Hi !
My P4350 got stuck in the bootloader when I stied to flash a new ROM
Active sync doesn't recognize the P4350 anymore....
IPL 5.04.0002
SPL 4.10.0000
What should I do now ????
search for bootloader... there are so much threads with the same question
Did it fail during the flashing process? Do you see an error message on the bootloader screen? ActiveSync won't recognize the device unless it is booted up in Windows Mobile. If you can still get into the bootloader reflash the ROM from there. You don't have to flash ROM's connected via ActiveSync; you can do it from the bootloader as well.
It did fail during an flash !!
The only thing on the tri colour screen: is: IPL 5.04.0002 and SPL 4.10.0000
When I try to flash a new rom it gives errors, it starts for 2 seconds and than it stops with an error. (on several occasions different errors ==> one error at the time).
Post some of the error codes you get. Have you tried flashing a different ROM? You may need need to use MTTY if you get a ROM upgrade code message in the bootloader itself.
Ehhhhhhh what is: MTTY if you get a ROM upgrade code message in the bootloader itself.
I have NO idea what you mean.
I had before an TyTN and that was no problem ever (until it died..)

I'm a retard. You don't have HSPL flashed to your device. This is why it keeps failing when you try to flash a ROM. The HTC SPL on your device is blocking you from flashing unsigned (custom) or CID-mismatching ROM's to your device. All you should need to do is flash HSPL and then your custom ROM. Read the Wiki for this device if you need more information.
My phone was provided by Vodafone.
I have now Telfort.
I flashed Vodafone to Canonyang.
Then I tried to put the Dutch back on it and then it got stuck in the Bootloader.
Wasn't it hard SPL than??

I've tried 2 different HSPL now.
It goes well, even says 100 % on phone AND computer but than it gives error 270 'update error'
What now...
Have you followed this? I know it works for me...
I've seen it, but where do I have to intall the 3 cab files?
Do I have to install them on the microSD card?
Do I have to put them like this .cab or do I need them to unpack them??
please help!
Copy them to your phone, install all three on your phone's memory.
ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh How should I do that ??
Oh right. I'm retarded. You're stuck in the bootloader... Sorry just reading too many threads and getting confused. Have you tried searching for "bootloader" or "Goldcard" in the ROM development forums? There are tons of explanations on how to recover from being stuck in the bootloader.
hey guys trying to flash my first WM(US T-MO HD2) phone but its not working out.i followed every procedure given by MSKIP but i keep getting this message after pressing next on HSPL2_RUN: "CRITICAL ERROR,FLOW:00000003,ERROR CODE:00000004,DESCRIPTION:BAD MODEL ID".i turned off antivirus and restarted my windows 7 then connected my device with WINDOWS MOBILE DEVICE CENTER v.6.1 and then executed the HSPL2_RUN but didnt work out.bootloader screen shows up at the bottom saying usb and the phone didnt brick it just stayed in bootloader till i took the battary out and restarted the phone.what am i doing wrong please correct me.thank u
pretty sure thats the wrong hspl2.
Use teh link in my sig to get hspl1024 and compare it to the one you have,
I agree sounds like the wrong hspl. When you actually flash it the hspl should be 2.08.0000 not 2.0.0000 as the unlocker provides 2 options.

or did you mean to say "When you actually flash it the hspl should be 2.08.hspl not 2.08.0000 as the unlocker provides 2 options."
I was referring to the actual ruu, when the window displays on your pc it needs to be the 2.08.000 hspl, once the phone is unlocked the spl line will read 2.08.hspl like you stated.
thanx guys i will try SAMSAMUAL's HSPL2_1024_RUN and c if it goes through.thanx
thank u SAMSAMUEL that was the right HSPL.thanks to u and other i've finally succcessfully flashed my first WM phone.
all credit goes to Bepe, Cotulla and the DFT whos genius gave us HSPL

