Hello guys, I bought a tf300 few weeks ago in USA and after a few days it touch screen suddenly stopped working. I've tried cold reboot, factory reset, data wipe, fw update and battery drain method but none of them worked.... today the touchscreen started working again for like 5secs and it stopped. ASUS warranty it's not available in my country, there's no way i can get a replacement so I have a question. Will a reflash possibly make it work again? I don't care for warranty void so if you guys have any solution for me I would really appreciate. Thanks!

Dear All;
I found a very strange problem for my Dopod 838 pro, it started from two days ago, when I fully charged the battery overnight, my touch screen is working as normal, but say run after a hour, the touch screen start to not working, sometime it can be resume by power off and on. I'd tried to factory restore but still not working. Do your guys have such experience for that. Please share.
Cheers;

If this is not solved by a HARD RESET then get it back under warranty. there are other reported cases of this some folks only get 10 minutes before it happens. Many believe it's caused by expansion due to the device getting warm/hot.
I would do a hard reset (soft reset not sufficient) and then really put it through it's paces over prolonged times and if it repeats, return the device - as it's most likely a hardware problem.

Hi,
The touch screen of my 2 months old Galaxy S suddenly stop responding.
It was all good, after I woke up yesterday morning, I could't unlock the screen. Then I took the battery out to restart it, but didn't solve the problem.
I tried several ways ( restart, flashed ) none of them works.
Anyone can help me with this problem? What course that?
Thank you
I bought the Tegra note 7 (XOLO India) yesterday and as soon as I switched it on I got the OTA update notification and updated it successfully to Android 5.1. From the time I booted into the new version I have been plagued by touchscreen issues, the tablet responds to touch for a while and then would stop responding but will respond to stylus and switching off the screen and switching it back on would make touch responsive for a few seconds and then again it becomes irresponsive and occasionally it doesn't respond to stylus as well, did a factory reset, rebooted it number of times and finally came across this forum.
Is this a faulty device or is there any hope for me, I bought this tablet to buy games and I can't play any of them as suddenly the touchscreen would go crazy and my character would die :crying:
As another user posted that it happens in his/her device with the flip cover, I don't have the flip cover at all.
Would rooting help, I was thinking of rooting the device and downgrading it, as there was a fix for touchscreen error posted for Android 4.4.2 but after I read that rooting voids warranty I decided to check with you guys before I did anything crazy.
Thank you in advance,
Solved?
To anyone who is facing the same problem and those who are interested, I followed the suggestions from this thread and calibrated my battery and the issue seemed to have completely gone. I put the tablet for charging once it was nearing 10% overnight and the next day unplugged it and started using it and the full ady even after heavy usage the problem never showed up, the screen is 100% touch responsive and the entire experience was 'buttery' smooth. There's one more thing that I did, I installed activitylauncher and set max performance in Nvcontrolpanel.
Hello,
I have bought this phone new from about 2 months ago. Everything was going smoothly but suddenly last week the phone began to reboot while I'm using it by itself. This happened for 2 days straight then it stopped also by itself. Then I noticed that my display screen isn't being covered completely. The curved screen is not fully used like if I'm using a straight display screen. Idk if this is a hardware or a software problem. Please advise if anyone has had this problem before.
Thanks.
Never had the problem, but your best bet is to try a factory reset. If that doesn't work, I'd exchange the phone.
Hi,
I recently imported a global version Xiaomi mi A1, which had been working perfectly until yesterday.
I was on a trip for the weekend, and the phone was off most of the time as I had forgotten then charger. This issue because apparent yesterday when I arrived home.
The touchscreen has become totally unresponsive. If I reboot the phone by holding the power button it works if I use it immediately, but if I don't use it straight away, or lock the phone/let it go to sleep it doesn't work at all.
I have tried factory reset and safe mode, neither of which helped.
I have contacted the seller, who so far is just asking my silly questions.
I am not particularly technically skilled, but any advice would be appreciated!
Same Problem
Did you solve the problem? I have the same problem.
