After freezing my device I tried to open but not opened then I tried to make soft reset again it didnt open then I tried hard reset but the normal menu didnt come instead the menu which is attached appear and telling something serial but not doing hard set now I dont know what I must do Please help

hold down volume up and volume down
tap and release power
keep holding both volume buttons down....
I think whats happening is that your only holding the volume down.
Try taking your battery cover off to get a better press and making sure that up and down are held, then tap the power button.........

Thanks for explanation but it is stilll not working and in addition today for solving this problem I tried to reinstall rom using cd card this case it is waiting at the (loading ) stage I dont know how can I solve this problem

nothing only I have re install sprite and rim backups (whic I had before) it started normally and while working freezed I closed and not opened it is staying and wait at (HTC guietly brillant ) stage

My friend, if the phone starts at all you definitely should be able to do HARD RESET.
You are probably not doing well the hard reset. You cannot destroy bootloader with backup programs.
You should :
-hold pressed volume up and volume down buttons
-tap and release power button
-keep holding both volume buttons down for several more seconds until three color screen appears and shortly after that a message will appear on lite blue screen. Then release both volume buttons. Then press volume up button, usually it is necessary to press it once again. System restoring bar will begin to raise up to 100%. After that pres again volume up and system will restart.
By the way your initial rom is 1.66 but on the pictures is 1.48. So you did pictures after you flashed it. Also noted that you have flashed HSPL.
Suggest to download your initial original rom and install it from the memory card. Not sure but may be downgrade of the rom is not possible from 1.66 to 1.44.

I can get the bootloader but it keeps showing "serial" even after connecting it to to the computer.
the "usb" does not come and i cannot update the rom
currently i'm using hyperdroid GBX v11 which is working fine (just one problem that it shows blank screen after a call ends and no display till another call comes) please help

If you are 100% sure your stock rom is correct. rename the .nbh file to LEOIMG.NBH, put it on the root of your SD card, and boot into bootloader, it will flash.
IF YOU ARE UNSURE IF YOUR STOCK IS CORRECT POST HERE FIRST OR YOU MAY BRICK YOUR PHONE,
better to look noob than to brick, there are too many versions of this phone to mess around here.

i cant say for certain whether yours is the same as the situation i had, but my original hd2 wouldnt boot and would only show a white screen with the green HTC and none of the rom/radio info in red in the bottom corner..it ended up being toast and had to be replaced under warrenty. not saying yours is, but thats what happened with mine.

Wrong rom? Probably - wrong radio... Congrats! You bought a nice paperweight.
I had the same a week ago. I had my phone for just 2 hours, then it suddenly stopped working when I restarted it. My HD2 wouldn't boot and did only show the white screen with HTC logo. I tried to do a hard/soft reset, and I even updated the rom, but nothing worked. I't happened because I was removing a app in the Windows Mobile Device centre and it crashed. My phone is now in repair.

Had the same prob with op and kept sticking at white logo htc and didn't progress any further. Just do that guide and phone will return back to normal.

Download from HTC site the original ROM from you phone using the serila number under the battery. Unzip it in some directory. Rename the file RUU_signed.nbh to LEOIMG.nbh. Put the SD card from your phone in the computer, format it to FAT32 and copy LEOIMG.nbh file to the rot directory of SD card. Put the card back in phone (phone should be switched off). Then put phone in boot loader: push and hold VOLUME DOWN button and push for short the POWER button, keep holding VOLUME DOWN button until bootloader starts (4 colors screen). Follow the instructions on screen. The phone will be flashed with the original SPL, ROM & Radio from the file LEOIMG.nbh on SD card.
After that it should work normally. After flashing perform hard reset.
Note that battery should be well charged before flashing.
If above does not work your phone probably has hardware defect which could be rectified only in service by changing of some PCB inside. I had similar problem but not related to flashing and service changed power PCB (on warranty).

You know - English is not my native so can you please be more specific - what do you mean by emulr - emulator or anything else?
Anyway - open the battery rear cover, find the Reset (bottom left), press and hold Volume down and push reset with a stylus or pen or whatever, holding Volume down. It will try to enter to bootloader mode. Do not release Volume down until the three-color picture will appear on screen.
Read what you see and write down here....

If you can see the HTC logo your device isn't bricked.
This means that SPL is still alive and working. You only need to enter bootloader mode and flash a FULL RUU.