hspl3 is just an updated hspl1024, updated to support more model id's. You can use either. hspl1024 is on page 99 of the HSPL thread, however yes, you can use hspl3 in my sig. choose 2.08.hspl not 2.08.0000(0000 is stock)
When you say so you can switch to android, you dont mean the youtube vid and connected site with the 'android beta OS installer' do you? which says you need hspl 1.42.hspl? cos thats a fake.
Please People...I really need help here..My phone make me crazy...
I try to flash my EU HTC HD2 with Android Nand rom and i have problem with that so i decide to put everithing on default with stock rom...
I download it and try but all the time error 290, and i read and read and somebody said that i need to have 1.42.HSPL (in that moment mine was 2.08. HSPL) ...so i do that with the HSPL2_Run and all procedure to back my hd2 to STOCK was faild again...
So i decide to turn beck HSPL to 2.08.HSPL and install some CustomRUU but from that point i have the same
CRITICAL ERROR
FLOW:00000003
ERROR CODE:00000004
DESCRIPTION:BAD MODEL ID....
I use HSPL2_RUN and HSPL4...and it was working...but now just error...What happend? What can i do?
How that can work in one moment and in another not... :-/
Forward Thankful...
In bootloader, what does the top line of text say?
same problem as Camsy..
in top right of bootloader i've RUUNBH, and after this there's 8g8g8g8 SS-BC.
Now i've loaded hspl.3.03 but i want to downgrade at hspl2 cause hspl3 is not compatible with my hd2.

What do you mean by unlocked? The phone will be unlocked to flash any custom ROM if you have used HSPL. Are you expecting it to give you 576Mbs or make the phone SIM unlocked using HSPL?
yes, I have used HSPL, but can not successfully unlock.
I would like to unlock the T8588, and then, update Radio or custom ROM.
rom unlock and sim unlock, totally different things.
installing hspl will not unlock sim but WILL unlock rom for flashing.
run hspl3, choose 2.08.hspl and now you can flash custom roms.

Yes, I understand, is unlocked ROM. the question now is, HSPL3(HSPL2,HSPL) can not unlock the ROM for flashing, T8588.
I've tried and can not unlock the ROM.
what rom did you try to flash, and what error message?
If you run hspl3, it will give a screen saying "we hacked it".
If you are not getting that screen, I would post in the hspl3 thread for ideas.
thanks samsamuel,
thanks nrfitchett4,
yes, I run HSPL3, and it give a screen saying "we hacked it", but, after rebooting, still did not unlock.
SPL-1.66.0000 XE
hmm,. odd one.
1 - are you right clicking hspl and choosing 'run as administrator'
2 - try hspl2 instead, and choose 1.66.hspl, see if that helps.

I would like to try android system, but the radio version is too low.
help me, please.
Silly question , are you sure you are selecting HSPL and not just whatever pops up, also make sue your HSPL is the ONLY thing in the directory that you are running it from, create an empty folder and but HSPL3 there, and only HSPL3
No, all the way, I have tried, Including HSPL, HSPL2, HSPL3.
HSPL can unlock HD2, however, HSPL can not unlock T8588
T8588 hardware and HD2 the same, but the ROM is Simplified Chinese.

Hi, im new. I really want to flash the 7.8 rom that just came out but i have a few problems/questions.
1. I bought my device used, i dont know if it has ospl or not. PS when i go into bootloader mode i get a White screen that gives me option to restore to Factory settings and something else, im guessing thats for stock firmware? well ospl.
2. ¨WARNING TO ALL:
Do NOT use RSPL / HSPL with Mozart 4.XX and other RUU ROMS with MANGO.
All WP7F devices affected: MOZART, GOLD, SCHUBERT, MONDRIAN, SPARK!
It will damage your device. Not a joke¨
and
List of supported MIDs:
Gold: “PC92****”, “PC921000”
Mozart: “MOZA1000”, “PD67****”, “PD671000”, “PD671200”
Mondrian: “PD26****”, “PD261000”, “PD261100”
Si i have mango, just to be sure, i dont have ruu mango like it says up there right? it that a custom rom?
and my mid is pd26100, not pd261000. Does pd26**** include my mid? because it has 8 digits, mine has 7 digits.
can i do the hspl and get 7.8? thanks in advance
how come i nerver get replies..
i need to know if its already hacked or not
if i have spl on my bootloader screen
or should it say ospl?
ill be waiting
how can i access developer forums?
First of all, go into bootloader mode (power button + volume down!). Write ur SPL version here so we could help u. P.S: Ur MID is supported, cuz u can't see the last digit in the bootloader mode.

