I unlocked my Arc S before and now relock my Arc S with Xperia Relock bootloader.ftf I found online.
It work fine, except I found something different when I tried to reflash firmware by using Sony Ericsson Update Service software.
The firmware is different from what I had before.
What bring into my mind is bootloader may have control about about which firmware are going to use during the update process.
And now I am begging for UK version bootloader (ftf) for my Arc S
Flash a generic uk firmware, then delete the blob_fs folder on your pc then use SEUS

Hi im trying to update but my Sony companion 2.1 says error 2003 you have do something diffrent with you hardware i have just unlock bootloader or that im trying to reinstall doesnt work if i do manuall flash i dont now wich File i need on my C603 im from sweden ??
You cannot update via OTA or PCC with Unlocked Bootlader, they will not allow you to do that. Then you have to flash via Flashtool v0.9.14 the latest 4.4 for your model from here.
I will recommend to use the Unbranded Global or Commercial one. Good Luck.
Hello,
Does anyone know where I would be able to get any (Customized DE) Stock ROM for the Xperia X Compact (F5321)? I found the site xperiafirmware.com but they only offer the CE Version. I also tried to download and unpack the German Version with XperiFirm. But I couldn't manage to bundle the files with Flashtool, since there was no Xperia X Compact to select from the Devices Menu. And I also didn't know which files exactly to include and which not. Also what about the files in the "boot" folder, should they be included? I also can't upgrade the Phone via the "Emma" Flash Tool from Sony either, because the phone isn't recognized by it.
So the simplest solution would be to just be able to get the Stock ROM ftf File from somewhere or someone and flash it via the Xperia (non official) Flashtool.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Simon
You have to close all windows except main flashtool after downloading. Then file will be created. Do you need nougat or marshmallow?
Since there is no operating system currently installed on the phone and the update from Marshmallow to Nougat failed. I guess Marshmallow would be the best option to recover the phone.
And even if I close all windows, I still can't select the Xperia X Compact in the Flashtool Devices Menu.
Which version do you use? Here you can download latest MM ftf.
