Hello guys , my phone is getting freezed after some time of using (45 min) , the Tech's said that this is overheating of the motherboard
So any idea from where can i get new one?
Thanks in advance...
Sent from my HD2
You can find them usually on Ebay and Amazon. I would use what ever search provider (Google, Bing, Yahoo etc..) to do a search for "HTC HD2 motherboard". Pick out a site that has good site reviews if possible as well as good prices. A quick search yeilded dozens of sites that sold HD2 motherboards.
can somebody help me for my HD2?
two days befor it fall and after that my HD2 working with very low speed.

Are you saying you dropped the phone and now since its been dropped you have very slow load times?
Is you phone rooted with a custom sense rom?
Do you still have a warranty on the phone?
no the rom version is official and my phone warranty expired
So you noticed it after you dropped it?
Have you tried to turn off your phone and turn it back on? I know that seems kind of stupid but it does fix some small problems from time to time.
Sorry to say but there wouldn't be much you could do for it that i know of. The very best advice i could give you would be to open your own thread about your problem and put this infomation in there. This thread is about motherboards so you wont get as much help as of you opened your own. This way a lot more people will see this and with the more people that see's it maybe someone comes across it and has had that problem before and can offer a solution if one.
Thanks for your advice.
i will open a new topic.

I'm not so sure. I can't find any myself, but it maybe a firewall problem or something. What I find is typically they are "Motherboard Flex Cable Ribbon". Can't find "motherboard" only. I've contacted some sites, but they say no motherboard/main board at all.
If you have come up with a "motherboard" only (at a reasonable price), please provide link. That would be very helpful as I'm after one as well.
You can find a HD2 from Amazon or Ebay that has a cracked screen or something along those lines thats still working and get the motherboard off that phone. when i did a search earlier i seen two sites but i'm unable to find them now. one site you had to be signed in so you might need an account but i'll try and find the other and report back.
Guys please provide me a link if you find a motherboard , i found one on
Gadgetsaving & Ebay
but i am afraid that when i get them i get another problem with them so please any advice ?
Thanks in advance...
$120 seems pretty high. As i said above, you can find a used model off ebay thats still working for the same price. Then you would have more parts you can use off that phone.
You really need to know what your doing during the install process though so if you dont, send it out to someone that does. I seen a phone with a cracked screen but that was
100% working order sell on ebay for $55 just yesterday. Plus if you have problems with the motherboard/phone you do buy off ebay you can always ask to return it. If they
wont accept a return you can then file a claim through ebay stating the phone/motherboard wasn't as described to have ebay force the seller to refund you the money once
you return it. In some cases you can even get a return shipping label emailed to you so you wont be charged the shipping back to the seller.

Is anyone being a problem with the home button? Mine has to be pressed dead central for it to register. I can fully press it at the extreme right or left and nothing happens.
Have I got a faulty unit?

No issues here. Had a few issues with fingerprint recognition at first, but then I programmed the same finger a second time and had no problems after. As for the actual home button, it recognizes it no matter how I push it. Sorry to hear you're having issues.

I have this exact same issue but only with the right portion of the home button. TMobile is sending me a replacement unit after I called them yesterday.

Yes I have the exact same problem! Mine has to be pressed dead on the center or it doesn't go home. Taking it back to carphone warehouse to get a replacement tomorrow.
Samsung (online) won't replace my phone, they will only give me a refund.
What a poor service. Now I have to go and buy another (and the refund may take over a week to get back to my account)
Not a good experience from my 1st purchase from Samsung online.

You'd rather them put a hold on your card, and ship you a new one while you ship them the old one (how a return works if they don't make you send the old phone in, wait for them to receive it, and then send you a new one).
Seems refund and buying it again is easier for all involved.

I' rather they ship the replacement and collect the faulty one when they drop off. I've had that service from previous on-line stores.
In terms of the cost - I paid by paypal so I am already in debt to £640 and now I have to find a further £640 until they process my refund - It's not how it should be.
Also - I offered to go to my local Samsung store to do a swap but that is not an option.
I f I had bought from CPW on-line (which I now wish I had) If it was faulty I could have returned it to any store fore an exchange.
I love Samsung products - I have had many but I am just disappointed with their after service.
I got my pre-ordered one at the store today. Checked specifically for this problem, and, boom, there it was. Replaced a new one right away.
Sorry to hear about Samsung online not replacing products in warranty. They are doing the same on me at the moment with a faulty screen. I'm going to have another go at them. All I want is a replacement....
No issues with mine.
I would suggest going to your nearest Samsung store for a replacement.

As I say - that is not an option for Samsung! Quite annoying that the Shop just refused to show any interest and say if bought on line I must deal with the problem on line.

