Hey guys!
I need yoyr help. My phone was dead since march 11. I don't remember what I'm done with it, but the following symptoms are:
- when I turn on the phone nothing exept Galaxy S GT-I9000 Samsung screen is showed.
- when I turn phone to download mode and connect it with my computer, nothing happens,no notifications, device manager nothing shows, I once showed: one of your devices has malfunction.
What should I do? USB plug is broken? My other phone have no problem with this MicroUSB cable from samsung and it's connecting to computer without any problems.

I plug cable with turning on download mode. Now computer shows: one of your device has malfunction. DM error loop?
UP Please! Same problem!
Just can access download mode, but my PC doesn't recognise it.
It got stuck in the first logo and I can't access Recovery.

You use odin right?
And correct drivers installed?

yep, I was checked this thing. And this is not helpful. Yes, have few good ideas but for my case... nothing I can use... Main reason: My computer don't show me any alerts or messages after plug in mUSB to phone...
I solved my problem. What I did was to use another PC, then just installed the Samsung drivers, plugged the phone in download mode and the the driver installed OK.
Odin recognised the phone too so I could flash a kernel.
I can't realize why my PC didn't recognize the phone. I tried reinstalling drivers, the android SDK but nothing worked.

And IF nothing worked and USB connection still fails no matter what, than it would be best to look into this
Ahhhhh I did a wrong KDZ update, L7 instead of L5! Now I have a white screen with lines flickering at the bottom of the screen. When I want to make an USB connection (emergency) then it can`t find the right drivers anymore. New drivers doesn`t work and hard reset neither. Does anybody know a solution or is it end of life for my phone?

you tried download mode ( vol + and - and after plugin the usb which is already connected to pc) witthout battery?
or you have CWM?

Yes I tried that but after connecting my phone the pc want to install the usb driver over and over again. I do have CWM but can`t get in

tried vol + and power, after home? try more times, disconect battery first, after put it back

You have to have the drives installed before connecting the phone. Maybe try install l7 drivers?

I did install the drivers before connecting the phone but the pc wants to install the driver again when I connect the phone. It worked fine before and I tried it on an other computer too and had the same problem. Its like the computer wants to connect and install the usb driver and then disconnect and connect again etc. I think my phone is really broken now my own fault

Try to disconnect from the net while connect the phone Also there is a button to avoid download the drivers
Or you can disable automatic download driver for a moment

It`s just searching for an USB driver on my computer and not on the internet. And it is like find something but then disconnect. Weird problem but my software is screwed up

What is trying to install? LG e610 ? or "Unknown device"
Can you get VID and PID ?
Yesssss I fixed it with LG SW tool and a new driver (vodafone) and now Its working again yesssssssssss

i have a problem with my Nexus 4 , my PC doesn't recognize my phone not in mass storage not in the device manger, but it will charge the phone also i cant get in my recovery it says NO COMMAND , i got Un rooted phone with unlocked bootloader and i have stock rom 4.4.0 krt16s.

yes it boot normally and i can turn USB Debugging and it still doesn't recognize with and without USB debugging mode.
When you select recovery from fastboot, that's when you get the "no command" error?

i got fresh windows without any drivers.

I do same kind of prob with my PC. The root of problem is mostly the USB cable itself. I've got the stock nXs⁴ cable yet after a year its out I think. When that happens try some many cable.
The prob might even occur due to MTP. If debugging is enable then ADB would recognize nXs⁴ as offline and no Portable media device would be visible in My PC. In that case try restarting PC!

I made a mistake while changing my rom.Instead of using recovery mode i use download mode so its all messed up.This samsung galaxy logo hanging but nothing happens.Its bricked totally.And when i connect my device GT S 5360 with usb and open odin it does not recognise nothing happens not even that yellow colour.I've done many times changing my rom rom from this to that but this is the first time i face this type of probs which i cant solve.Any type of suggestion will be most appreciated.

I am facing that problem too.
Both mass storage and download mode is not been recognized. But it works wither other phones.

sir/maam have you tried installing again the usb driver.. then turn your phone to download mode.. try this in many trials.. godbless

How to make it? And wont it hardbrick?
Jig is for unbrick,so it cant brick your device,look in general section for it or on facebook,ive and some others posted info about it.

I finally solved my problem.Its easy yet very tactical.Its not about reinstalling the usb driver on ur pc or it doesnt have anything to do with ur odin version.Just get another GT S 5360 from ur friend and connect that mobile with ur pc.And now try yours u will see the magic.

or try to off your phone before connecting to pc then go to odin mode while connecting to pc.
Uninstall the USB drivers, and reinstall the newest version.

Im looking for a little help. I installed a recent update (today) from Samsung. My battery seems to run hot and I started the phone up entered my password and the phone reboots after about 5 seconds, every time. I don't even get enough time to do a reset and wipe.
Now, 've gone into recovery mode, it says Installing System Update then comes up No command. I've wiped cache partition and wiped data/factory reset. When the phone boots up it goes as if re-installing everything then reboots again.
I want to put a custom ROM in but need the damn phone working first
What can I do?
Put phone into download mode (volume down/home/power whilst turning on) and flash TWRP recovery using odin. From there you can flash custom ROM.

Damn late reply from me but nomatter what I do I cant get Win 10 to recognise USB device ffs
I've got the same problem after the latest update. I tried a factory reset and now it reboots in system or recovery mode. Phone is not rooted.
In download mode it is not seen by the PC.

Yes, installed SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.5.25.0-retail and Kies etc, tried messing with all sorts of settings and USB device still not recognised

Try using some other PC and same phone, then same PC and some other phone.... just to find out which one's faulty...

I brought mine into the local Samsung service centre and they replaced the mainboard under warranty.
