Long story short: Coming close to insanity from all notifications (but not wanting to miss e-mail and sms/whatsapp, I rooted my G900FXXU1ANG2 in order to use NotifyClean.
I, hence, also installed the Xposed framework. Subsequently, installed NoBloat and backed up and deleted a number of System apps.
Much to my demise, however, one of my favorite apps, S Health now malfunctions popping an "Unfortunately, S HealthService has stopped".
I have restored just about everything I have had backed up and deleted except for fonts, weather stuff and print services.
Still can't get the app back to it's original state. The best I have managed to achieve is to have the app run but unable to save my (profile) data (which renders the app rather useless).
I have also tried setting the app back to its original state (uninstall updates + force stop) and updating it again from Samsung.
Alas, no dice.
Can anyone help?

It's due to an incompatibility with Xposed framework. Search xda forum and you will find the work around solution (don't remember where I read it). But there is a solution!

I have tnt lite running on my tablet, and went through the full instructions on the guide on this forum of installing it and the marketplace and flash fixes. However I never got the full marketplace on my tablet (no angry birds, lots of apps missing). I also would often get an error every so often about the Google Framework Services having and error, and recently my tablet would reboot often while i was browsing. Then flash started having issues of not loading sometimes, etc. So what I did was I redownloaded titanium backup, installed it, force closed Google Framework Services and Market, went into titanium and wiped data for Google Framework Services and Market and then tried to open the market and got the error. I then rebooted the device and I tried to access market. At first it wasnt opening so i rebooted again and then it started working, however it still isnt the full marketplace. Also randomly the Google Framework Services error came up again. How can I get the full marketplace working? Would you recommend that I backup this rom and just reflash with the 2.2.1 tnt and start over again? I dont have much data on it and can start from scratch easily.
Ok so I have gotten rid of the Framework error and stability issues. I did a factory reset which seemed to have cured a lot of those issues. However I still dont have the full andriod market. I followed the steps again but I keep getting a limited version of the market with barely any apps. Is there something else I need to do to get this working better? I have heard of people getting the full market with angry birds, etc on it, so I know it can be done..
Some of the roms, sepcifically the Vega one, I wasnt able to get the market to work on correctly. I finally did by doing a factory reset, installing Cyanogen mod, Cyanogen gapp pack, and than flashing the Vega one over it without a reset.. and then the usual market fix. And it finally worked. There has to be a better more reliable way though. (From my understanding, it should work out of the box with Vega since it uses the release key instead of the test key in build.prop. But it does. )
I don't think the "fix" has given *anyone* completely full market, has it?
I've done the fix on TNT Lite, newest release, and newest VEGAN and I am still missing apps here and there.

I seemingly have access to the full market. I applied the fix referenced on the TNT tutorial page:
Setting / Applications / Manage Applications / Running / "Clear cache"; then "Force stop"
Then go up to Google Services Framework and "Force stop"
Open Titanium Backup; click on "Backup/Restore" and scroll to Google Services Framework 2.2.1 - and "Wipe data"
Go back to Home and launch Market. You should receive an error message (if not, repeat steps above).
Reboot and you should be good to go.
I also installed the latest update to the market (via update.zip) referenced here
A short (shaky cam) view showing the new market here.

Correct, to the best of my knowledge, even with a good build fingerprint in build.prop (now pre-done for you in Vegan ROM) and after applying Market Fix, we still seem to be lacking a few apps here and there from Market. Perhaps 2-5% of the apps in Market are still missing. Off the top of my head, Pocket Legends, Tank Hero, one of the MAME ports are known to be still missing. Some other minor apps.
CyanogenMod is the only ROM that apparently doesn't have this issue, though I haven't tried it to verify that for myself.
Hi guys,
I just recently bought a HTC Desire HD and have been enjoying it very much.... I have rooted and S-off, but have yet to install recovery clockwork ....
That aside, yesterday I started moving some stock app files to a folder on the sd card (so I can remove it from my phone, plus back it up just in case) with root explorer (r/w mounted), I didn't move the HtcLocationService.apk. All went ok...
But just this morning I noticed my locations icon on my phone's interface has turned into the green android image...meaning the program is gone! It cannot be found in my programs at all.
I have tried to do the "reinstall locations" in the settings, but it says "unable to find an activity to handle this action", and I've tried to go straight to the HtcLocationService.apk to install it (not even sure if it is the right application) and it says "application not installed".
I am really stumped, and would like Locations back on my DHD!!
Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks in advance
What stock apps did you uninstall? Some apps are bound to eachother. Locations is probably bound to navigation or footprints or maybe another app. So if you uninstalled that, that could be the cause.
If it's really gone, then probably the only way to reinstall it is installing the stock ROM again (or a custom one). You probably can't install it again because locations needs some other stock app (if my hypothesis are right).
I took out stuff like friendstream, Plurk, Twitter, FieldTest, Flickr, HTC_IME, EasyCard, Laputa, KKBOX, plus phone provider apps (since I'm with TaiwanMobile, myfone) so TWM_City/Market/Movie/Music etc....
I've since moved the files back into system>apps, but it hasn't changed anything....is there any possibility I could get Locations back???
I can't think of an idea to reinstall Locations that easy. You can just install the official ROM again. You don't even have to be rooted then.
Have a look at this thread. If you deleted .apk files of the 2 lowest lists, then you could try to reinstall them first. Otherwise I don't know. maybe someone else.
I would have reinstalled the official ROM again. Just to make sure everything works correctly again. (and then start over removing apps :') ).
But maybe someone else knows a better solution
Thanks for you quick reply!
Can you point me to a thread that would explain the process of installing an official rom (where i would download the rom, etc)? Plus is there a way I can back up all my games, apps and settings, so I don't have to reinstall every app and game again?
would a Factory reset help? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm hoping I get this resolved
First of all: I found this thead for installing system .apk's. Maybe that can help. But it seems pretty comlicated .

