Do you think that sony might reléase OTA update fot Android 7.0?
Is there a way that phone can be rooted so this latest versión can be installed?

First of all, I just bought my new Z3 Compact
I want to use the PS4 Remote Play when I'm not in my house but I know that is only by WiFi network. I saw the xposed FakeWiFi app, but to install it I need the ROOT access in my device.
The thing is that I dont get the update yet and I still waiting in 5.0.2 from Spain (I use the phone in Argentina) and I want to know if I root my device, when the Lollipop update finally comes to me, I going to have any issue with the update?
I come from an Moto G that if you haven't 100% stock, the OTA fails and sometime hardbricks the phones.
One last thing. Anybody know when the OTA its arrive in my phone?

I got an email message this morning from Sony saying that there was a firmware update. I was able to update OTA about an hour ago. Now have Android 7.0, which includes features like split screen.
My Z4 tablet is totally stock, btw.

Hey everyone,as you know sony stop the nougat for xa and xa ultra because of some big problems and compatibility issues....so all users with 36.1.A.0.179 please update as soon as u can to the new nougat 36.1.A.0.182 this new version will fix a lot of bugs...Dont let your phone run old nougat,check now xperifirm for latest update...The users with 36.1.A.0.179 will not recieve any other updates in the future and will not be able to recieve 36.1.A.0.182 via OTA..

In some countries the update will still be 179 ?
ya updated via OTA just now from .179 to .182 with just 48 mb .. its mostly a OTA fix i guess.. no changes still
Just found out that Sony released Android 7.1.1 for Xperia XC. It's been months already, but it's still not available in EU.
Does anyone know about their update schedule regarding EU (couldn't find any announcements)?
Is there a guide for me to manually update the ROM for a rooted EU device?

after flashing the new Update via Flashtool from xperifirm, the Phone cannot recognized that this update is installed. The Phone want to update? What can i do and where is the Problem?
