EDIT PLEASE READ THROUGH
Alright, I'm about to give up again. My phone.. I don't understand what the **** is wrong with it. I have uninstalled, task29ed, reinstalled magldr flashed with CWm uhhh.. all that stuff over and over and over and over again and it STILL freezes, flashes a blue screen, crashes, restarts, freezes all that stuff.
Right now the issues I have are :
-It crashes on the tri color screen when I plug the USB in.
-It stays at the "Stick Together Scren"
-It crashes when I get to MAGLDR (IF I get t MAGLDR)
So I can't really get anywhere with these reoccurring problems.
Right now I have
-2.08.HSPL
-Radio 2.15.50.40.
-Magldr V 1.13
And that's it. I have TMOUS HTC HD2
I'm trying to install D4RK MIUI v1.5 (1.6.24)
Yes, all my battery little prongs are straight
Yes, I format my SanDisk SD Card
Yes, I did everything I was supposed, followed every instruction to the T, and yet... still.
I'm sure it's not bricked.. It still turns on and stuff, but it just freezes and crashes CONSTANTLY.
PLEASE anyone that knows ANYTHING new I could do, or can direct somewhere. PLEASE. I really love this phone and the possibilities it holds, I don't want to use my stupid Samsung Galaxy S 4G. It's so slow xDD
Anyone have any suggestions..?
To help you everything you say have to be precise. Like is your ROM is it an android NAND and what's the name of it. To check turn off your phone, then turn it on, right from the start by press and hold the red button until you see MAGLDR 1.13 screen. If you see it then we can move to next confirmation steps like what's the name of your ROM. There is no way to fix any if you just give us a maybe. From MAGLDR, select power down, then wait a few second then power your device on and let it boot all the way into the ROM. When your ROM fully loaded, go into Settings/About phone/look under what's the Build number? What's the Android version? What's the Baseband version?
I have magldr 1.13
So I ended up getting a stupid samsung galaxy s xD
ANYWAY, the other day I charged up my old HTC HD2 and prior to ignoring it and letting it die, I removed android and magldr. But I wasn't able to remove HSPL because it wouldn't stay on long enough for me to do it.
And today when I thought it had "fixed itself". It was working completely fine, no freezing on WinMo. So I thought 'what the heck let's do it again!' so I followed the steps for flashing your first nand rom from mskip and I still get the same problems. The phone freezes, I leave it alone, try to press buttons, and it flashes a blue screen then reboots. Magldr doesn't load, I can still get into the tri color screen, I've tried to master reset it multiples of times.. I DUNNO WHAT TO DOOOOOO. And it seems like I'm the only one with this problem xD Please help!

Well of course it is, what do you expect, you have just wiped the entire nand.
You need to re-install MAGLDR, then the partition size you need for the rom you want, then copy the rom to your SD and flash with recovery. Get the HD2 NAND tools from the sticky thread in Android NAND forum, that will make process allot easier for you.
You should also properly format your sdcard with Panasonic SDFormatter (Full+Overwrite+size adjust). Then in recovery>advanced>sd partition (1GB+0MB swap) If you have a EU HD2 and need the extra data storage/rom requires it.

Could you be a little more specific....? ^^;
Like.. how do I flash with recovery.
What tools are you talking about, 'cause I downloaded the HD2 toolkit and have no idea on how to use it. Seemed simpler than I expected.

Then go to ad recovery and wipe data, cache partition, and dalvik(advanced).
Then go to install zip from sd card
Choose zip from sd card (which you should have placed on the root of your sd card, using a card reader)
After installation,reboot.
Give it time.
Some ROMS take 15-20 minutes to install.
An alternative is KEVIN134's TOOLKIT (Don't forget to thank him).
This one is a good step by step guide for complete beginners.