A factory reset should restore everything, (ofcourse I was tthinking to complicated :') ).
All apps you installed from the market will be reinstalled if you login with you google account again. It can take a while. It also remembers wich apps you bought. It won't however save any data (like saves for games).
For other apps (and all apps if you want to backup the data), you could download titanium backup (also available in the market). Keep in mind though that for restoring any backups made with this app, you need root acces again.
The facotry reset will remove your personal data. Only your sdcard and simcard will keep their info.
I hope all is clear what I told . So no ROM download needed. :')
Let us know if it has worked
Hey again,
I just factory reset my phone, using settings. Locations has not been restored , also some gadgets was not working (may be the widgets I have removed before). The front page weather animation is gone! Only the time left...(how would I get that back?)
Any other suggestions will be appreciated!
go to locations in settings... u will find a tab "reinstall locaton" make sure u r on wifi...and it will install it back...it happnd with me and got it back instantly
OK. So, I recently installed the KK 4.4.2 update on a stock rom. One of the things I've found (so far) that I hate the most about it is the stupid Goggle Now swipe up gesture. I use Auto Hide Soft Keys. With this new feature, I can't use it anymore. I have searched and searched, tried and tried to find the right solution. What I did last night was, I installed the xposed framework and the G2 Tweaks app. Played around with it for a bit. Made a few changes, not many. After reboot, I started getting popups that my LG keyboard stopped unexpectantly. I was unable to use it all. Using Titanium Backup, I froze the xposed framework app, the G2 Tweaks app and the LG keyboard (after it still wouldn't work for me). Had to go and download the swiftkey keyboard (which I hate) as a temporary workaround. So what I need to know is, 1: How do I fix my stock keyboard so that it won't force close? 2: What is the best option to completely eliminate that stupid Google Now BS? 3: Another issue I have discovered is that every time I turn my data off (which is all the time), I get a pesky voicemail notification that my data service is N/A and can't sync visual voicemail. How do I stop this? Is there a way without completely disableing my voicemail app? Please help! Thanks.
hi
you should have a "xposed disabler.zip" on your sd card. ..flash it and wipe caches

I have used ROM Toolbox and other apps that give the option to either "freeze" or "delete" system apps. I understand that the main reason to freeze is so you can bring it back if it causes instability.
Obviously deleting opens up space, giving you more available. Other than that, is choosing between freezing or deleting the same as far as performance? I know I might use ROM Toolbox to freeze an app, but looking at it in System App Remover Pro by Jumble still shows those apps as it they are still there - although they are frozen.
The reason I ask is that I am still using about 80% of ram all of the time. I have extensively frozen apps, but have tried to avoid full deletes.
I am on muniz_ri method of installing lollipop: "[How-To] Update to G900VVRU1BOA8 5.0 & KeepRoot (2/3/2015)"
Thank you!
TL;DR Google Play has only the Open option and no way to uninstall app
After updating my I337M from rooted NI2 Kit Kat to rooted OC4 Lollipop, I was unable to properly run Wakelock Detector. It was stock to stock so I didn't wipe factory settings.
Googled a suggestion to move the APK to /system/priv-app so I did that but still the same result.
Now when I want to try uninstall (so as to re-install) there is no option. Under Manage Apps the app isn't even listed. The APK is still under priv-app and I deleted it... still shows up in app drawer.
D'Oh! What else can I do to uninstall it properly?
Sent from my SGH-I337M using XDA Free mobile app
i have the same problem
so ticked off. same here. even paid for the full version because sometimes that fixes issues like this. I can disable or freeze with titanium backup pro but can't uninstall. i think the problems happened after converting to system app. so now I have 2 frozen apps I want off my phone. On top of that the app stopped working after converting to system app. I get an error after the app loads. I emailed the developer and am waiting to hear back.
This days the application App2SD is able correct install Wakelock Detector as private , and it is able to uninstall it if it was installed as private .
