Anyone else getting 3550 and above on quadrant standard overclocked to 1.1 ghz?
This is kp's rom.
UPDATE: Now im getting around 4200 on cm7 prebeta 2 with the built in oc and it feels alot smoother!

No! My highest was 303x!

My highest is always ~2900

Sadly on stock when I first got the phone I would get over 4000 but now with GB and a 1.1 overclock I only get up to 3600. Is it really that far off on performance because it isn't a final build or is the final build going to be like this?

How is it you were getting 4000 or 4700 on quadrant standard?

make sure you have set cpu to 1.1 min and max

hey guys, big news! benchmarks don't mean anything in reality.

my best "In Use" score is 3196. by in use I mean I have all the programs running I would have normally so I got a lot of junk running in the background. I have yet to kill everything and see what I can get with that.

You felt the need to express this why? This wasn't in the Q&A section as do benchmarks mean anything. It's a post about your scores not about people trying to prove their tech hierarchy.

Neither do 1/4 mile or 0 to 60 times, but they are fun to throw around.

I got a 3600 "in-use" benchmark, with max and min set to 1.1. With max at 1.1 and min still at .2, I still got 3200, which is not bad.
You seriously got 4000+ while on the phone's original stock system and everything??
Mine feels so much faster and snappier now on GB with the faux kernel and everything..

very true and in response to first post i get around 3330+ with most of my apps going but i have both min and max set to highest in set cpu

As does mine feel faster on gingerbread

That's the way I test also. I'm around 3000 with all the normal apps running that I leave running and min and max CPU speeds kept where I use them. It feels very smooth!

I have an atrix benchmark thread!

Linpack top ten

I was curious if one of the senior members could explain how people are able to achieve some of these crazy mflop and mhz when you go to the linpack site. I understand that the droid has a beefier processor so I get the 1300 mhz numbers - I just dont understand how you could hit 80 mflops.
Are these stable everyday devices or are they maxed out to hit the number and then dialed back for normal use.
Thanks.
The Linpack results are manipulable. If you know what you are doing you can get it to say pretty much what ever you'd like it to say.
I have no clue either, but I saw framework hit 8 mflops with evil Eris 3 Rom

No you didn't. That's fake also and was done well before Evil Eris 3 was done. I assure that Framework is not running a 1ghz overclock on an Evil Eris 3.0 rom. The 5.6 value is the highest legitimate value.

Well I did see it regardless if it was fake.
Thats cool - Thanks guys - seemed kind of unrealistic.
I and running XTR and hit about 2.6 - 3.1 @ 710mhz.
Anytime I exceed 710 I get boot looped.

the highest i hit was 5.43 or something and that was white widow 3.2 767 overclocked and nothing running in the background... i should try airplane mode.
I faked them, linpack is worthless.

I was thinking about responding to your post with something like, "Well, at least the G2 can actually hold a GPS lock." But then I thought of all the things you could say in return about the G2, and I thought best of it.

Wow! I just installed SetCPU, thinking that it might improve my score. With SetCPU installed and the min/max set to 998 I got 1061. I uninstalled SetCPU and and tried again. Got my best score yet - 1322.

I was getting around 1000-1100 on Steve's 1.3... I just installed his 1.4.5 and overclocked as high as it would go. I didn't close any programs, had wi-fi on, just as I'd normally be using my phone. It ran a 1639. Not bad!
I noticed the animations ran a lot faster. Heck, that score is tripled what I was running on 2.1.

Quadrant Benchmark results.

Just wanted to know the highest score anyones ever got. Im using myns rls5 underclocked to 806 with nets kernel. Im getting a score of 908 lmao, wtf?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Well the fact that the new version reads lower plus the fact that your underclocked that much, I'm surprised it was that high, unless you're still on 1.5.
The highest scores are from CM6 w/ the Snap Turbo Kernel and range from 2500 to ~3000. Highest I ever got was 2700. Miui also gets high scores of like 1700 to 2000ish for some people, although I usually go 1500s. For Sense ROMs, I think the highest I've gotten was 1500s or maybe low 16s with the old Quadrant and MikFroyo + Ziggy's BFS kernel.
I also used to get 1400s with EViO 2 1.7 underclocked to 921. That is a sweet ROM.
Its been a few month's since i ran one, but I think it was a little over 1200

Is that 1608mhz , your phone must be on fire
Now have 150.595. It was a bit warm. I expect it to fall as the number one soon, i m sure there are guys on here with over 1.7ghz. I cant seem to get that to stay stable.
Finally! My highest (1.2) was 122 although that was an inconsistent result. My average high is around 100. Wonder what the Sensation and Tegra devices are hitting.....
Regards.
Best i can do so far.
I'm getting wildly inconsistent results. Managed to get 120 at 1200mhz with a accuracy of 2.2 after a dozen runs.

Yeah you just have to keep trying until you get a high score with a valid accuracy. It wont let you save unless its consistently accurate.

Its the Moto Zooms i worry about., Although the Tegra is slower the Zoom seems to be able to hit up to 2GHz. We need a 1.8Ghz SGS2 to keep them down..
I do wonder if the Atom powered tabs will beat us though.

I can probably break 160 MFLOPS if i take the CPU speed up to 1.65 GHz if i can get it to run stable there.

Ok, now i managed to get 170.027 MFLOPS in Linpack with the CPU at 1.58 GHz and the Core voltage on 1.375v .
