I am using the Note 4 N910G variant. I have rooted using CF Autoroot(5.0.1) and flashed CWM Recovery. I have also tried TWRP.
For some reason, I can't boot into Emotion Revolution ROM and most of the other ROMs would give me errors such as can't open file during installation.
I am seeing messages such as Recovery is not Seandroid enforcing and set warranty bit: kernel.
I have rooted and flashed ROMs before without a hitch many times. This is the first time I am coming across such problems. Forgive me for my ignorance I'll try my best to provide any extra information that is required to fix this issue.
Help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for the response by the way. Much appreciated I used CF AutoRoot and rooted my phone with Odin V3.07. Pretty much followed the steps here
http://galaxynote4root.com/galaxy-note-4-root/how-to-root-galaxy-note-4/
My phone worked just fine after the root. I went on to flash a custom recovery. (TWRP) and it went without a hitch. After which, I wiped my phone and flashed a custom ROM (Without backing up which was foolish, I know..)
http://www.emo-troid.com/tw-rom-downloads.html
Now, everytime I try to boot my phone, I would just get stuck in a bootloop. I can boot into recovery and download mode just fine for now.
Did you flash (via odin) the right modem and bootloader for the rom that you want to use?
---------- Post added at 03:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:23 PM ----------
Download and extract this: N910GDTU1BOF1_Bootloader_Modem.tar.zip than flash the .tar.md5 file via odin.

Alright. Apparently I can't use adb push for my CWM recovery. Any other way?
Edit: I have resolved the matter with the ABD push., had to simply replug my phone.

You might also try the odin method here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...nt/firmware-safe-upgrade-to-lollipop-t3313224
I believe you will have to re-odin twrp after this install.

He doesn't seem to be able to articulate what he's flashed. I'm not even sure he's on a Verizon phone.
I suggested that he Odin back to stock in his other thread and gave him the same thread you did. I'm not sure he's up to do even that.
Note: He'd have to re root if he uses the Odin method. I don't think he can Kies back. It won't recognize the ROM.

Good point. I should have noted as well he may have fried the sim. I have also done that before
Was running BPB1, and tried to decrypt my phone. It got stuck, so I did a reset, and rebooted into Safestrap. Tried to restore a backup, which seemed to go by quick (I thought it took a bit, but this was done within seconds). I FORGOT to flash teh BPB1 SS kernel....
So I got into Download mode and tried flashing the NK2 kernel. I get stuck on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Custom screen. I then tried flashing the NI2 kernel...same thing.
What the hell do I do now?
Even performed factory reset..and same thing, it won't get past the Samsung Galaxy s5 Custom Powered by Android screen.

I don't know when the TAR version of the kernel is. These are all ZIPS and one is the full tar, I think http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s5/development/vzwstock-based-tw-rom-3-4-16-t3329029
Edit - just found this: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24438995911969780 will try flashing it.
I just tried the header partiion fix here (even if it was for bok) but that didn't help either: http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s5/development/safestrap-5-0-lollipop-t3313800

Got it. thanks. Will report back.
Ok so I am going for round 2. Screwed up apparently.
I followed all the steps, and even rebooted into SafeStrap. I thought, after wiping cache, data, etc.. like the instructions said prior to installing a ROM, I could just restore my backup. That process went fine, but then I went to flash the G900V_Fix+Safestrap and it said "FAILED". WTF. I've never had a fail on flashing a zip before. Said it couldn't open the file.
I wonder if part of the SD card is corrupted because it was encrypted, but I can still see my files after I told the phone to decrypt earlier. I mean I got no error flashing my August 26 nandroid...
Any clue why flashing zips would barf? I was definitely rooted and busybox and SS installed. Though after installing SS a 2nd time (per the instructions) I got a verizon notification that said unauthorized something....
Confirmed...my files on my SD card were corrupt. So formatting card, copying over the fresh backups I made before **** hit the fan, and giving this another go.
So I've spent a good hour searching these threads, and I still can't clear this up. Some people are saying the Verizon HTC 10 doesn't have band 12 at all. Others are saying it does, you just have to s-off to use it. Will my plan enable full compatibility with T-Mobile?
Here's my game plan:
Buy the HTC 10 on Craigslist
Downgrade if needed
Read this thread and hopefully figure out how to s-off with sunshine
Follow these instructions to change the CID
Download the TMUS firmware from the "No Wipe" category of this list, which I conveniently found on this forum that clearly says no CDMA devices
Leave the radios alone, since the firmware from above already contains the TMUS radios?
Reboot and cross my fingers?
Thanks everyone!
I'd just convert to us unlocked
Convertng to US Unlocked is the way to go. Works on ATT. Should work with T-Mobile

