[2 Qs] OpenDelta & Japanese IME - Omni Q&A

Hi, I've just installed Omnirom (+Micro PA-Gapp) on my i9100 for the first time, and I've noticed that Japanese IME has been installed by default. How do I remove this?
And also, I've noticed that OpenDelta Update Service is running continuously in the background, even with auto-update being disabled. How do I stop this service from starting up during boot?

Delete /system/app/OpenWnn.apk in order to remove Japanese IME or disable it under App settings. I recommend using Titanium Backup.
You can either remove OpenDelta's autostart entry using apps like Startup Manager or disable it's service using apps like Disable Service. The first method is recommended as it doesn't require root and is harmless compared to the second one.

[TIP] Freeze Bloat without TB

Just thought i share something I found while playing with stock App Manager and TB. I like to stay stock and just freeze the bloat and as we all know that's why we all buy TB . I only found this after using TB to freeze and saw the apps at the bottom of the Ap Manager list as disabled and when I clicked saw the enable button.
So if your cheap and don't want to buy TB the stock App Manager found in settings can disable bloat on its own without the need for TB. Just go to the app you want to disable uninstall the update it may have and the button will change from Uninstall to Disable/Enable.
I know most here propabley already know this but can't hurt to share:laugh:

I believe this is a feature already existing in stock kernels. Its what helps you save your battery when you aren't doing anything.

Yes to a certain extent, but if you monitor the system with wakelock, and a cpu monitor, it still fluctuates quite a bit, freezing system wakes is a whole other mission on its own, if you want your syncs and stuff still to work in the background.
Anybody manage to pull this of with tasker/other apps?
Edit: Kernel Tuner plug in + Tasker is the answer, just use a "A1 cpu tool" or "cpu spy plus" since they keep logging even when your phone sleeps

Nice list mate, but Airpush Detector is pointless for S4 mini, because the S4 mini use 4.2.2
And Button LED does not support S4 mini

[Q] App broke all my auto runs at startup any app that I can repair this?

I have auto run at startup these major apps.
JuiceDefender Beta
Ring Scheduler

Since I installed which I have removed Wondershare MobileGo it terminated all my startup apps now I can not longer get any of them to start! Is there an app that I can restore or fix this functionality?
Uninstall and re download?

First thing I tried.. I think the app somehow disabled them from running at startup so I need something to restore these blocked apps from running at startup.

[Q] S Heatlth App malfunctioning after Rooting & Bloatware elimination

Long story short: Coming close to insanity from all notifications (but not wanting to miss e-mail and sms/whatsapp, I rooted my G900FXXU1ANG2 in order to use NotifyClean.
I, hence, also installed the Xposed framework. Subsequently, installed NoBloat and backed up and deleted a number of System apps.
Much to my demise, however, one of my favorite apps, S Health now malfunctions popping an "Unfortunately, S HealthService has stopped".
I have restored just about everything I have had backed up and deleted except for fonts, weather stuff and print services.
Still can't get the app back to it's original state. The best I have managed to achieve is to have the app run but unable to save my (profile) data (which renders the app rather useless).
I have also tried setting the app back to its original state (uninstall updates + force stop) and updating it again from Samsung.
Alas, no dice.
Can anyone help?

It's due to an incompatibility with Xposed framework. Search xda forum and you will find the work around solution (don't remember where I read it). But there is a solution!

[Q] Unable to uninstall Wakelock Detector

TL;DR Google Play has only the Open option and no way to uninstall app
After updating my I337M from rooted NI2 Kit Kat to rooted OC4 Lollipop, I was unable to properly run Wakelock Detector. It was stock to stock so I didn't wipe factory settings.
Googled a suggestion to move the APK to /system/priv-app so I did that but still the same result.
Now when I want to try uninstall (so as to re-install) there is no option. Under Manage Apps the app isn't even listed. The APK is still under priv-app and I deleted it... still shows up in app drawer.
D'Oh! What else can I do to uninstall it properly?

i have the same problem
so ticked off. same here. even paid for the full version because sometimes that fixes issues like this. I can disable or freeze with titanium backup pro but can't uninstall. i think the problems happened after converting to system app. so now I have 2 frozen apps I want off my phone. On top of that the app stopped working after converting to system app. I get an error after the app loads. I emailed the developer and am waiting to hear back.
This days the application App2SD is able correct install Wakelock Detector as private , and it is able to uninstall it if it was installed as private .
