Lenovo S2110 Serial number and support - Thinkpad Tablet General

Just as the root guide this is in the wrong place, but we will have to make due until we get a dedicated forum
I have had my s2110 for a little over a week now and the back (main) camera has stopped working I contacted Lenovo support and no one seemed to be able to determine what exactly device I had.
There is no serial number in the about tablet section, but there is in the Lenovo registration app. However the SN in the registration app is not recognized by whatever system Lenovo uses to determine exactly what device you have.
From what I am able to tell the only place that has the correct SN and device info is on a sticker the back of the box, so if you throw away your box Lenovo support will not be able to determine what device you have and well not be able to help you.
I wanted to make sure I posted this so no one gets in a spot where they don’t have their SN and need support

PROVANTAGE says the part number for the whole tablet is "2258A4U". Does that help? I would post a link if i could, just google in the part number i gave you and the tablet should come up.

Pharos + Blackberry Connect = weird problem

Hi there.
I spotted something REALLY awkward today while trying to handle this problem with my service provider, where i keep getting PIN: PENDING, with Blackberry connect.
My provider finally asked me to give him my IMEI number so he can follow up on the matter. I gave him my IMEI number, not paying much attention as i was doing so, directly from the Blackberry Connect app's output. An hour later he calls me back to confirm the number, because it is invalid...
So i checked it out.
In Blackberry Connect, under Identity tab, it read out my IMEI number 2 digits short.
Can anybody confirm or deny that this is just a graphic glitch that the screen isn't wide enough to show the whole number, or is the app actually misreading the IMEI?
If the latter is in fact true, i think i finally coined why Pharos doesn't wanna connect Blackberry properly.
Your responses are highly appreciated.
PS: You can find your full IMEI under Settings --> System --> Device Information --> Identity.
oh crap... Im not paying attention at all!
Seems my device is reporting its own IMEI wrong... as 17 digits instead of 15...
So.. i checked the sticker under the battery on my device, and the last digits, 01, shouldnt be there.
How can i remove em? I think this may be the reason Blackberry isnt working?

Where is my device from?

i have a Touch Diamond 2 but i would like to know where the handset originates from so that i can update it with the relevant ROMS etc. The ROM is 1.39.488.1 but i have no idea where it is from. Is there a website or link that allows you to identify its origin?
Thanks Guys!
I know when I contacted HTC support I had to provide my phone's serial number (available on the box the phone came in or underneath the battery) and they told me which country corresponded to that serial number in their reply. I'm sure if you just went to the support from on htc.com and asked them if they could tell you where your phone is from so you could get the relevant upgrades etc they would. It shouldn't take long for someone to reply either, they got back to me about 15 minutes after I sent my query. Hope this helps.

yes, go to htc official page and enter S.N. for rom download and they will show the appropiate rom for your country , (where the phone was sold)

Problem with my product code!!!!! Help

s4 9505 product code : not active - what does it mean ?
It it related with device problems (forgets wifi passwords, 4g connects but not working, etc)it tell mi that in Phone INFO ★Samsung★ APK.
link google play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.phoneinfo&hl=it
please help!!!!
Sorry for my English.
Post the output from Phone Info. However, a product code of "not active" is a bad sign. Because when you see that, more than likely the IMEI is also gone. Phones like this usually require servicing, though the more experienced members of the forum will correct me if I'm wrong.
Thank's for answering!
This wat i see on the apk!
The imei its there!!
Great, now remove the pic so your IMEI doesn't get cloned. However, that's not all the information Phone Info provides. PDA and CSC information is useful, along with the model number Phone Info reports, compared to what the label beneath the battery says.
I was unlucky wen I bought this phone the first min board was dead won't turn on.
This screen shot it's from the second one bought online on the famous international site and i receive it within label!!!
Can i fix it or not? ??
Thanks

SOFTWARE information
Based upon what you've provided, the firmware you should be using is here. The firmware you have on there is the German DBT firmware, based upon the CSC code in the screenshot.

Moto G4 plus lost/stolen

Hello Guys,
Just need some help from you.
Unfortunately I got my Moto g4 plus stolen yesterday. I want to Lock/block the device in order to prevent the misuse.
Is there any way to do so other than using the Android Device Manager ? as Android Device Manager requires Location and data to be turned on in the device, in order to lock it. And I don't think I had those turned ON on my device.
Any help is really appreciated.
Thanks
Any Suggestions ? Will be happy to hear back from anyone of you..
Thanks
There are few basic steps you can follow if your phone is lost/stolen
block the sim so unwanted calls/messages are not made from your phones
file a complaint in cyber crime so they can track the phone easily ( make sure you have all the bills, imei number & other necessary details )
i hope this basic steps helps you
my motog4+ phone has lost with imei no:354115073105775 please help to trace them

You should be filing a report at the police station in your locality, not ask us for help to trace your phone on XDA.
If you would like to find out where it could be, roughly, you can try using Android Device Manager (search for it, you'll find links you need quicker).
Android device manager would only be useful if the location service and data was turned on in the device, that's what I got to know from Moto Customer Service

Help me identify my device.

Hi guys, i bought a second hand G2 a few days ago, at a very low price, i did not do much research and here i am.
I intend to flash ROMS on it, but the problem is i cant identify the exact model. Here is all that i know, till now.
1. On the outside, this phone screams 'Verizon'.
2. The seller told me his dad bought it from abroad.
3. The 'Verizon' labelling tells that it is from US, but the phone is loaded with shady chinese apps and services.
4. The phone came pre-rooted and still is, even after factory reset.
5. The software info in the about phone section is >> VS980
6. I checked the IMEI shown in settings on imei.info and it told me it was a D800.
7. The IMEI marked on the back cover is different from the one found in software. It is also of a D800
8. I could not access the IMEI on dialling *#06# unknown application.
Help me. This is a mess. Could not figure out anything.
Also, my airtel gsm sim works fine, both call and 3G data. Is this phone network unlocked?
Sounds like a refurbished model. Afaio the only way to be sure is a look at the mainboard. Art Vanderlay has written a couple of things to identify a refurbisged device.

If i know the exact real model, then can i flash this phone or not? Going to open it later today.
