Hi.
I buy s5 in T-mobile 4 month ago, after using 2 month s5 a need to send my s5 to warranty(15.9.2014), after first warranty I send for 3 more time and then i write letter to get new one because my s5 was 4 time in warranty(last 3.10.2014). Now after 1 month from last warranty a get "new" device(7.11.2014), they give me my old s5 like new one with again no fixed issuse.
I really lost trust to Samsung, and they give me new phone without box, I really mad and sad!
What to do now??
Sorry for my English it is pretty bad =/

Hey guys,
Basically bought a g1 off of ebay about 6 months ago, and now the screen doesn't work. It should be covered by warranty, but HTC said tmobile look after it, and tmobile said because im not a customer HTC look after it? and so no one is taking responsibility.
Any ideas or advice?
sounds like big nusiness to me, just raise hell, tell HTC how much you have loved their customer service in the past and that you would hate for them to put a black mark on their own record. i would really hate to move to another phone company but if they refused to fix the phone as it is under warranty then i would
Yeah... it sucks a bit, when i try to live on the 'cutting' edge and buy stuff before it's sold locally... I'm gonna just cause a big fuss over it...
The most annoying thing, is it's the second g1! The first one I had, had a bad trackball. I noticed it straight away and sent it back to the seller, but it got 'lost' in transit. So i lost $500 usd on that one.... I'm not preprared to lose another $500!!

Don't bother trying to go through T-mobile. If it isn't bought through them, they can not and will not help you with a warranty exchange.
Your chances of getting warranty through HTC is slim unless you can somehow prove the phone is less than a year old.

that's not too hard to do since the phone was released on October 22nd of 2008
haha, word.
haha yeah, was thinking the same thing.. it's been out for less then a year...
I just got off the phone with HTC USA and they told me the same thing again, I have to go through tmobile. I was like No, I can't. I don't have an account with them. The phone was purchased 'out-right'. They said well in that case, the only other thing i can think of is if you go to Reapirs and they gave me their number. Said their only open like 8:30 - 5. So i'll have to call back in the morning...
Like why is everyone passing it around for? I mean, im sure tmobile don't actually repair the phone, they just ship it down to HTC for repairs.. whats the big deal?
What? omg where did it go?
Hi people,
i hope there isn`t like 5 threads about this.. but i sended my HD2 today to the HTx guys because of the jitter bug.. i finally want it to be repared (or even better replaced)
now my question is .. if you guys have good experience with the HTC support and how long this should probably take?
i live in germany by the way.. i also made a poll
and if it is more than one month.. could you write down , how long
never had to send my device in for a repair, but it took them about 2 months to get me a new 16gb card for my tmous hd2. (according to them it was back ordered with a max turn around of 2-3weeks). I will be doing any repair/replacements through t-mobile and asurion.
Almost 3 months for mine. Repairs did not fix the issue and the phone was finally replaced. Will never buy another HTC again.
First let me say this wasn't intentional. I had a note 4 that I purchased from Craigslist about 2 months ago. Recently, the screen stopped turning on. Its a long story but the warranty was voided. Since I needed a phone, I added a line and got an S6 intending to just pay the ETF on the new line and cancel it. So I put the note 4 on the new line and put the S6 on my primary line. When I called to add insurance, the rep put the insurance on the new line which has the note 4. Did I just luck out and can I file a claim and get this note 4 replaced?
I just didn't understood what you said (my bad english)... the only thing I know is that "Craiglist" is not a good page to buy high end phones like the Note 4. All I heard about people who bought phones via that page were complains about chinese clones, dummies (fake phones for showcase) or, like you, phones that suddenly stopped working. I just bought mine in amazon. A friend of mine travelled to NYC and recived the package. Zero Problems.
Hello everybody
My english is bad because i was lazy and didn't want to learn in school so forgive me
I bought my Samsung Galaxy s7 edge and today i let my phone and the glass is broken. Everything is working but glass on screen is broken. 1 hour ago i read article where is written that samsung service can raplace it for free one time its called samsung guard or something like that. Similar situation was with Galaxy s5. Is it true? I rooted my phone of course and i know that i void warranty but i was reading that there is a chance that service repair something if it is not a problem which root could do. Can you tell me is that even truth that samsung is doing something like that. If its true what do you think? Is there a chance they will repair that without checking, if my phone is rooted?
Sorry for my bad english and thanks for answers
I vaguely recall reading about free replacements in some non-US country, but as US resident I don't have any details.
In the U.S., Samsung sells an insurance plan, but there is a deductible for replacing a broken phone. Not free. What country are you located in? Hopefully someone from that part of the world will know more than I do. Good luck.
Do you even have Samsung Guard insurance? You were supposed to register your phone till August 15th I guess. If you did so I think your phone can get repaired. It depends where you have bought s7 tho. Here in Poland there are some threads about rooted phones that have been successfully repaired but only particular mobile operator - ORANGE. It has to be contained in your warranty papers.
