Excuse me, does pro3 support Project Treble? - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

No, it doesn't. And there is no plan (by the moment) to support it.

They do not sell or share the code unless you buy their hardware!
I am working with HTC ( the OEM maker for Wallaby) to get a device with Linux in it or at least the ROM with the US RIL( radio stack layers) for US.
I have seen a device with it running and it is Great!
NTT DOCOMO is making a call to open source OS in all their devices! So there will be some interesting developments in this area!
Isn't it made for 3G (CMDA) SmartPhones?
-arebelspy
So there is no way to kill my ppc-windows and install this minix-linux on my mda-II?
;-(((
AleX
(I don´t like this buggy windows)
WOW, the screen shots sure looks good! 8)
ahh, salvation from MS?
I e-mailed those MIZI guys... they probably don't have anything for us now, but notice, they sell some version of the OS for ipaq's on handango. So, obviously they do market their software.
If they get enough inquiries, they may be persuaded to implement something for us poor lost souls?
Ask them!!!! It's like voting, together we can affect them, most likely.

Hi... just a matter of interest, what do you mean by you're "working with HTC to get a device with Linux in it?"
As a few people including me are working on porting Linux onto the XDA, is there anything that might help us?
emailing and maybe calling is the best thing you can do.
Technically, this is a club. I ran a car club for 2 years (www.2gstratus.org if anyone is wondering, i created it, then sold it)
in our situations, we werent looking for operating system, gps or what ever, but we were looking for big ticket items (super chargers, body kits, etc...)
members emailed, called, what ever, and eventually, companys that normally would over look us, eventually began to develope $3000+ products for us
the more interest, the better ur chances.
there is a linux distrobution out there. friendlylinux.com i think
its form ARM. more specifically, the ipaqs
i had tried to install a version of it on my viewsonic v35, but it didnt work, the bootblaster kept crashing on me.
thats all i know
-Mario
It is really a shame for us to PAID for a LINUX disturubtion.......
Linux should be free, right?
Linux - Familiar
There is familiar. XDA II & HP22XX long way off. Could be sooner, but NDA=$$$$

MIZI / Linux Response
Here's what the Mizi guy had to say (somebody more technical than me please convince him that it's a great idea to make this thing work on the XDA):

Hello Rene,
My product doesn't currently support T-mobile with following reasons;
- To support a certain target, it requires lots of engineerings as for a
commercial level.
- To support a certain target, it requres detailed HW information.
I love to support Tmobile however the chance isn't come yet

Petition to Opera (for pinch-to-zoom at next beta)

Hey guys
At first, yes i know that the hd2 is currently the only windows mobile device which supports multitouch.
But if Opera notes that the community really wants to have "pinch-to-zoom", they would eventually accelerate this feature for the next beta.
Unfortunately I have no idea how to do it. But I've often seen those online petitions and I think this might be a good idea.
Were someone to agree to start an online petition?
(My English is not good enough to write the text itself.)
I assume they'd need to code a specific version for all such enabled WM/WP devices, since not all can do what the HD2 can. I doubt that they would do so, because the 9.7 OEM version was paid for by HTC. The downloadable one is not, thus, there is no incentive for them to do so. Maybe I am wrong.
Create a thread on their forum:

Hey, if we all chip in 50p, maybe we could fund it for the first five percentage zooms!

[Q] HD Voice support?

Out of interest does anyone know if the Nexus 4 will support HD voice? Is it a feature that requires baseband support or is it implemented in the system software?

