Hello, the thing is that the phone itself runs any stock 4.1.2 rom, when i do the wipes necessary and install any KiKat rom and then i reboot it goes to the LG logo ,black screen , then LG logo again and it stays there forever , ive tried many other kitkat rooms and it happens the same. Any suggestion?
I have the same problem. I can install all 4.1.2 roms on my P705 and cant install kitkat. Idk why.
I get the same lg and black screen, tryed to change cwm and every thing but still the same. Only thing id like to try is, flashing P700 stock and then try to flash a rom.

After that if the phone manages to boot at all i get that img all the time.
Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone.media has stopped.

Well my phone is a p705 when i download cm11 or any kitkat rom for p705 i get stuck on lg logo or get random reboots, so i decided to download the p700 version.
I unzipped it and changed updatescript from p700 to p705 and all the lines in build.prop to p705.
finaly i got the phone to boot, but i still get random reboots or android phone process has stopped.

what i do whenever i install a rom:
1. download the rom from the FroyoBread tread
2. copy the .zip file to sd card/xrecovery/backup
3. Reboot into xrecovery
4. make a backup of my current rom
5. once backup has finished do a full wipe, then wipe cache, then wipe dalvik cache and finally battery stats
6. install custom .zip go to where i put the froyobread .zip file and install it
7. repeat stage 5
8. reboot phone
9. leave it for a little while, the first boot always takes a while, then after so long you should go through the boot animation and so on so forth.
hope this might help

Hi friends I have Nexus S i9023
I have just rooted the phone for the first time
current android version is :2.3.6
I have ROM manager and Super user installed
I downloaded the ICS build for Nexus s WIP
trying to install it from ROM manager and also from RECOVERY but it gives me a triangle exclamation mark of android ....
not working
tried several times but no result
please help meee ......
What recovery do you have? I had issues flashing some roms (like miui) with cwm 3.x which was what I first got when unlocking and rooting my phone. Flashed cwm 5.0.2.0 or something like that with fastboot and never had issues again.
I have Clockwork recovery 3101.img
From the sound of it looks like u don't have cwm try flashing it with rom manager and the reboot into recovery from rom manager that should work.

how to do wipe now ???
Boot into clockworkmod recovery then with volume rockers scroll down to where it says (wipe data factory reset) wipe that 3x. Then wipe cache. Right underneath the data one. Do that 3x. The scroll down to advanced menu and scroll to (wipe dalvick cache) do that 3x then go back and install the rom.

I was able to get to the download mode.. I think the problem is with twrp, should I flash new twrp from there or what do u all suggest... help please

If you're wiping the system, what you're really doing is removing android, and the bootloader, if im not wrong. Did you wipe data, cache, dalvik, system and then flash the rom? Or how was the order. If it was as I said there should be no problem, try reflashing the rom.

Flash a new TWRP from the Bootloader, reboot into TWRP, sideload a ROM. You DID erase /system, like he was trying to tell you, in all likelihood. Doing so erases the entire Android OS.

I normally wipe /System anytime I switch ROM's, too, but TWRP has done some funny things lately, and if you wiped it accidentally AFTER installing the ROM, or didn't quite install one just after, that may have done the trick
So I decided to flash slim 4.4 on my d800 and it failed using twrp 2.6.3.2(?). I had the options for home, reboot system and something else. I elected to reflash the ROM that I'd been using, as I was hesitant to reboot system knowing that a flash had just failed. My question is, if I had chosen to just reboot system, would it have rebooted to the ROM I had been using prior to attempting to flash? Noob question for sure, but this was my first failed attempt at flashing. Thanks.

Best thing to always do in that situation is to just restore your BU and try redownloading the ROM. Or wipe and flash something else(working obv lol). Sounds like a bad DL to me

Ok so lately I have noticed that my Phone is taking way to long to boot. When a normal l7 would normal boot the phone, it should got the the LG logo for about 10 sec and then after that it should go to(in this case the Carbon fiber boot animation) for about 30 sec +
But the problem is with my phone the LG logo takes 2min + till it moves to the Carbon fiber boot animation then about 1 min for the boot of the carbon OS (P.S just a side note, it did it with slim bean and CM and still no luck)
I have also used CWM to clear/F reset everything, but it has not made a difference.
Could anyone help me out here?
Is there a bootloader or kernel i need to flash to fix this? or is it because my CWM may be outdated(Shouldent matter) and again I may of missed somthing in CWM so still point out the basics <--These are just ideas
On another side note the phone is a
-p705
-32GB Micro SD card in it
- cwm 6.0.2.8
-Kernel: 3.4.4--Cr3pT-OC [email protected] #1 Sat Feb 8 04:34:03 EET 2014
-(If any more info is needed, just ask)
Link to carbon ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2638321
See if it boots quicker without your microsd card, if it does, then there's your problem. There's a lot of fake/faulty cards being sold on the net.
Otherwise, the LG logo shouldn't be there for 2 min, reflash stock via KDZ.

I have just done that and there has been no change in the LG logo time(bootloader) but once it gets to the room logo it's much faster. But still slow on the first half

how??
Do you have CWM6.0.4.9????
I can't now provide you a link, but type on youtube "LG L7 (root, bootloader,CWM"
Then in description is a link.
Download it and flash it with KDZ.
That is rom for P700 with root, unlocked bootloader and CWM.
Then flash CWM6.0.4.9 for P705
Than download idk cyanhacker or cm11 by imer choose. . bit take care that ypu use rom for P705
Then in updater-script change from P705 to P700,because that (((p700 kdz rom)))
Flash rom, and that's it.
Here is an instructions to flash
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache
Mount system
Format system
Wipe dalvik-cacje
Flash rom
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik cache
Flash GAPPS

Wipe dalvik cavhe