When I first started reading posts in this thread i thought you had some hope, but now, your device is officially bricked
Send it in for repair, even without warranty . You have to, unless you know how to fix it. Sorry
I've searched the forums and have not been able to anything that addresses this issue.
I'm running an Android Nand ROM, this is my second Nand. Ran SD versions previously. This issue began with the first Nand and continues with the second.
When the phone boots the lockscreen will function exactly once. If the screen is allowed to go to sleep or put to sleep with the end button, the lockscreen is frozen and requires a battery pull to function again (again, exactly once). Hard buttons continue to work. Hitting the send key will get me into the dialer, and from there the home key will get me to the home screen, but at that point the home screen is frozen.
I don't think it's a battery or mainboard issue, but I could be wrong. Tried to run Task 29 with no luck. Can't connect to PC to flash a windows ROM (thought that formatting SD card might help). Removed the SD card, which did not change anything.
Any help with this issue would be most appreciated
Edit. I discovered that if I use the hard send key it will wake the lockscreen which will then function delivering me to the home screen which also functions properly. Problem appear to be associated with the hard end key only.
Edit 3/19/2011: This is a hardware issue:

I've determined that any hard key other than the end key will wake the lockscreen which will then function properly. It appears that the end key is either worn out or has something going on under the button such as dirt build up or bent connections. Will attempt to disassemble and correct. Will report back after.
Ok here is my sugestions and advice. First try a master/hard reset of your Andriod ROM. To do this cut your HD2 off then press and bold down the power button until the main menu of MAGLDR comes up. Then use the volume up and down buttons to scroll through the options until you see recovery and select it. This will preform a reset of your ROM.
If that does not fix your problem you can try flashing a different Andriod ROM.
If you still have the problem you can preform a task 29 by turning the phone off and putting your phone into bootloader. To do this turn the phone off and hold the volume down button down and tap the power button but continue to hold down the volume down button until you see the muticolor bootloader screen come up. Plug your phone into a computer via USB cable and wait for the Serial in the white bar at the bottom of the phone screen to change to USB. Then run the task 29. By the way unless you flash a Window Mobile ROM via SD card this is the best way to flash a Windows Mobile ROM, HSPL, MAGLDR, or run task 29.
Once you ha e run a task 29 (or not it is your decission) you can either reflash MAGLDR and flash a Andriod ROM again (Not sure if you will have to reflash MAGLDR or not after you run task 29 so check and see if you still have it by powering off and holding the power button down.) Or you can flash a Windows Mobile ROM by the above steps to put it in bootloader and flashing. Or you can use ASDa card to flash a Windows Mobile ROM. If you use this method and flash a official ROM it will revert your SPL back to stock and you will lose MAGLDR, if you flash a official ROM via USB you will lose MAGLDR but not nessaraly HSPL, you will just have to go into bootloader to check that. Anyway use a 4GB or smaller SD card and make sure it is formated with Fat 32 and then download a Windows Mobile ROM. If the ROM shows up as a .exe when you extract it from the zip file then rename the .exe to .zip and right click the file if it is not a .exe then just right click it. When you right click the file it will pop up a box with options select view or explore wich ever one you see and look for the file with .nbh at the end and rename it to leoimg.nbh. then copy the file to the SD card and insert the SD card in your pbone. put your phone into bootloader but keep the volume down button held down until you see searching on your phone screen and then release the volume down button and the ROM will flash.

I have the same problem with the hard end key for about 2 weeks. Now it's not working with all hard keys.
Forgive me for probably relatively simple questions, but my last involvement on here was the development of WM5 for the HTC Blue Angel! So quite some years ago...
I've found a wildfire in the local park a fortnight or so ago. I tried to make an attempt to find its owner, but the device is locked out (asking for email/password) and there is no SD card or SIM card in it (Guessing someone "obtained" it one way or another, couldn't get into it and threw it away). Anyway, long story short - Police aren't interested, Virgin say the phones likely already been disabled and there's nothing they can do with it - so thats left me with it.
Now when I power it up, it goes straight to a screen that has FASTBOOT highlighted in red. This menu key info shows:
S-ON
HBOOT-1.01.0002
RADIO-3.35.20.10

The power button and volume down buttons don't respond. Tried to do a hard reset, but the buttons don't respond on the other screen either.
Tried to flash with a WWE RUU. It would fail due to Customer ID error but the phone would subsequently boot to the locked screen again. Managed to create a Goldcard (using my Blue Angel none-the-less!) and now RUUs fail due to a bootloader error I think it is.
When running RUU, the version the device is running is: 2.39.775.1
The highest RUU i've found is: RUU_Buzz_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.22.405.1_Radio_13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10_release_160191_signed
It seems a shame to just throw the phone in the bin, but I'm now at a loss what to do.
I've guessed the phones on Virgin, as putting that sim card in when the phone is on the lock screen rather than the white one it shows a different message to any other sim card. I can't find a Virgin RUU though if that would help.
HBoot seems to be the newest one, it is not possible to use Unrevoked to unlock the bootloader, so you either wait till Unrevoked releases a new version with a new exploit, or you find someone with a XTC-clip to S-off your HBoot. (or you buy it yourself)

