The stock battery is only 1300 mAh - You can buy a after market with 1750 mAh which I bought for my Imagio and it works fine. Bought from Seidio online
Part# is BAS117HHRV - It's not red tho
Where can you find the red one ? ?

So, can we confirm the Imagio battery works in the Incredible? If so, I'm golden as I have three batteries for the Imagio.
Sorry for the late replay, been playing with the new phone Yes the Imagio Battery fits fine with the Incredible. Back cover snaps in - can't tell a difference until you take the cover off.

Have they set a price yet ?? Haven't seen you post since the xv6800 days.
Linkified!
How much more uptime will a battery give you?
Since 1750 mAh is about 35% more than 1300 mAh, can you say that it will last you about 35% longer? I am trying to see if it is worth it.

Doesn't the 1500mah battery from the Sprint Hero work? That could be a low cost alternative.
I went ahead and bought it. I'll post impressions when it's recieved.

Yikes .
Anyone know how much larger/heavier the 2150mAh battery would make the Incredible? I'm trying to decide whether to go for the stock-size battery linked in this thread or not... just got my Incredible and love it but want more battery! Also... WHEN?

Im getting roughly 2 days out of a full battery. I am amazed by that as thats quite a lot of usage too. My HTC HD2 with less usage would last 24 hours if I was lucky.
yea, battery life is pretty good. 2days is about right. ive watched youtube vids/podcasts via feedr, web browsing/text/talk, couple of tv shows via rockplayer and from full charge get about 2days give or take an hr
yep same here just over 2 days for me comming from a TP2 and getting aboult 12 hrs from it, i am not used to this not charging every day
Thanks for the responses I can't wait to get my hands on this phone!!! (if its on tmo usa lol). The fact that I can go two days without charging is amazing to me maybe it's an HTC issue. G1, Mytouch, N1, and some one mentioned HD2 all having battery issues all are made by HTC....
Found a very informative article on androidpolice. The author goes into great detail about smartphone batteries, his findings, and some great recommendations for how to charge your battery. Check it out. http://www.androidpolice.com/2010/12/14/your-battery-gauge-is-lying-to-you-everything-you-need-to-know-about-bump-charging-and-inconsistent-battery-drain/

I read the whole thing, and this is what i got as a conclusion, quoted from article.
If you absolutely need the highest capacity on a device like this, you will need to bump charge. There are currently people experimenting with "fixes" for this, but I have yet to see one that works. Be warned, however, that repeated bump charging will wear your battery faster and begin to reduce its capacity.

He tells us to bump charge if we need to get higher battery, but says that it can hurt our battery life.
Basically to me it gave proof to my assumption that we're not gonna get much more from these batteries. I posted it because there's question after question asking about the battery life. This should give some insight to some. With 1ghz cpus and hardware that rivals a low end netbook with a battery that's tiny compared to one, we should be happy to be getting a full days use out of them. That's just my opinion tho.

Hey, more people complaining = pushes the companies to try new ideas.
It's the way the world works.
1 company makes a great battery, another one makes a bit better then the other makes it better and so on...
As Consumers, we shall always want more
As Humans, we shall always want more.
It debunks the odd advice given here to always let your phone drain out before charging it.
Im one of those people who keeps my phone on a charger whenever I can.
Also debunks the supposed need to calibrate batteries in phones.

totally, deep cycling is bad for Li-Ion batteries. The calibration on the other hand I don't know. The article did talk about about having the battery meter catch up to reality. Maybe reconditioning the battery helps the meter do that faster? I doubt it, but you never know I guess.

No, it wasn't
a Conculsion in a instructional article is where you tell people to do "THIS" whereas that author isn't doing anything but saying do this and then goes on telling us the bad things about doing that.
WTF is the point of telling us a good thing, only to know that it leads up to screwing up your battery?

Your powers of deduction are lame. There's obviously tradeoffs with the bump technique,as he points out.
We all love portable devices because they provide flexibility. Ironically most of the time they are being used as desktop devices and are plugged in all the time.
This is potentially a problem because batteries wear off much more faster if they are not being used enough.
There are some hints for protecting your battery:
1- Use it only when you need to
2-Don't let it get hot!!
3-Don't store it with out some charge (I think about 75% is suggested)

Nobody have a Samsung Galaxy S4 yet, so it's a bit early to talk about battery optimization specific to this model.
If you search XDA and The Internet you will find a lot of threads talking giving general advises about battery

I agree with you,and for me,I generally charge the phone when it reminds me low battery rather than charge it until it has no battery.
Yeah, the batteries only last for around 1000 full charge cycles and cost a MASSIVE $20 to replace.
I'm thinking I'll only use my phone twice a day for 5 minutes and only ever discharge the battery to 25% and only ever charge it to 75!,!!

$6 anker. Useless thread. Drama!
i dont care about the battery if you have 800$ to buy one of these phones then sou have 50$ for an battery pack too.
BTW Its the same with apps i know 3 people who buyed an sgs 3 but dont want to spend on apps.
Upstairs in my room with good reception I get one hour of sot time per 10% used (Using taptalk and Twitter).
Downstairs where the poor reception is, i get 1 hour of screen on time per 20% used. Same usage.
This is crazy, I never knew reception had such an impact on battery life. Its dumb founding. Sadly i spend most of my time downstairs thus I probably will get subpar batter. Crazyyy[emoji41]