I'm going to spend this afternoon phoning them up to get a replacement. The contact number in the UK for the shop is +44(0)1628 918334
They take 1 minute to attempt to answer a call. Which is true, getting them to send a replacement appears to take a lot longer

That's BS. Expecting you to go without until they have received the device and then processed a refund (which takes long enogh itself). I would suggest ringing them and not giving in, request an escalation.
Ok, just finished on a call after escalating to the UK call centre manager. They have just sent me this email:-
Looks like they will ask you to keep the VR headset, refund you and arrange collection of the device.
After that just go to Carphone warehouse and buy a new one:-
Thank you for contacting Samsung UK Shop.
As promised, we are sending you an e-mail, with which, we would open the returns case. Would you, please, advise me on a convenient for you collection date for your faulty device and if you could provide us with the pictures, that replicate the fault, so that I could add them to our records.
I would attempt to contact you once again by the end of the working day to provide you with an update regarding the procedure and to confirm the collection date.
Thank you for your patience and I remain at your disposal.
Thank you for contacting us.
Regards,
I thought it was because I had the plastic still over top of it, but I've noticed this too. As far as I can tell that's the only issue though, I have no pixel issues, no tint issues, no screen issues at all that I can see so rather than risk it I'm just going to keep it. Not that big of a deal.
Old phone now returned and new one purchased.
Home button on new one is working fine I'm pleased to say.

I am having this exact same issue with my S7 Edge bought from Samsung UK online at launch with free VR.
My feeling is they don't want to know, and there "support" has been horrific!
I bought mine outright on my credit card, how did you get the exchange sorted in the end, and did you have to do without your phone while they sent the new one?
Thing is fingerprint etc all still works fine, but its seriously hacking me off knowing it shouldn't be doing this!
I have the same problem now.Does the waranty cover this issue?

Hi, I purchased a Axon 7 a few months ago, and unfortunately it's having a few problems - it seems I'm going to have to RMA it. I've tried contacting ZTE UK, but haven't had a reply. I originally purchased the device from Amazon.de. I've had a look at the ZTE DE website, but I'm unable to read German. Has anyone else here from the UK had to get an RMA? How did you do it? I considered using the send for repair thing on Amazons website, but I'm not sure how that affects the warranty.
Good luck with getting a response from ZTE. They virtually have no customer service

Within the phone itself, in the appdraw there is the ZTE cares ( doesn't really) app. In there it shows the contact phone number, I've spoken to them a few times.
Sometimes you can't beat calling, and yeah ZTEUK are a joke, call them on that number.
Good luck mate.
Mike
Bought on Amazon ? Easiest RMA. Just use the amazon purchase history to send it back to them, they'll handle the RMA free of charge if it's under warranty. You only have to pay one way shipping and they fully support english.
Had an issue with mine back in september, received a new one two weeks later (they had a delay with repair so they offered to wait or get an new one).

Hi everybody,
I've gotten my EcoPro3 a few days ago, and since realised the consequences of getting an x722 with a shop ROM.
I was looking around for a custom ROM or something to replace my shop OS but I've decided to just stick with it because of others having mixed experiences with flashing on the x722!
All in all it seems to be alright, but I have an issue when charging. I'm using the original cable, but it seems to work fine when the phone is on, including when the screen is off (Supposedly quick charging then?) My issue is that when the phone is totally off, the charging will last for a few seconds, and then the phone will vibrate and the charging notification light will turn off, before cycling back on again. It charges for a few seconds, stops for a few, and starts again. Annoying as I want quick charging to work well!!
Seems to charge fairly quickly with the screen off and phone on. I do get a screen popping up telling me I have an 'unofficial' ROM, presumably shop, and that my phone won't start normally.
Running 020S
I know that lots of people have had issues with the cable, so i've ordered another one just to check and see. Anyone heard of issues like this being related to the particular ROM?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
What are the consequences of the vendor ROM, BTW? I'm planning on sticking with it. If it doesn't pass SafetyNet, I'm gonna ask for a refund or replacement, because that's unacceptable.
If you're getting messages like that on the vendor ROM (which you received in the first place), I would definitely get it on camera and complain to the reseller. That's really, really unacceptable and unprofessional of them. It's hampering your phone's day-to-day use. I'd personally open a PayPal dispute. Never let shady Chinese resellers off the hook.
As for the charging issue, I don't know if that's hardware or software. In any case, I hope you've got a video of the unboxing showing off the issue for evidence (I can't stop stating the importance of this). In any case, take a video and send to seller. It's unacceptable whether it's related to the ROM or not--everything should work perfectly out of box, don't settle for anything less, or it will come back to bite you if and when something goes wrong down the line. They'll do everything they can to hold onto your money.
Oh, and another question: does your phone pass SafetyNet? As in, can you use Netflix, Android Pay, etc.? Did it come bootloader unlocked? Because I contacted Bangood about the phone today, and they told me they've put non-original firmware on the phone. Time for a PayPal dispute, I guess. I'm planning on sending the phone back, as packaged, the moment I receive it. Never trust Bangood, I guess.
Which is weird, because my mom's $170 Le 2 from India has stock firmware and she has no issues with SafetyNet. I don't know why Banggood is doing this. They're definitely doing something shady to get a hold of those phones.
I have the same problem, the phone didn't charges its battery when it is off, and shows the same message. There is no soluttion for me, a PayPal claim will solve something ?? Do you really think?

