hey guys i need help:
i broke my digitizer on my s4. touchscreen does not work. phone is pattern locked. and NO usb debugging is not on.
how can i get my data off? i would really appreciate anyyy help! when i plug into computer it recognizes the phone plunged in but doesnt show anything due to phone being locked.
any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

quick one for you guys.
my touch screen is completely dead. my phone fell face down and shattered.
the problem is i have a pattern (dots) lock and cant even get the phone to recognize touch
when i hook it up to the PC it shows the phone but it wont show the mass storage until its unlocked.
how can get to it?

Is the phones bootloader unlocked? What android version are you on?

Just dropped it and the phone is malfunction.
a. the screen is shatter and touch isn't work.
b. usb port doesn't seem to work either.
Main problem now is that I have lockscreen with PIN on, since touchscreen isn't working I can't access it to turn on On-Screen feature.
USB port doesn't work, I think I can use wireless but again, can't get pass the lockscreen.
I have tried remote Unlock from AVG app which I currently has it running on the phone but still cannot get pass the screen.
I want to copy a few important files over first then perform Factory Reset via Recovery.
Does anyway I can do that?
All feedback and thought welcomed.
Also, since I got this phone for 4 months, i believe warranty is over. Anyone know which reliable, good service that I can send my phone for the screen fix?

Since the usb doesn't work so I don't think ADB pull will help, plus I have to turn on the USB Debugging anyway, which I can't now.

Hey guys, so the other day my VS980's screen decided that it did not want to turn on anymore. The digitizer works fine and I can feel the haptic feedback of the screen touches but that is the only way I can interact with the phone. So then I figured that I should plug it in to my laptop to get my pictures, music, etc off of it. The microusb port is not working either, unbelievable! When I plug it in, all that pops up on my computer screen is that an LG AndroidNet phone is plugged in. It won't let me access the storage!
Do you guys know of any way that I can download an app or something that will just backup my phone to the cloud without me doing anything on the phones end? This really sucks and I hope that one of you has some advice for me!

Does adb work?
hi, i recently broke my phone screen. the whole screen has turned black, however the phone still works. i am trying to view my phone on my computer using the [email protected] program. but as my usb debugging is not enabled i am facing difficulties. please can someone help me to find out how to get around this.

I recently had an accident with my phone and the screen broke into a 1000 pieces but is still together in the mobile.
I am trying to recover the pictures in the internal memory of the S4, and then the insurance will give me an exchange phone.
The problem I am currently having is one that I havnt been able to find on any post on any website, The screen is broke so the touch screen doesnt work, the start button seems to not be working or does work but nothing is shown on the screen or on the LCD light to indicate its on. I am trying to plug the phone into KIES 3, But the phone is not found/recognised so dosnt appear on the screen, I try to press the start button but nothing happens to make it recognise the phone. So seems Kies is a dead end here as it dosnt pick it up, and I also know that USB debugging is not enabled, as I found out by trying to use DR FONE FOR ANDROID, I manage to get to the 2nd option screen but says the USB debugging has to be enabled to work, but without being able to see the screen I cannot enable it. Is there any programme to view the phones screen on the laptop/computer and be able to access the system and enable the USB dbug?
I am currently downloading the ANDROID SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT KIT as I read in some post, but will this resolve my problem or am I gonna hit a dead end???
I am hoping that the ROM/software of the computer hasnt broken or got corrupted as then the phone would be dead.....
Can someone please help me asap, as meanwhile I am without any phone till I am able to repair this one....
May I add that the PC dosnt recognsise it either, no new item appears in MY PC....
