First boot sequence changed to chinese - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

Maybe a silly question but I want to understand ans solve if possible:
After testing some Lineage-roms and also flashing back to stock and again to lineage, my first boot animation (before seeing the lineage boot animation) is now in chinese. I remember it was in english before ( "Share the ECO World... I'm not a phone but...") but for some reason it is now completely in chinese.
There is no problem with this for using my phone as this sequence is only a few seconds after a reboot, but I want to know which part of my TWRP backup is responsible for this and how to change back to english?

Its just you boot animation. Search the Leeco pro 3 forums for Boot animations, you can make it anything you want. There are also utilities available that help you create your own splash screen and boot animations, you can also give TWRP a theme if wanted. You can also manually add, the splash screens and boot animations.
To go on, plenty of pre-existing zip files exist to make it say Google or Leeco but in English. In fact, I just remembered that I posted one of these here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75021582
At the bottom where it says just for fun.

Thank you tsongming for your help. Now I now that the start-up screen is called splash screen/boot. I searched for this and found the answer
For some reason I don't get notification anymore, so I missed your answer.

[Q] Help please... Very large problem with boot

Hello XDA...
This is my first post, but I have come across a problem with my relativly new Vodafone HTC Legend. I had Cyanogen android 2.2 running on my device, and I used ROM manager to upgrade to the Cyanogen Mod's nightly builds. I created a backup during the ROM instillation, and received a warning saying there may not be enough space on my SD card to back up the existing ROM, but i continued with the backup. It then displayed backup successful. After a few days of use of the newest Cyanogen mod's Nightly build i decided to revert to my old OS using ROM managers restore from backup function. ever since my mobile will now longer load any further than the HTC logo.
What I have tried so far:
-Holding the back key while pressing the power button... and the result:
something called boot loader, which displayed a menu of 4 items... BOOTLOADER, REBOOT, REBOOT BOOTLOADER & POWER DOWN. After selecting bootloader the next menu freezes while and then displays green writing mentioning something about no image, but removes itself from the screen to fast to be read. The new menu is composed of... FASTBOOT, RECOVERY, CLEAR STORAGE & SIMLOCK. Following instinct I pressed recovery, the HTC symbol is then displayed again, and then a black screen with the image of a phone similar to the HTC hero, with a red triangle and a exclamation mark.
Any help you can provide would be exceptional. Sorry for my lack of knowledge.
Many thanks
Stephen Gray
Hi Stephen,
If you are stuck like this, the best thing to do is a FakeFlash. It launches ClockWork Recovery - then use nandroid to restore again.
If that fails, there is still a way to recover I think.
If you install the ROM you were using before and the data.img file is OK, you can install the ROM as if installing new ROM, then in nandroid choose Advanced recovery and recover "data"...That should recover your system to it's previous state... of course if your data.img is corrupted, you'll have to set everything up...
Thankyou
All I can say is... i owe you my life... I even have all my pictures still! Brilliant!
Great! Just click thanks that's all I need

[Q] How to change the Boot Splash?

I am currently running the CM7 nightlies off the eMMC on my Nook Color.
When the device is powered on or rebooted, when loading from the eMMC it displays three things before getting to the boot animation:
1) "Touch the Future of Reading" in portrait.
2) A quick, corrupted-looking "Loading" in portrait.
3) The word "ANDROID" with a blinking cursor behind it in landscape.
After those three items display, then it shows the boot animation (in portrait).
If I boot from SD card, none of those three boot splashes show. So I'm guessing the three boot splashes are stored internally. Maybe even in the magic /boot partition we aren't supposed to touch.
Can we change the boot splashes? If anything, I'd rather have a blank/black screen displayed instead of the three ugly splashes there are now.
Having one screen would be nice also. Something maybe that just has an Android log in portrait before the CyanogenMod animation starts.
I'm booting CM7 off uSD and I'm seeing those 3 screens. I installed multiboot so now I don't see "the future....." but a boot menu, but I still see the other two.
So, at least from reading about the Gtab, I assume NC has a somewhat similar way of doing things...
The first screen is its own partition, so you would need to figure out where that is, find the image on it, then replace it.
The second is (I think?) the command to load either recovery or boot to the rom.
The third is the kernel starting up (again, I think?). Dal probably put that there so people know what is going on, but I bet it could be removed and replaced by nothing pretty easy.
It looks like with CyanogenMod 7.1, it goes from the "Touch the Future of Reading" screen straight to the boot animation.
I tested a 4/30 build of 7.1.0 and it just flashed the screen instead of showing the "Loading" and "ANDROID." text.
So, we're almost there.
Where's 7.1?