Good question. I've currently got it on my Samsung Galaxy S3.
For it to work, you need all of the following:
- A handset that supports it (hardware-wise)
- A network that supports it (such as 3 Mobile in the UK)
- Software that supports it (The official 3 Mobile Samsung ROMs for the S3 support it, and CM10 supports it for the S3, but I don't know whether this was added in or part of Android 4.1.X natively)
- The call needs to be between two devices that meet all of the above.
HD voice is very impressive, though. It's like having the person stood next to you talking in your ear (which may or may not be a good thing, depending who you're talking to!).
I hope the Nexus 4 has it, it might possibly even be a deal-breaker for me if it doesn't.
Well, the baseband is a Qualcomm MDM9615 which should definitely support AMR-WB (the codec needed for HD Voice) so that's one part of the puzzle solved. Three definitely support it on their network, so the only question now is whether the phone's software supports it.
ja i have also tried to google that info... guess we have to ask the real google ^^ or LG?
really hope tht it will support HD Voice

Looks like the Optimus G also has it..?
So hardwarewise we are safe to go? CM 10 also does support it if i am not mistaken? would be strange if Android would not?
Also tried to contact LG but that did not help much. ( They at least assured me it is voice enabled and has got google now *facepalm*)

Forgive me if I am wrong, but isn't it the DSP that needs to support it? The QDSP6 does appear to support AMR-WB anyway, I just didn't think the baseband had anything to do with it, have I misunderstood?

The DSP responsible for implementing the codec is integrated within the MDM baseband chip, and from what I've gleaned the baseband does support it.
Still nothing on that?
Neither google nor LG replied..
Well I've got my Nexus 4 now, so I rang my wife on her Samsung Galaxy S III (we're both on the 3 network in the UK) and the call was in HD.
So the Nexus 4 does support HD voice!
I just posted a reply to another thread that I'm getting HD voice on my N4 as well.

T-Mobile HD Voice
I can't wait to see if it works on the Nexus 4 over T-Mobile in the US. They recently announced support but neglected to list the Nexus 4 on their supported devices, even though they sell the device in stores.

Let's hope they have a firmware update for the upcoming LTE network too.

Please how can you check whether the call is in HD?

It sounds like you're stood next to the person rather than being on the phone.
Technically, I don't know how you'd check in-call, there's no indication or notification or anything like that.

Ulefone uWear Smartwatch - adding unsupported languages?

Hey guys!
was wondering, the watch supports around 10 languages, sadly, hebrew isn't one of them.
Would it be possible to ADD a supported language (should just be a simple unicode/font thing, right?) or is it something only the company that makes the product can accomplish?
thank you!

No. It is based on an Mediatek chipset. And Mediatek doesn't release their sources. Without the sources you can't do anything.

MazeMobile domain for sale !

Not sure the exact relevance of this news but having spoken to a aliexpress seller who does glass backs for the 4GB Aplha, who told me they no longer make or sell parts. I then went to the main website to contact them and see the domain is for sale.
Anyone heard anything ?

I doubt that information earlier on that it has went bankrupt, although, there hasn't been any feedback and post on social media by the manufacturer.
Let's keep our fingers crossed now that you have given one positive indication of receiving OTA from them recently. I really want the company to stay alive and produce more Maze Alpha models.
It seems that InnJoo has taken over the sale of the Maze Alpha and rebranded it to InnJoo Maze:

Wow! I hope InnJoo Will keep it the way it is and improve on it. Maze Alpha has really set the pace for budget phone with some good hardware and it should remain like that. Another thing, if InnJoo must keep Maze Alpha it must regularly update the software for us or give us a custom ROM.
There is not Maze Alpha X on the list. Why is that?

One can only speculate. Might be an inventory thing. Maybe Maze needs InnJoo to take the remaining stock off its hands, before selling(?) its factory - if we assume the company is bankrupt. No official information has been put forward, which means negotiations are probably taken place atm.
For custom roms to ever be possible, we need the kernel sources. I asked Maze last year, when I placed my presell order for the Alpha. No conclusive answer was given. I think Team M.A.D. approached Maze and tried to obtain the kernel sources and work on the phone, but was unsuccessful, unfortunately. A quick Google search reveals that InnJoo not really upload kernel sources - I might be wrong - which means we're likely to be stuck with the current firmware/future official updates.
FYI I emailed INNJOO 3-4 days ago, about this and got no reply.
Hi,there is any news about?
