hey guys here are my benchmark scores with quadrant and antutu benchmark. Please share your scores too

Nope, comparing benchmark from on device to another proves nothing and just start flame/troll wars. Locked

Why are my Smartbench scores so low? 941 productivity. It's lower than stock according to the app. Funny thing is, I'm scoring around 2000 in Quadrant. Running Ice with faux's kernal 0.7.7 oc'd to 1.4. Any thoughts?

Quadrant scores are inaccurate.
and 1pt in SmartBench might not equal 1pt Quadrant.
I figured the points aren't 1 for 1, but the score is very low. Quick check of the benchmark thread showed a few others with the same problem, but some are getting great scores. Any suggestions for improving mine?

I really do not go by quadrant scores.
They are inaccurate and no real benefit.
The only reason i use Quadrant is to test a ROM flash to make sure i didn't forget to wipe the Handset.
Stuff like open Applications, Widgets, Launchers, Themes background data all have factors melted into Quadrant Scores.
Hi guys,
Anyone care to share what sort of quadrant and linpack scores they are getting from their blade?
I'm running CM7.1.0 installed via the gen1 to gen2 tpt method.
My quadrant score is 960 and linpack (single thread) is around 9 mflops.
Pretty good score on quadrant for a budget device imo, probably because the graphics are quite good, linpack score exposes the slower cpu though.
Anyone beat those scores?
Yep, without any changes, 990
With some overclock 1100 points.
1445 points in quadrant standard... see attached screenie-

What ROM are you using?!I only get around 850 no OC in quadrant..
Quadrant Benchmark sucks, use ANTUTU, for a proper Benchmark score. And please mention what roms you are using and what frequency is your processor running at.

Even ANTUTU does not give accurate benchmark scores, no mobile benchmark really does. for example users have reported scoring around 200 points for 2D graphics on the galaxy nexus, whereas my ZTE blade scores about 300.
ANTUTU is still more accurate than quadrant.

It's interesting, the only value which change is the 2d/3d graphics

Yes. Wbaw has overclocked the GPU in his kernel.

It doesn't seem to affect the Antutu scores for some reason, I don't know why. You can see it in the UI & 3D games though. Those graphics scores vary on every run anyway & they're worthless, Antutu thinks we have better 2D graphics than the Galaxy Nexus.
The database IO score was a bit higher in mine, I think thats because of the ondemand updates & io_is_busy setting.
My kernel is based on Burstlam's so it's not surprising the scores are similar.

Hmm. But still the scores seem to be pretty high. Maybe because of the overclock. And like you said there is lot of visual improvement in games which Antutu may not calculate accurately.

Is quadrant optimized for quad core tablets? I keep seeing quadrant scores that show phones such as the galaxy s2 and any snapdragon s4 phone. Is our processor just not as fast as the others? Or is tegra 3 not optimized? I know that tegra is great for gaming, but is it as fast as some of the other processors on the market? Thanks

This is the worst of the Tegra3's, still good VFM for 160-200

Yeah. So would it be safe to overclock to the full 1.5 ghz? Thanks
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Quadrant scores aren't really consistent as I've had one test give me 5200 and then a second run giving me 4400 without changing anything. Antutu seems to be more consistent with scores and since the benchmark runs longer, it gives a more accurate result.

Cool. Would an overclock improve performance that much?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah you should see improvement in applications with overclocks. Here is my highest in quadrant so far with _motley 1.0.11 @ 1.7ghz. The version is unstable as a lot of people have reported issues. However, 1.0.10 is pretty good. There are also other kernels in the dev section that are overclocked and should benefit you from the stock kernel.

1.6 GHz:
Cool. Is it safe to overclock to that high? I am thinking 1.4-1.5 ghz

Quadrant never has been to reliable. As I and a few of my buddies have learned, quadrant scores don't mean anything. I have found that cf-bench is quite significantly more accurate and reliable

Thanks. Any overheating with overclock issues
Before the flame bear with me. I usually have my phone under clocked and undervolted but one thing was always annoying me was when I would benchmark I could never get anywhere near the top scores. Well after a few moths I can post my benchmark score.

This score was achieved on cm10 siyah kernel 1800mhz GPU 700mhz i/o vr Pegasus governor .
Anyways pointless but finally managed to get close to the top scores.

Benchmark threads are pointless. And there are threads already to post your benchmark scores. It didn't warrant a new thread

That's great. It seems they're using the newest Mali GPU drivers in 4.3
4.1 gives only 46-48 avg fps in epic citadel.
