ADB doesn't see Galaxy 3

Hey, I have a little (big) problem.
ADB doesn't see my phone anymore.
error: device not found
USB Debug is on.
PS: ADB works perfectly on my Desire, but not on Galaxy 3.

Check if its debugging mode...
Try replugging it. This works for me though

I think issue is with the drivers.

with some uninstalls and reinstalls with these looks like its working, thanks

Install one more time drivers on your PC. Maybe can help

It is not a driver problem it is Samsung problem!
Solution:
1. Unplug the USB cable
2. On the cell phone, dial the following number: *#7284#
Once the last # is hit, the PhoneUtil application is launched.
Choose USB -> Modem and then USB -> PDA mode.
The good mode should be PDA. Even if the mode is PDA, switch to Modem and then back to PDA!!!
3. Plug the USB cable.
Had the same problem, after this works great!

[Q] USB problem, phone charging but no connection between pc and pda

Hello,
I have an irritating issue since i flashed my Samsung GT-I5800 with Firmware I5800XXJPF.
Ever since I can no longer connect the phone to my PC. It starts charging, but it does not discover my phone.
I tried to change the USB mode from PDA > to modem and again > PDA using the *#7284# code but then some thing weird happens.
As soon as I put in in modem mode, the PC sees the phone (using ODIN), but I'm still not able to browse the phone (Micro SD) nor can I use the phone in "Kies" (the Samsung backup and management tool).
This results in not being able to flash my phone with the latest Firmware
Does anyone knows how I can enable my USB mode?

Did u try this?
Settings -> Wireless and Network -> USB Settings -> Select 'Ask on connection'.
Try connecting the USB cable again, you should now get a notification to select which mode u want. Select Mass Storage.

Suddenly the phone is working as ecpected in PDA mode, the flash worked, ... i'm a happy man!

[Q] MTP USB Conection problem Help !!

hi guys recently i have buyed an lte note 3 SM n9005 , running in KK
but i have found a huge issue that i can't conect my phone on MTP mode
and when conect the cable to my phone nothing happens exept a charging battery
& there is no notification about plugging the device to pc but the adb conection work
all i'm asking for is any way or guide toturial to fix MTP so i can transfer files to my phone from my PC
BTW i'm terrebly sorry for my Bad English :crying:

Open the Dialer, enter *#0808# and see what is your current settings?

having the same issues , mine says ap and mtp+adb.
think i may have f:ed something up with my usb 3.0 settings but not quite sure because its the same with usb 2.0...
if anyone has any ideas pls let me know. help would be much appreciated

my note is charging but being recognized. i had swapped cables, tried a diffrent computer, downloaded kies for drivers and manualy downloaded drivers andnothing. kies does not recognize it helpppppp i need odin to recognize as well!!!

Well As you know the Devise that i have baught is new !!
and the cause was that the phone was seting on PTP MODe
and i've just follewed Mr " vndnguyen " advice which typing in the dialer the following code :
*#0808#
and i've just set it from PTP Mode to MTP+ADB option !! :laugh:
now my phone is regonized by My PC :highfive:
that's it!! it worked for and i wish the same 4 you too :victory: good luck Pal :good:

Can you maybe know what is means CP and AP when i enter in USB Settings menu when enter *#0808# i have for now set AP and usb settings to MTP+ADB

That setting is correct, leave as it is.
CP = Cellular Processor
AP = Application Processor

Need some help with dm+modem+adb usb setting

Hello I have galaxy note 3 sm-900 octa core version.
The phone is rooted with cwm recovery.
Now i need the phone to picked up in windows with dm+modem+adb mode under usb settings,
The phone only picks ups with MTP mode .
I have tried all different drivers on pc also.
Can anybody maybe point in direction maybe of a rom which has dm+modem+adb+mtp enable or something?
Also checked ultra light odex rom does not access to the dailer codes , the meduim one does but also the phone does not pick up.
Have tried 3 different pc' s , will redo my pc tonight to if that is the problem.

I believe that might work only in stock ROMs, and also depends of the modem version

Phone not detected by PC

The Galaxy Note 4 is only charging when it is connected to my pc but it is not detected by the pc..It only charges the phone..I connected it to another pc and it is the same..The fast charging also stopped working..I tried to connect another Note 4 to the pc(with the same cable) and it works fine..So the problem isn't from the pc..When I enter into download mode and open Odin,it recognise the phone..I've cleared the phone and installed lollipop 5.1.1(hoping it would solved this issue, as I was on 5.0.1 but it is still the same)..I can't copy anything on my phone Do you have any solution?

i dont know if this is going to work just an idea. type *#0808# Make sure Usb is selected as "AP" and Usb Settings is as "MTP" then connect the device....if not working then enter the code again and this time change usb settings to MTP+ADB see if it works. Also Try a different cable i know this cable works okay on other phone but just for the heck of it try a different one

I already tried to dial *#0808# and change the usb setting but it didn't work..I used another cable too but it is still the same