It should, since you were misled into believing you were receiving a phone with official firmware. If the listing didn't mention that the phone's firmware was modified, you have grounds for a dispute. Document this on video, and send it together with the PayPal dispute.
The seller you bought the phone from may ask you to close the dispute for a refund. Do not do this. The moment you close the dispute, they'll ignore your request for a refund.
Did you buy from Banggood?
I actually bought from GeekBuying, who are an EU retailer and they shipped from Spain stock.
No, it doesn't pass. You're unable to install Android Pay, and I haven't tried Netflix yet :crying:
Hasn't really affected me yet, because I don't have NFC on the x722 anyway!
I'll open up a claim with them and see where it goes I suppose.
Charging issue remains unsolved It does seem to quick charge while the phone is on if I turn off the screen, though!
I'll update with what supplier offers.
I wonder if it has to do with having LeEco services on the phone.
When you first set up the phone, did you choose the option to add LeEco services? Could that be the culprit? Just wondering. I saw online that some people managed to pass SafetyNet by removing LeEco bloatware but I'm not entirely sure. Maybe they were on an official ROM. I know that Geekbuying sells the phone with both official and unofficial software.
Is the bootloader locked? You can check by going into fastboot, or maybe there's an app for it. I know Android Pay won't work on unlocked bootloaders so you'd assume your bootloader was unlocked, but it's worth checking anyway. I know Banggood is advertising the x722 as a phone with a locked bootloader. You have grounds to complain about the phone's security since banking apps and Android Pay don't work on it. That's misleading advertising since they didn't mention it anywhere in the listing.
In any case, open a dispute and see how it goes. Just don't let Geekbuying make you close the dispute.

Like the OP of this thread, I urge you to document the issue on video and open a dispute with Banggood. Do not attempt to root the ROM, unlock the bootloader, or anything (yet). Just open the dispute first. This is simply unacceptable, as the phone is not functioning as it should.
If the issue is due to software, then the onus is on Banggood to provide you with a solution. I hope you paid with PayPal, because PayPal is really good about handling disputes.
Hi, I want to do my best to report what happened. I wanted the Poco F2 Pro 256GB version and found one online at BuyBuyBox, who have an online store as well as an eBay store.
I bought the phone back in July 2020 and it started having issues like a warning about overheating at the start. After a week it started working ok and I left it and didn't decide to return it.
But soon after it had issues with the fingerprint sensor and would just not power on or the screen would go black and have to be rebooted constantly.
It stopped detecting the fingerprint sensor altogether.
I tried various ROMs and options, but believe it was a hardware fault.
I contacted BuyBuyBox via eBay where I got it. I was somewhat reluctant to return it as it was outside the 30 day period on eBay. The seller said to return it and they'd repair it and send it back.
I thought that sounds ok, they had a decent eBay rating (somehow I'm not sure).
I sent the phone back as it was unusable as it was. Once it arrived they said they would look at it. Since that time, they won't respond to any messages.
I sent eBay an email to complain about the seller being a scammer and eBay have been hopeless also at even doing anything at all.
I paid over $800 for the phone, so have lost $800.
If anyone knows of a way to help it would be appreciated. I know it's a risk to buy from overseas online, but liked the specs of the F2 Pro.
I did find some reviews since then of BuyBuyBox and it seems a common trick they do. They get customers to return devices, then never respond or return them. Which is just a bit of a shock to me, as I'm always honest and help people out, to deal with absolute lying scammers is not something I'm used to.
My suggestion do not ever use BuyBuyBox if the device you buy works you might be ok, but if you have to return it, then just don't do it as it will be gone for good.

If you paid with PayPal everything is eligible. ( Up to 90 days, sometimes more )
Open a charge back thru PayPal and explain the situation in the ticket ( i also suggest to convert it right away to a claim )
They will need to reply to PayPal else you automatically win the claim
