So let me try and trigger the OCD inside you guys. Does anybody else notice their edge plus with different sloped edges? Mine seems to have a steeper slope on the left and a smoother slope on the right
edit..fixed..previous version said steep left and smooth left.

I've noticed on my Atrix two interesting things about the glass and I was wondering if fellow Atrix owners could give me an idea if their Atrix has the same issue:
1.) On the right side, the glass is sunk a tiny bit below the casing/frame so that when you run your finger on the glass left-to-right and go off the right edge, you feel a slight "bump". BUT on the left side the glass is more or less flush with the casing/frame. Perhaps (maybe just in my head) very slightly above it.
2.) When pushing on the corners or edges (lightly) there is a bit of play where the glass "squishes" down a bit. It feels almost as though it's like there is a tiny rubber gasket under it allowing it to take a bit or absorption.
Has anyone else noticed either of these issues, more importantly #1? I figure #2 is standard and I'm not concerned about but with #1 I really don't want to find myself down the road having issues with the front glass.
Thanks very much.
I just checked mine and I didn't notice either of these issues, if you're within 30 days I'd recommend an exchange....
I notice #2... there definitely is some play and I remember reading that some others reported this as well. Have to push quite hard on it though, definitely not noticeable during normal use.

It is normal. The only time you should be worried is if the glass is lifting and you can actually see the edges of the glass. But as long as it is flush or deeper there's nothing to worry about. It's common amongst phones with fronts that are completely glass. The iPhone 4 doesn't have this problem because they use a harder plastic material as a "gasket" but that is also why their back glass panels are so easy to break. I would rather have a little "play" then worry about dropping my phone 4 inches from the ground.
mine is solid, solid as a rock..
Thanks for the replies. Anymore owners care to chime in?

For issue 1 I have that also for issue 2 take off your battery cover and see what happens. I had it really bad until I got my battery cover replaced at AT&T. Once I did that it reduced significantly, seems to be some Battery Covers don't fit just right.

Mine has both 1 and 2.
I've got both also. No biggie.

I have both as well. I'm not worried either.
I think #1 might just be the entire phone being pushed further into the plastic backing and not actually the screen getting pushed into the internals of the phone.
Thanks for the responses. This helps in a big way. I'm guessing I should RDWHAHB and just use the phone. If it leads to any deficiency, it would likely occur within the 1 year warrenty (knock on wood).
I have to exchange my acer, the screen at the bottom near the dock sticks up past the outer frame. If you push right there it moves also. You can definitely feel the edge of the glass sticking up. Has anyone else had this issue?

Mine does at the top right corner.. and its slighty spongy. lots of people have said the same thing.. This is due to the design of the glass going all the way to the edge with no frame. Mine has been this way since day one and has not gotten any worse .i could see how there could be a assembly issue causing this to be much worse for some.. mine is appox the thickness of a credit card higher then the frame on that side..that is with the screen protector on it ..
I would use your own descression on rather to exchange it or not
Maybe I am being to picky but, it sticks up about as far as you said, about the thickness of a credit card for a good 3 inches along the bottom edge.

Spoiled Customer
You have every right to take it back.. its a expensive device.. I have mine in a case with screen protector so does not bother me.. If it were a scratch on my van that you almost not see . OR A SCUFF MARK ON A PAIR OF HEELS .. I WOULD SCREAM LIKE A SCORN UNGRATEFUL Spoiled Bxxxh.
Good Luck..
Mine bows up in the same spot as well. It doesn't bother me too much but I'm having other issues so mine is going to Acer. Damn micro-HDMI port.
Materials
Mine does the same thing, but I can bend the bezel back. It is IMHO not an assembly issue, the case simply is not as sturdy as it could have been.
Well, I got mine replaced and it is much better, there is a slight edge there but i can live with it, plus no stuck pixel, like my first one.
When I place my nexus 4 on a flat surface, like a desk, the top left and bottom right corners wobble back and forth. This is especially annoying if I am typing as the phone will move slightly and tap the desk. I don't remember if it came this way but i am thinking it could have been due to it being in my pockets for long periods which might have warped it. Does anyone else have this?
+1
I have the slightest wobble.
My top right and bottom left wiggle while top left and bottom right seem flush.
nope
Mine doesn't seem to wobble.

This. But ever so slightly. So slightly, in fact, that I had to put my face at table level to notice.
It could be the piece of glass over the LED flash. It seems to be separate from the rest of the back.
Cant be the led flash cause it wobbles even with the bumper case on it. I would like to try to fix it but im fearful of the possibility of cracking the back, seems to be quite fragile. Might just leave it between 2 book over night.

That won't work. The screen isn't flat

Yup, mine (updated version with the nipples) also wobbles top left and bottom right, both with and without the official bumper from Google. The wobble seems to be amplified with the bumper on.
I've tried to bend it back several times with quite firm force. Didn't seem to do a thing. It's not something that bothers me so much that it is worth cracking the glass trying to fix it. So I would just live with it.
I have a case on.
With case there is a very slight wobble top right to bottom left.
no wobble top left to bottom right.
without case
the wobble is much more noticeable top right to bottom left
no wobble top left to bottom right
I recently bought a used note 4 that had the some scratches in the bezel (the shiny part) it even had one corner that had a fairly deep gouge and it appeared to have been dropped on that corner.
I found the ultimate tool for cleaning things up. And if you are brave enough to go all out like I did you can just about eliminate even deeper nicks.
I used a 4 sided nail polisher that my wife had laying around (it has 7 different levels of grit) and now the phone looks like brand new!
Pay attention to the angle of the shiny side of the bezel, it looks close to a 45 degree angle.
I started with the finer sides (the higher the number, the finer the grit). After I could see that it was obviously working I tackled the corner that had the deep nick in it with the stronger side, when the nick was next to gone completely I went to the next grade and continued down to the finer grades until the last (polish) grit.
I have attached an image of what I am talking about.
I just got another replacement device so mine looks brand new, but I wouldn't mind seeing how yours turned out once you finished. Gotta keep this thing looking pretty until at least the Note 8 drops.
Hey that is definitely a pretty clever idea. I'm not sure how fine of grit you will be able to find on a fingernail buffing block but FYI if you go to a auto parts store like Advance Auto for around $7.00 "3M" has a 3000 grit polishing sheet/pad. I can say you will not find anything that has finer grit without special order. I bought one to finish a set of lockpicks I made. I intend to just smooth the edges on them whoever the entire set ended up with a mirror finish in no time .
I have noticed that one of the sides of the phone when you lay top of the screen corner on table then you can see slight curve going from edge to edge and another side almost does not. This is my third replacement one of earlier ones had the same curve but only to the opposite side and almost same degree as this one. Screen is not separating and this was even since I took it from retailer. (Tried to show them but they told that it is completely straight) so I forgot about that and mooved on. So is there anyone maybe who has same issue here ?
P.s. phone has never been kept in any (back, front) jeans pocket.
Thank you for your answers.

I dunno. Looks pretty straight to me. Ill give you this --the phone has a very unique build to it. I lay it down on the wireless charger at night and depending on the angle it does appear to have a bend to it. But when I pick it up to examine it it seems fine.
Maybe a little optical illusion combined with stories (real and fake) of phones bending?