Is there no way to be able to get the hard reset to work - just to get the device remotely usable?
First take out SIM and memorycard,
1.Switch off phone by removing battery and put battery back in
2.hold the volume down button and press the power on button briefly, with the volume down button held
3.you will now get a screen approx 10 seconds later and with a few options, go to hard reset/factory reset
4.follow options through, this will reset phone to factory settings.
Post if it works or not
h4oxer: I could get to that menu, but there was no response from the buttons. I couldn't change the menu option highlighted, nor did the power button execute what was already highlighted.
By placing a PC49IMG and a rom on the memory card and then booting to that menu, it enabled those options to be selected. I couldn't flash the rom, but I have now managed to perform a hard reset. Now it boots up ok, but when I go to power off, the next time I power on it's going back to the fastboot (highlighted red) screen. I'm running any RUU update to kick it out of fastboot back into the actual OS.

Currently my HTC HD2 is running cyanogenmod7 using MAGLDR 1.13.
I want to switch back to winmo 6.5 to start fresh and have read tutorials that i need to enter bootloader ( the red, white, green screen thingy) to establish a connection with activesync. But the problem is that i can't actually get into bootloader and i have tried volume down button with the power button combo and it doesn't seem to work.
If someone knows how to get to bootloader then please help.

Does the volume down button work on your HD2? Sounds like it does not.

No no no no no and NO!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is nothing in MAGLDR that can make your HD2 go into bootloader. The only this.g that can get you into the bootloader besides the external hardware buttons is the bootloader.exe that can be run from inside Windows Mobile. It can only be run from inside Windows Mobile. MAGLDR is a custom bootloader that runs after the HSPL bootloader and has no way of communicating with the HSPL bootloader.
At the OP, you may have a faulty volume button ribbon that is causing you not to be able to boot into the bootloader. Check out this thread you will see what I mean. Read post #10

Bootloader mode is handy for checking the HD2's version of Hard SPL as well as the installed ROM and Radio versions,and also for ROM or Radio flashing to the HD2. I sometimes use the Bootloader method to flash ROMs as it saves connecting to Activesync/WMDC because the PC recognises the HD2 as connected via USB. It is also useful for flashing a ROM or Radio version if the battery charge is less than 50%, as it ignores the 50% charge warning that is normally displayed when flashing if the HD2 is low on charge. Never use this method if you have less than a 30% charge as you will be in deep trouble if the HD2 runs out of power while flashing a ROM or Radio version!
To place the HD2 into Bootloader mode, remove the HD2's back cover hold down the volume down key, now press in the red reset button under the back cover to the bottom left of the SIM, release the soft reset button but continue to hold the volume down key in until you are presented with the tri colour bootloader screen. Can you get into the windows start- settings - system? If yes, there is an app that says "clear storage memory", which brings you back to the factory settings when you bought it. It's worth a try.
Entering bootloader screen is sometimes difficult: press and hold the volume down button and then press shortly
the power button, this should bring you to this screen. If it does not, remove your battery for at least 10 minutes and try again.

I could not enter the bootmanager in android brief button press to end a call, we moved the menu to shut down, reset, etc, the same menu that appears when you hold down the button longer to stop calling ...
This defect appeared to me after I lay HD2 due to large changes in ambient temperature ...
After a few days of research, opening, drying I removed the defect, so I pulled out and cleaned the keys below the screen (Home, Menu, Back, red and green) and wipe the foil that these pressures are the same buttons ...
My HD2 has been working for 2 weeks with no errors

to get in to bootloader i just discovered a different (strange)way ... from winmo , with back cover off press red reset button and imediately while reseting press volume down ... this is my only way to get in to ... otherwise , all the keys are fully working when in windows mobile .

only if you are currently running winmo 6.5, , theres a winmo app to restart into bootloader.
alternatively, dismantle the phone and short the voldown connections.

all stock roms include an spl, i think YOU mean ''or stock rom with hspl.''', , no, there are no stock roms that include hspl.
there is only one way to apply HSPL, , and that's through bootloader.

How to enter bootloader(tricolor scren) on hd2 t-mobile-usa, i tried wth vol down key but no respns. I thk may be another key for hd2 t-mobile-usa. Does any one know? Or thr is no Spl with ths stock rom¡*if so, how to instal Spl on hd2 t-mobile(1024) or stock rom wth Spl so that i can instal Hspl¡* & whr i can get bootloader.exe for hd2 - wp6.5

But cant get its bootloader by holding vol down key wth power key at a time thn pres reset butn.
Is thr any soft/bootloader.exe for entering hd2's bootloader through pc or frm phn(hd2-usa)? If so thn pls giv the link. Or is needed to re-instll stock rom over prsnt stock rom

Hi, I had a similar problem where I could not enter the boot loader. The solution I found that worked for me was provided by: broncogr on another thread discussing a similar issue with the DHD ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=889567 )

when the capacitive buttons light is off immediately press and hold volume - button and keep holding until device is in bootloader
