Can you reach cwm? And do you have a Linux machine?
There are some tutorials to recover from that point.

While it said, the installation automatically sets boot to 2ndinit, i had to do that manually. After switching on the phone, the led first goes to blue before red. Press volume down then, enter boot and select default boot to 2ndinit, and reboot. It should work this way but on my green lens defy it goes to the motorola logo for some time and after that comes the reboot. At least not blank screen.:good: But having it plugged to a computer, it says MB526, so something does work, but then something goes wrong...
solve problem

I am waiting for the red led, but after some ten minutes i am getting bored... a progress indicator would be great, because now i think, it just hanged.
Mine have exactly problem like this too.
Please help.
I have Defy MB525 Green Lens . I'm not sure which bootloader do I have. But my base SBF is CEE Froyo 2.2. I was performing upgrade from CM7 WhiteRabbit 1.7 to CM10 2nd-boot 21 Oct.
What should I do?
Thank you

Hey, I managed to boot up the 2nd boot built successfully.
1. Wipe Data
2. Flash Froyo signed kernel from http://defy.wdscript.fr/kernel/
3. Flash CM10-20121018-NIGHTLY-mb526.zip
4. Flash update_for_18.10.zip
5. Flash Google Apps
6. Wipe Data again for sure
7. Reboot
Done!

Thanks, i tried, i failed. :crying: The interesting part is that the last non-2ndboot version does not work on my phone either. Only the 0912.
I apologize in advance for my English. I have a problem with my Motorola Milestone 2. After installing CM7 something went wrong. When I start the phone, it shows up for a few seconds the red motorola logo and disappears (there is a black screen). I can not go into recovery. I can't charge battery. Can anyone help me?

If you see the red moto logo, you are on the new gb kernel.
To install cm7 Froyo Kernel based, you need to do a downgrade method. Read this:

Hi. I think I bricked my phone...... All I get now is Black screen, nothing happens when I try to start the Bootloader , and also nothing happens when I try to start the hard reset (holding the volume + and power button) ... All i get is a black screen , my phone is recognized by the RTD Lite, I tried flashing stock software but I still get the same Black screen , and the thing is that I also get a white LED when i connect it to RTD Lite , after I finish my flashing ( I tried many stock softwares) the RTD says that the phone is rebooting but the screen just turns off and remains black , that's it..... I tried removing the battery and such, I have 2 batteries both of them are fully charged... I have all the drivers installed on my pc , I think that how this happened is I flashed by mistake a DEFY + stock soft... is there and hope ??
Thank you.

Before I bricked my phone , I think I flashed a SBF for Defy+ ......
is there still any hope ?
Looks like you're trying to flash an sbf with a bootloader version lower than the one you had. Flash the DFP 231 CEE sbf as suggested above. That should work.
Root it and flash one of the custom kernel builds. Hope this helps.

Hi,
Yesterday my ZTE Blade dropped from +/- 1 meter/3feet.
I put the battery back in and the screen lit up. It was black with one small line of color from the top to the bottom.
Today i disassemble the blade and checked all the connection cables. Even tried to link up with my PC (and it works)
Can you help me find the problem? Is it repairable by myself? Do i have to change the screen?

The screen is only lighting up, so it stays black and i cant see if i'm in recovery or not.
And if you can explain how i can do it "blind" from a pc, how can a software update fix it? Can there be software problems after a drop? I thought only hardware (broken)