Hey! Thanks for replying! I figured it out on my own and have been installing roms through my SD card via Clockwork Mod. It works well for awhile, but I still have the same problem I started off with. The phone freezes and a blue screen flashes then restarts. Do you know why this is happening?

yes, formatting the sd card fixes a lot
use radio 2.15
and before flashing a rom, always wipe data/cache/dalvik cache

Hi,
Couple more questions.
What sd card are you using?(brand, class, size, etc.)
What ROM are you trying to install?
I have SanDisk micro SD adaptorfor my SanDisk 16 GB microSD there's also a number 2 in a circle at the top right and HC in the bottom right.
I'm trying to install D4RK MIUI v1.5 (1.6.24)

Hi,
Sandisk is a good make of card which is Android friendly.
If you have formatted it as suggested above, that should not be the problem.
Did you follow my guide to the letter?
D4RK MIUI requires a 150MB CWM partition.Did you enter those figures in the KSUBEDI TOOLKIT?
Are you sure you downloaded the MAGLDR version of the ROM?
Yes, yes, yes and yes xD I'm just as stumped as you are.
Could the Sim card have anything to do with it?

nand android on hd2 = freeze freeze freeze.
Phone: Telstra HTC HD2
Carrier: AT&T
Current OS: WP7
OS Wanted: Android (an HTC Sense ROM is preferred, but I have no idea what's best, i'd take whatever ROM is most recommended/stable/fast).
Notes: MAGLDR 1.13 is already on the phone
Hello all, I'm new here, as you can see by my post count.
Anyway, I recently purchase a Telstra HTC HD2 from eBay. I purchased it because I wanted to put my uncle on our family plan as a birthday gift (he currently doesn't have a cell phone), but I wanted him to have a nice phone, I didn't want to add a data plan (I plan on disabling cellular data, not trying to take advantage of the $10 unlimited mediaNET), and I didn't want to sign the 2-year contract.
I did a lot of reading, and the Telstra seemed like my best option. It had a large screen, could use AT&T 3G, and could run Android.
The phone arrived late (today) and today is my uncle's birthday, so now I'm in a time-crunch. I originally planned to try and learn how-to do all this myself, but I just don't have the time now unfortunately, and I'm honestly worried about screwing the phone up if I try and rush through it.
I'm willing to paypal (gift) anyone who is interested $15 to teamview (remote view) my computer and flash Android to the phone. I also have an iPhone 4 and a laptop so I could FaceTime or Skype for any offline instructions that require video to see what's on the HD2 screen at a given time. I'm not sure how long the process takes, I could pay more if necessary. I watched a video and it didn't seem to take long, but all the pre-necessary stuff I read in mskip's guide for noob's kind of scared me a bit. I assume if you flash a lot of have done this a few times it's like second nature, and I'd feel better knowing someone who's done it several times before is doing it correctly.
The phone originally had WP6.5 on it and the seller said he put WP7 on it, and that "MAGLDR 1.13 is already on the phone."
I get home from work around 5:30pm-6:00pm Eastern (US). There is a window of about 3 hours if anyone thinks that can work, till around 9:00pm Eastern.
If you're interested PM me I guess. Sorry if offering money for help violates forum rules but I didn't see anything about it in the noob video.
Thanks for any help.

Someone PMed me to help, but I appreciate the offer. Normally I wouldn't expect to pay, but under these circumstances I don't mind. I do enough computer work for friends and family, and I understand time is money, especially free time. I'm sure I'll post and work through issues the normal way in the future.

Dude you really shouldn't be paying anybody its extremely easy to flash android.
@ the atheist - totally agree. flashing it is so easy, shame to waste the moolah. @ the op - hope you get it done and all is good.
Android on HD2
You already have HSPL and Magldr on the phone and yet you want to pay someone to do it for you?
just flash CWM through the USB Flasher option under Magldr and flash CWM Zip Rom through CWM recovery ...
it's dead easy,
regards.
yea its crazy to pay someone to do it
there are many of us that could walk you thru it and hace it up and running
in about 20 minutes

Sorry, trying now
Thaugt that maybe it would work without starting all over
also, the activesync/wmdc that ship aren't the latest versions, google it and go to ms website and run the install from there to update it.
Also... are you trying to install a CLK rom with MAGLDR as your bootloader? Try getting the MAGLDR flavour of the rom instead.
No boot sources
When i choose AD recovery the device said there are no boot sources.
I have tried to install the ''cLK 150MB for BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA ROM'' with usb flasher.
And when i place all these rom files on the (formatted) sd card it says ''SD kernel open failed''
Find the solution i think!
When i downloaded this android, i dind't noticed the daf clk and stuff.
Now i'm downloading the daf file.
I'm sorry for bothering you all
Thank you very much anyways!
Phone keeps rebooting!
I installed the daf version using the usb flasher.
It installed correctly but when the phone rebooted it shows the energyrom screen, then the magldr screen and then the Htc screen appears.
After this, the phone reboots and this all start all over again. I can only stop it by taking out the battery.

