Guys,
Need some help here. A couple of days ago I spilled some water on the navigation buttons on the lower part of my Hermes that was working ok just fine for the last 8 months. Cleaned it up with a towel and everything looked ok for another 3-4 hours when the touch screen graduatelly stopped responding, now is dead. I took everything apart and cleaned all the connectors however I still have the same problem, no improvement of any kind.
I've seen in the forum that some other people had this issue, what I am curios is to hear if anyone was able to fix it. Thinking of replacing the digitizer/lcd..will this fix the problem or there is some other screen driver chip that may be damaged?
Thanks
Hi, I have a N800 Mini (MTK6575) and are having problems with the touch screen.
The left side of the touch-screen stopped responding to touch.
I re-flashed the phone's rom and it worked fine for about 3 weeks and now it stopped responding again, but this time its only part of the left side that's not working. (there is a dead spot about 1/3 inch wide from top to bottom not working)
I re-flashed again, but this time it does not fix the problem.
If anyone has a fix or has the same problem, please help.
Hello,
I recently had a problem with my HD2's touch screen not responding. I had this happen awhile ago but the other day I went to use the phone & after re-flashing the same rom it worked for a few hours. I thought great, now I can sell it for a little more. The problem is after a couple of days of it working not it isn't working anymore. I read several other posts online but I wanted to open a new one since my worked for a couple days only to mess up again. Has anyone else had this issue? Is this really a digitizer problem, a driver issue or something else going on all together? Please help me find out what is going on. Thanks for any help/input.
Happen the same to me few months ago. One day it stops and another day it was working again and so on. I did not flash different roms, after 2 years I can expect that, I just replaced the digitizer touch screen and with the same rom it working back flawlessly. Now I don't have problems at all so it's hardware problem and you should do the same. It cost just 20 bucks.
Hey guys,
I have a G2-D802 and I love it, but a month before I destroyed my screen.
So I just replaced it, and all was fine. But after a week, I let drop my device a little bit too heavy on the table, and the Touch didn't work anymore. But on the next day it just worked again! I put it back in my case and it doesn't work again. And on the next day...it worked again. Now after a week I had a bit of Ghost Touch and now the top half of the screen don't work, a small row in the middle works, and the bottom half now suddenly works.:crying::crying:
Can anybody help me?
Greetings
Max

Tlr: the phone was droped in the pool, after almost a month everything works but the touch, the display still the original.
Hello there guys, so my friend has this phone J7 pro and she dropped in the pool, after that the phone was left in a bowl of rice for almost a month, I already read the other threads where the touch stopped working due to a non original display, so I went ahead and unlocked and downgraded the phone to Android 7.0 but no success, everything works but the actual Touch, I can still use the phone if I connect an external mouse.
The touch also doesn't work while in Twrp but still possible to use with a mouse as already said, the display is the original one, it was never replaced, so here is my question, is this due only because of water damage? If I replace the display will it work? or do i need to do any other kind of repair?
