[Q] is the unroot_original.zip method work?

i have rooted tab and i want to go to Samsung warranty service.
I'm use the unroot_original.zip for unrooting the tab
the icon of superuser will deleted
the Q's now is my tab still rooted or not?
or i need to download full firmware source?
the unroot_original.zip method is:
To Unroot Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 only
1- Go to Market > My Applications then uninstall the update of Superuser application
2- Copy unroot_original.zip file to MicroSD
3- Turn off the device
4- Press and Hold Power + Volume[+] buttons until it`s boot in recovery mode
5- At recovery menu, choose Install update from external storage
6- Select unroot_original.zip
7- Wait until it`s “Done”
8- Reboot the Galaxy Tab

From what I understand you are now unrooted.
To make sure download app from google play store called "root checker". It is free and will tell you if you are still rooted or not.

Or to minimise any risk of Samsung detecting root, just flash a stock ROM with Odin

I tryed 4 or 5 times to root my Galaxy y with the " DooMLoRD's Easy Rooting Toolkit " but it´s not working.
Got some Fails: Read only, Superuser app can´t install,

Fix updat I9300XXUGMK6 BTU

1- flash MJ9_BTU UK
2- root with CF_AUTOROOT
3- download CSC Changer from ply store and change CSC on BTU
4- download & use triangleaway for counter reset
5-flash MJ9 again
6-boot in to recovry wipe data/fact_reset, wipe cashe & dalvike
reboot and on wifi check update you will get MK6 OTA

*remove the root via SuperSU app
*do factory reset in settings/accounts/backup & reset.

Before u start make backups of ur files /EFS , /myown**** and any /others if u need them. REMEMBER u doing this on ur own risk.
What do u need:
1. Win rar LINK
2. USB drivers for our device LINK
3. Odin LINK
4. Official firmware LINK
5. Cf-auto-root LINK
6. SuperSU flashable zip file LINK
7. LATER download "csc changer" LINK and app root uninstaller LINK.
What to do:
1. Install win rar on ur computer.
2. Unpack USB drivers and install.
3. Unpack official firmware once (ONLY ONCE!).
4. Put your phone to download mode (Turn off him, press and hold "volume DOWN"+Home buttom+power and hold untill ur screen look like that LINK
Next press "volume up" to confirm. Then ur screen should be like this LINK
5. Connect your device to pc by USB cable. REMEMBER! Always use usb port from back panel of ur pc. NEVER use usb from keyboard, hubs or front usb panel. They can not hold power and conection will be lost (which can make huge problem for u and ur device).
6. Flash official firmware by Odin.
7. When ur device will restart and boot corectly put on ur storage cf-auto-root zip file (DO NOT UNPACK IT!).
8. Turn off ur phone, press and hold "volume UP"+home buttom+power. Screen should look like this LINK
There u can navigate up and down by volume buttoms and accept by short pressing power buttom.
9. Navigate to "install zip from SD card", navigate to cf-auto-root ziped file and press accept by power buttom. Now you should see many of: NO NO NO YES NO NO NO
Navigate to YES and accept. Some letters will apear and when it done press "reboot system now"

15. Install and open this app. Ofc grant root permission for app when ask for it. Press "change csc" and on list use "BTU".
16. Reboot device.

Can i update from 4.1.2 XXELA to 4.3 MJ9 without losing my efs? I am talking for flashing with Odin.
P.S. - Link for M9 BTU is broken (File has reached maximum downloads)

From xxela u not lose efs
but good user always have min 1 backup remember it

I'm running stock MG4 (BTU) no there is no ota update and no kies update. It just says you already have the latest updates. Is something wrong or will it still come???

Just to share my expirience with this tut...
I tred first to install mk 6 rom from other thread but csc came kor,than followed this quide and somehowe menaged to change csc to btu. After root delete app i stii had custom binary. Tried flashing mk9 but i got some sistem errors and over this i flashed again mk6 so now its ok... its btu

Dont flash that "dumped firmware" sh1t. Ppl have issues with their devices cuz of it. Follow my instruction started from 1. Step by step and everything will be fine.

U have to install MJ9 manualy by odin. Dont ask me why cuz i dont have time for that stories. U just have to install MJ9 manualy and by OTA update to MK6.

If u instaled MK6 from other threed, for what u need BTU csc? U got the latest update so u dont need change csc (but u still have strange FW made by hands of some users)

Cuz u dont read instruction well. When u unrooted device its not mean u cleared everything.
Important is read and think
Look at this again:
17. Download from playstore "Root App Delete" or from pc LINK

Many Malware were installed by these apps. Not a good solution to root my S3! The Steps are useful, but the apps are high secure risks.

hello fellas, I have a GT-I9300 with 4.3 and im triying to root the phone with no success, I try to install CWM with ODIN and HEIMDALL SUITE, but when i go to recovery mode (HOME+PWR+VOL UP) the phone always go to the old TWRP.
anyone has the same issue and has solved?

Anyone actually got a working rooting method? Root Genius costs 40 dollars.

First download kingroot and follow as the app instruct and then your device will be rooted .
Open your browser and search for "Super sume"
( but do not download it from apps4fun.com )
once u download super sume open the app and
grant it root permission and then press the big blue
icon and let it do its work once it is completed
super su will start autometiclly and then go to its seting and scroll down and search for ENABLE PRO
and put a tick on it . Now close super su and open playstore and search for FLASH FIRE and download it . Now open it and grant it root permission . Now close it and download ZIP FILE OF TWRP FOR GRAND 2 . Once u downloaded it copy i to your external sd card . Now open flash fire you will see a plus sign at the bottom press it and select flash zip or otp now select sd card as a storage from the top
and select the zip file of twrp it will show u a screen and now selet ok from the top left corner and the scroll down and select flash and then ok . And it will take 1 to 5 min to flash and its down twrp is now installed in your grand 2 . IF YOU LIKED IT PLEASE LIKE MY REPLY AND I ANY PROBLEM TELL ME

Its just easy mate, first of all youll need a PC, Odin3, and a USB Cable. Download SuperSU zip file on the chainfire website in youre phone, download TWRP or CWM recovery tar file on a specific thread, install Odin3 on any website (You need working one), so after downloading those youll need to turn off and put your phone in Download Mode or Odin mode which is for Samsung. Connect the phone into the PC and open Odin3, after opening youll see buttons which includes AP or PDA. Select it and choose the tar file and turn off any settings if told on instructions of installation, after setting those flash and once its done and shows "PASS!" remove battery for 10 secs if told and set your phone on recovery. Select install zip and choose the SuperSU zip file on the download location and BOOM! Youre done mate.

You need to flash TWRP first
But there is No TWRP FOR SM-G710K
Flashing will probably Brick your device and/or corrupt your EFS partition