Use this guide to install HSPL. Launch RSPL first, then install HSPL. After that go into bootloader again and check HSPL graph. It should be like HSPL-1.52.2250.4.
Then just launch ROMUpdateUtility in your ROM's folder.
Give us feedback about ur progress.

Hi everybody,
I have installed on my vodafone SFR htc trophy, RSPL and then HSPL, after that i tried to install some cooked roms by ansar, after the flash process the phone did reboot to stuck in a black screen, pulling out the battery and placing in again the phone now stuck in the bootloader and went from being PC40100 as a Model ID to be like:
SPAR100 SS-BC (4K)
HSPL-1.10.2250.1(112663)
MicroP(LED) 0x09
Touch A1(v10,20)
and everytime i try to install any firmware even the phone's original stock ones i get the error INVALID MODEL ID [244], i've tried also to flash it using a Y-cable and a Goldcard and when i plug the micro usb cable in the phone while this later in the USB HOST MODE the phone stuck forever in CHECKING.., anybody has any idea how to fix this SPAR100 bootloader problem? thanks in advance.
--------------------------------------------------------------update-----------------------------------------------------
it did work the hex editing and i could bypass the invalid model id error, but now i'm stuck in the [266] error every time i try to install some stock firmware, and i get Radio Update Fail when trying it using the Y-cable, and when flashing a custom rom the flash process goes well until the phone reboots to stuck in htc logo with the 7 vibrates, and searching the [266] error they said about it, it caused when flashing a custom rom that erases a partition the stock firmwares use to install their bloatware so i'm trying more custom roms hopping that one of them finally successfully boots the phone, have you any idea what could be done to bypass the [266] error?

Sounds like you flashed the HSPL for the Verizon version of the trophy. The Spar100 is a name change so as not to flash roms not specific to the Verizon Trophy. All you should have to do is revert back to OSPL using the HSPL software which should allow you to flash a stock rom. See this post for more info http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195647. Hope this helps!!!

Invalid ModelID. This means that your phone not supported.
This installer supports only limited number of the phones.
SPARK, MOZART, MONDRIAN, GOLD, SCHUBERT.

any idea how to change that SPAR100 to PC401000?

Honestly I don't but if it's a matter of just getting a rom on the phone you can change the model ID in the signed .nbh file to SPAR10000 using a hex editing tool and it should flash. Is it SPAR10000 or SPAW10000? My Verizon Trophy changes to SPAW10000. Regardless, the model ID is right there on the 4th line in the hex editor. Beyond that PM'ing one of the dev's, Cotulla or mwang from DFT, would be your best bet. Since the arrival of WP8 the experts seems to have abandoned this forum and it's just us noobs :silly: Sorry!!!
The bootloader will show 4 characters and only the first 4 numbers of the model ID, like SPAR1000 or P0401000. If you do use the hex editor only change the first 4 but leave remaining numbers as they are.

man i really appreciate for you your care, i had read about the hex editing in the DFT team's chines forum concerning the same issue i'm facing, and since i don't understand chines it remained not that clear for me what should be hex edited in the .nbh file, and now as you have shaded some light about it i'll give it a try,
I've already tried to PM some developers out there but they don't respond, may be too busy to do so..., anyway i'll try the hex editing thing and i'll let you know the result.
thanks.
