Help Super long bootloader boot time - Optimus L3, L5, L7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok so lately I have noticed that my Phone is taking way to long to boot. When a normal l7 would normal boot the phone, it should got the the LG logo for about 10 sec and then after that it should go to(in this case the Carbon fiber boot animation) for about 30 sec +
But the problem is with my phone the LG logo takes 2min + till it moves to the Carbon fiber boot animation then about 1 min for the boot of the carbon OS (P.S just a side note, it did it with slim bean and CM and still no luck)
I have also used CWM to clear/F reset everything, but it has not made a difference.
Could anyone help me out here?
Is there a bootloader or kernel i need to flash to fix this? or is it because my CWM may be outdated(Shouldent matter) and again I may of missed somthing in CWM so still point out the basics <--These are just ideas
On another side note the phone is a
-p705
-32GB Micro SD card in it
- cwm 6.0.2.8
-Kernel: 3.4.4--Cr3pT-OC [email protected] #1 Sat Feb 8 04:34:03 EET 2014
-(If any more info is needed, just ask)
Link to carbon ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2638321

See if it boots quicker without your microsd card, if it does, then there's your problem. There's a lot of fake/faulty cards being sold on the net.
Otherwise, the LG logo shouldn't be there for 2 min, reflash stock via KDZ.

You need kdz updater to go back to stock, also when you get cwm again
flash cwm 6.0.4.9
Sent from my LG-P705

I have just done that and there has been no change in the LG logo time(bootloader) but once it gets to the room logo it's much faster. But still slow on the first half

how??
Do you have CWM6.0.4.9????
I can't now provide you a link, but type on youtube "LG L7 (root, bootloader,CWM"
Then in description is a link.
Download it and flash it with KDZ.
That is rom for P700 with root, unlocked bootloader and CWM.
Then flash CWM6.0.4.9 for P705
Than download idk cyanhacker or cm11 by imer choose. . bit take care that ypu use rom for P705
Then in updater-script change from P705 to P700,because that (((p700 kdz rom)))
Flash rom, and that's it.
Here is an instructions to flash
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache
Mount system
Format system
Wipe dalvik-cacje
Flash rom
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik cache
Flash GAPPS
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik cavhe
Reboot.

Maybe you have to flash a different pit-file first. Some updates from Samsung repartioned the system and other ROMs are not compatible with it. Please check for the size of you system. If it is any bigger that 8.9GB, you have to flash the according pit file first.

The best thing you could do right now is to reflash the rom again , and make sure your doing a full wipe , cache/dalvik/factory reset or if your using a philz recovery go ahead and choose Factory reset/Wipe to install a new rom" option or something like that.or either you can use tamirda's Superwipe from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2379104. then install the rom and i hope this fix your problem. Have a nice day.

A little info for those stuck at 49% using LG Flash Tool

I just want to share my experience after a bad flash and no way to recover.
I was still able to get to TWRP. I had flashed a Rom and it went bad. Long story short. No Loki causing boot into fastboot screen.
Tried using flash tools to restore stock with kdz. No good kept stopping at 49% because it was not the expected firmware.
The fix.
Wipe system in recovery then try again. With system wiped. The firmware matches and installs as expected.
Just wanted to share my experience. Maybe it will help someone else with the same problem.

Hi, sorry for my english , I'm french
I wanted to flash a custom rom on my LG G2 D802 .
I wanted the Paranoid Android (PA +) with 4.3 JellyBean .
So I made the
Backup
Wipe data / factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Wipe dalvik Cache
After I
Choose zip ( custom ROM ) from sd card
Then I
Reboot System Now
And turn on my laptop, I get an error message saying
[640 ] started Fastboot Mode
[ 690] udc start ()
I realized I had to flash AOSP kernel before changing to a ROM paranoid . But my kernel is blocked and so I have to go back to the stock ROM
When I did this tutorial using lg tools , flashing stops at 49% with an error message .
I also saw that I could access the recovery mod by following this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2565904(but I saw that I could not otherwise reboot my phone after it was bricking ) and therefore flash my stock Rom which I had made the backup . But I do not know if the ROM has been saved and if it remained in my files after the Wipes.
If it is not there, is that in buying a micro USB ====> HUSB adapter, I could install a stock ROM from a USB key ? Or is there a way I can put files from my computer to my laptop which has no port micro sd?
And is what I could with my kernel "blocked " ?
Thank you very much

It sounds like you have access to recovery, so you can use adb to push or pull files from your phone. Your backup should still be on your phone, as long as you didn't wipe the internal storage.
I'd suggest pulling the important photos/videos/backup/files/etc from your phone to your computer, then wiping internal storage or wipe factory reset. Then hopefully it wont get stuck at 49%, as that is what I did for my friend's D801 to allow it to go back to stock 100%.
Exactly what i keep telling people with the same issue, Just do a full wipe in cwm/twrp before restoring to stock. the problem is allot of them can't get into recovery :silly:
Thanks for sharing! Will be useful someday

Reading vs980 now I have no recovery, flash tool does not work ( says wrong phone) rayglobe runs perfect but all maps dealong with root sees a 802 phone. Anyone have a idea how to fix this?

Well i dont have a stock rom, i didnt do a backup of it. But is it posible to flash a stock rom with cwm? And will it install normaly with cwm?
Btw if it can, do you maybe have a stock zip? I dont have a pc atm to go in to kdz.
Sad to say I don't think you'd be able to flash a stock ROM without a PC, Just because of the .kdz file extension. So you're telling me after trying to flash 3 ROMs, every time you get a blank screen.
Can you send me a picture of the log you get after trying to install a custom ROM or even better send me a video of what's going on.
P.S-Are you getting a black or blank screen or a frozen screen?

After that if the phone manages to boot at all i get that img all the time.
Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone.media has stopped.

Well my phone is a p705 when i download cm11 or any kitkat rom for p705 i get stuck on lg logo or get random reboots, so i decided to download the p700 version.
I unzipped it and changed updatescript from p700 to p705 and all the lines in build.prop to p705.
finaly i got the phone to boot, but i still get random reboots or android phone process has stopped.

its a bit strange to me that your stuck in recovery, usually if you flash recovery and it formats system (happens some times) if you make a clean install the rom should boot.
Last thing you can try is to format every thing in this order.
Go to mounts and storage.
Mount/system
Mount/data
Mount/catch
Format/system
Format/data
Format/catch
Go to advanced and whipe delvic catch
Then just follow the rest of instructions that @Paget96 said.
But yes if that doesnt work flash via kdz

yes exactly, i had a stock rom , and now i have a stock rom again, and its working, i used kDZ and flashed new stock rom , and suddenly my phone starts to normaly again. But when i flashed custom rom with Clockworkmod, then it was starting in recovery mode, but it all started when i just upgraded my google stuff with google play, and then phone was restarting and started in recovery mode, but why , i dont know, i backuped files and i dident lost nothing but that starting in recovery mode was strange for me to.

Well If you want to flash a custom rom again, then flash another custom rom aside from the one that caused such strange thing. Follow Paget96 flashing steps, see if the problem persists, and make sure it's for L7 p700. If you haven't tried cyanhacker v2.0 then try it.
