasn't doing this before. Anyone else have this issue but with a fix?
Have you changed power settings to something different lately, mine did that when i switched on adaptive power mode, it kept switching from medium to optimised, then once i plug in the power charger and turned the screen off it reset to minimum time out.