I'm not interested in changing the boot animation. I want to change the static boot splash on power on.
It use to say "Touch the Future of Reading", and with the Nook 1.2 software, it says "Read Forever" or something.
The static splash may be in /boot
I'd love to get rid of those three as well...
On a sidenote, does anyone else have a REALLY long delay on the "Touch the future" screen whenever they boot up the first time after charging? Mine sits there for at least 2-3 minutes before moving on to the Loading and Android_ screens.

LG E617G - Boot Screen is stuck in a loop

Alright, so I've got an LG E617G from Bell Aliant, a mobile carrier in Canada. I know it's rooted and it's the most up-to-date OS I could possibly get for this phone, stock, but I can't check the OS at the moment, or at least in a way I know of. I went to reset the phone to factory default settings and it gets stuck in this boot loop. I shut down, boot it back up. Now the boot screen sound doesn't finish properly and it just is stuck in a loop.
I tried to do a hard reset/forced recovery mode thing (Volume Down + Power then go to holding Home only when the LED on the bottom of the screen light up) and that didn't work. Same broken sound and stuck loop. Thinking that the charge might have something to do with it (It was at about 7% when I tried to do the initial reset. Stupid, I know, but I was drunk).
I just tried to do the same hard reset/forced recovery mode thing and that didn't work, same boot screen problem. I searched on the forums here as well as online and the only information that I've gotten is that the L5 is the closest well known representation of the LG E617g so I'm hoping you guys can help.
It should also be known, I did give ES File Explorer root access the day prior to the reset in an attempt to change the actual font. That didn't work so I tried 2 different applications that I found information on. iFont and Font Installer. I tried something with Font Installer and it didn't work so I installed iFont (without uninstalling Font Installer) and installed a font there. That didn't seem to work so I just ignored it. Then I noticed that the font had changed but only on Facebook apps. This was why I wanted to do the reset, to get rid of this font nonsense. Now I think I may have just ****ed it all up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ask what you need of me, if you do need anything, and tell me a quick way of possibly finding that information or linking to a tutorial how and I will get back to you ASAP. Thank you for the patience and help guys.

I have since solved the problem. I downloaded and installed all drivers again, ran the LG Mobile Support Tool and on the top menu bar I went Customer Support > Recovery and put my IMEI in and hit check. Got my info and another pop up came up. Downloaded the data for my phone (I had to run it in Download mode. I took out battery, held up and down volume while plugging it in the PC, run this recovery mode. I'd fail the recovery mode but then I'd just run the program part again on the computer while keeping it in plugged in.) and installed it. Worked fine after that.
Thanks a lot for this detailed solution!

Ah, no problem. I spend most of my time looking at forums that talk about my exact problem but never a solution. Just wanted to make sure that if anyone ends up with my problem that my fix worked.

Need help to resolve bricked tablet

So per the Lenovo forums and this thread
https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Androi...-x50f-dec-2016-update-fail/m-p/3530569#M14960
I flashed the firmware suggested in that thread. It was from a Russian site and I was hesitant. and I did it anyhow.
Now I have a brick.
If I can get the tablet in perfect lighting I can kind of sorta make out the boot logo. If I try to boot into recovery I can't see anything. I think the only reason I can see the boot logo in some lighting is that its light colored. I can't even tell if I can boot it into recovery.
I even tried to let it boot normally by itself. I got to a bunch of start up screens and they were all in russian. I could kind of fudge my way though touching where I could make out the outline of buttons (next, continue etc - even if I couldn't read them). Alas I bet it got to set up wifi and of course I can't see enough to set that up. I was hoping to get to setting to somehow fix the resolution.
Anyone have any suggestions? I know if I can get it into recovery I can either reset to factory, or flash again.
I've had soft bricks before. So I know if I can just get to that recovery menu I'll be okay. I just have to get there.

Changing Splash Screen

Hello everyone, I have managed to change the boot animation (for me on a CAZ-AL10 was under /system/hwoem/AL10/media, or something like that), but the Huawei splash screen still is their before the animation. I would prefer to just have google (or anything) rather than huawei on the splash screen. There are threads for other devices that mention the splash screen is in the oeminfo partition (partition 17 for me) and some tools to extract/replace it, but without a backup of oeminfo partition (or I mean a way to replace it, because the dd command does not work for me in TWRP) I am a bit hesitant to risk trying these tools.
So, my question is, has anyone tried to change splash screen, or any ideas about how to do it? Also. it would be nice to get rid of the annoying boot image telling me the phone is unlocked and all of that info. Wont that be useful to anyone who steals an unlocked phone, they tell you right there it is open.
Edit to be more specific about boot animation location. For me it is /system/hw_oem/media