Flash latest magldr from this screen
Restart
Bootloader
flash radio if needed, can skip this step usually
Restart
Magldr menu

Flash desired cwm partition layout
Restart
Magldr menu 8 ad recovery (recovery no longer runs from SD like before)
Once in cwm, mount SD card and copy over the rom you want then flash it with 'instal zip from SD - choose zip'
Thanks Sam, i appreciate any help. However I am a newb. So one word commands to me Really lose me
I know That Number 8 in my menu is not ad Recover it is services.
Checked Color Screen, it is 2.08.
I am lost after that. You said go to the USB Flasher, What do I do when I am there? I apologize for my lack of flashing knowledge
Get the little windows program from the stickies in the android nand forum it has really good instructions and it has the latest magldr and cwm and it basicly walks you through the whole process
Sent from my HD2 using XDA App
Number 8 will be ad recovery once you get the latest magldr.
When quoting spl, the bit you missed off is the important bit,
2.08.what? 2.08.0000 or 2.08.hspl? Big difference.
As for the how, you ought really to know the process before you start, not do each step as you read it,that's really bad practice. An hours reading of the stickies and especially the first posts of the various threads,,magldr, cwm, the rom you choose,,,most roms give directions how to flash in the first few posts.
(Sorry to sound all preachy, just I know how much more likely you are to make a mistake diving in and doing it on the fly,, plus of course that info is everywhere, no need for me to write it all out again, hehe)
HI there so i bought a used HD2 wich came with ICS installed when it arrived i turned it on and loaded MAGLDR then it tried to load Android but got stuck at the GO GO GO! line. As i dont have any drivers installed and Windows doesnt recognize the HD2 in MAGLDR i cant flash a new rom. I wanted to do a Task 29 but that requires drivers too.
So my question is how do i perform a full wipe so i can get a working rom since the phone turns on, shows the TMobile splash screen then goes into Magldr and tries to boot android immediately then get sutck in GO GO GO!.
hold power button until magldr menu appear
in ad recovery you can wipe anything

Edit: So i managed to get the drivers and got the phone recognized, so i performed task 29, worked perfectly. Followed the steps but when i try to install a radio it fails and gets stuck at 96%. I tried flashing the radio several times but no luck... What am i doing wrong?
It's better if you download the drivers because it's useful for later needs...
Best regards

I have the T Mobile US version, HSPL SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE COtullaHSPL 0x05 0x50(what it says on tricolor bootloader). The radio i tried to install is 2.15.50.14.
I got the drivers, my PC finally got a connection with the HD2 so i performed a task29 and wiped the phone then i followed your guide tried to install the radio but the process with CustomRUU.exe got stuck at 96% and said there was an error "this update utility can not be used on your device." and now the phone shows an Update Fail screen without a radio i cant install MAGLDr then install WP7 on it so what can i do?

Okay sorry I should've explained more..
yes you have to have a radio.
Yes you can install ics beta 10 with clk.
No you cannot install wp7 with clk magldr is required for that.
If your phone is getting close to running out of battery I would flash clk 1.5 via SD card and then charge the phone up

After the installation the phone syas reboot now! but doesnt do anything i had to pull out the battery and now it wont boot. ts stuck in a blank magldr menu.
EDIT: I managed to get magldr to show something, it tries to boot WPH but says 1eFATAL HIT 1. Did i scre up the installation? If i hold the power button it keeps doing the same thing without showing the options menu how do i wipe the rom so i can flash a new one?
Edit 2: flashed wp7 again boots magldr then sticks on GO GO GO! again.

Its happened to me before. Make sure as soon as you flash magldr, thats you clear mbr on sd card and use last 24 nand, and you will be fine, otherwise you will stay stuck on go go go go
good luck!
Yep.. thats a problem for you, but also for me, i have HTC HD2 fully working, just replaced digitzier soon, WinMo just works flawless thought it sucks ballls, and whenever i try to do task 29 then install radio then install magldr then install cwm with the required partition, i get stuck on GO GO GO! ..