Which RUU did you use? I got mine directly from HTC's website (2.28.617.8) and received error 158. Any tips?
Edit: Also my phone is in the update mode with the picture of the phone and a green circle.... I'm afraid to power off
Also some more info - I was on 1.85.605.9 and downgraded to 1.85.605.8. Then, I used SunShine and got S-off with unlocked bootloader. Next, I tried installing HTC's RUU, which failed.
My plan was to install twrp and supersu after getting the unlocked RUU, but now I'm just stuck.
Thanks in advance

Hey! That's the exact post I was following along! Didn't even make the connection - thanks for your help so far. Anyway, I followed your guide until the part you said to download that RUU. I'm on 1.85.605.8, and the one in your link is 1.80.617.1. I was like...ehh better not downgrade, so I used the one from HTC's website. HTC actually gave me a warning (before it died) and said make sure you're updating to an equal or higher firmware. Should I be concerned about using an older one?
Also, flash twrp and supersu before or after receiving otas?
Again, thanks so much for your help! I'm trying my best to search the forums and not ask redundant questions!

Are you bootloader locked?
Hello,
I just flashed TWRP and LineageOs-v16.0-UNOFFICIAL from this https://forum.xda-developers.com/samsung-a-series/orig-development/rom-lineageos-v16-0-unofficial-samsung-t3892229 and after reboot the screens shows "Custom binary blocked by FRP Lock.".
I bought this mobile phone completely legal. I read a lot about this, but I do not really understand what the purpose this functionality has.
When I started flashing TWRP on it, I haven't done a "Factory Reset" in the original Firmware. So I of course don't know the Google Account from the previous owner. I also don't now why the hell the Google Account is responsible for this.
I read, that with flashing Stock Rom and activating "OEM Unlocking" and the problem should be solved. I have never heared of "OEM unlocking" before, on my other phones I don't even have this point in the developer options.
Is this the solution? And where can I get a Stock Rom which will work?

No you don't need payment method for downloading from sammobile, Only needed if you want to download at high speeds. Provide me the link where you found your firmware from sammobile. With that link, I can download it, upload it to high speed servers, and then give you the link where you can download. I am asking for the link as I don't know what country you live in and therefore don't know the correct firmware. By the what I mean SM-A510xx, replace the "xx" and give the country code or the country you live in so that I can find the firmware as the number you gave me (A510FXX7CRJ6) is not what I meant and that number is a firmware number and not the device number.
ok, so after your post i tried another time to get an account on sammobile.com and now i succeeded. So the download is running atm. But the next question is; how am i supposed to get by the FRP lock? Cuz i tried to flash TWRP on it with odin, but got stopped by the FRP lock.

No. You don't need TWRP to flash stock rom via Odin. Just get the phone into download mode and flash the stock firmware via odin. You flash it the same way as you flash TWRP but just use the stock firmware. Hope this helps. Also, please make sure that the firmware is correct and if not, your phone will be stuck in a boot loop.

You have two options. The google account has a cool off period and I read that if you wait 24 hours, the login will be gone. However, on old android phones, you have to wait 72 hours. But if you go to a Samsung service center, they will remove the logins for free.
I found this website where you can bypass the lock but I am not sure if it works. Do the samsung bypass and not any other brands. Try it anyway: https://www.unlockunit.com/blog/bypass-google-account-verification-factory-reset-protection/
