Hi,
Have you checked here:
http://android.hd2roms.com/

yes but theres often no kernel given :/ and the most popular builds arent not with the rafpigna kernel :/ dont know why :x

What is special about the rafpigna kernel? Just curious

I can tell you that using Rafpinga's kernel on the Hyperdroid build will force it into a bootloop and the ROM won't work. What I found that makes Rafpinga's kernel so special is on Cmylxgo's Desire HD(2) build it gave me the lowest stand by battery drains on my phone between 2-3mA. And without any peaks more than 11mA.

[KERNEL] Best kernel for HD2 NAND

Hi, what's the best kernel for NAND Desire HD Build?? Rafpigna 1.9OC have overclock issues. What's the best and how to install it?? THANKS!!
Overclock issues like what? I hope you don't think overclocking to 1.9 is safe, or will make your device work properly. If you overclocked to say 1.2/3 You should be okay. If you overclock to anymore than that you're bound to run into problems. If even when you overclock to 1.2/3 and you face issues, or even 1.1, then your HD2 has problems. Either way, the HD2 wasn't meant to get extreme overclocking as it even heats up when it is capped at 1ghz.
@ kailkti..
1.9 is just version number...you can overclock most to to 1536 mhz or something like that..i personally keep it at 1190..its perfectly stable..as for best kernel..two kernels stand out rafpignas and tytung..i would choose tytungs r10 or r9...
yes, 1.9 is version number. Rafpigna's kernel have the event number issue, which cause randomly high cpu usage and lags. With tytung kernel i have reboot loop at htc bootanimation. I use Stock Desire HD Rom by EFyodor.Actually with MDJ's Kernel v10.4OC but have some bugs. Any idea for get working tytung or another good kernel to try??
And at what clock speed do you experience these laggs and what not? As I said, if you experience them at 1.2ghz then your phone has a bad processor, or you need an non undervolted kernel, if it happens when you go above 1.2 ghz then it is expected to have problems since these are not "safe" speeds. If you have it even when at 1ghz then more than likely it's your phone or you again need an non undervolted kernel.
Note however i think you need to clarify on what the "laggs" and "bugs" are that you speak of. Because you have to remember, any sense rom uses up more resources, hence operating more slow than other roms, which might be the cause for your "lagg", which is experienced by anyone who uses sense.
If you are talking, saying random reboots, 1 min lagg, or so and you have not done anything or is running anything, then you might want to look for a kernel which isn't undervolted. If the same still happens, then it is your processor.
Roms with Tytung kernels face bluetooth issues... i have used many 2.3.4 roms with tytung kernals ... can any one suggest any other kernel for sd roms also? I have tried rafpigna also but in that mobile connection is not stable...

No problem here on tytung r10

Same here, tytung r10 is working great for me
Yes, tytung r10 is very good. But i can't install. I have reboot loop at htc logo. How to make it working?

if you were SD i'd suggest the ACA kernel. we've just about figured out the bt issues as far as i can tell now.
here at some point i'll release the updated ACA kernel for full NAND use.
I had try to use Kernel GL_Core v11 uv and R1.9
Kernel GL_Core v11 is better for me
I am using Boyppc desire hd v14

The best combo of kernel and rom is rafpigna 1.8 oc no sense and hyperdroid cm7 2.0.1 @ 1536mhz. It runs great and every single feature works great, as well as EDGE, 3g, bluetooth, tethering. Everything works great. This is the perfect combo. It runs great but typical os optimizations are REQUIRED to having your phone running epically fast. You will need the right nand partitions etc. I experience absolutely no issues what so ever on that combo, I'm not kidding. Everyone seems to be having issues, and I used to be one of them. Install the latest CMW 3.2.??X? and flash ur partitions correctly then install the rom from sd to nand, install 1.8 oc no sense, restart and everything is 100% perfect. I now wish I could alter the oc code of rafpigna's rom. I know it's possible to run faster. My phone doesn't run hot at all, at 1536mhz for hours and hours on end. This phone could handle 1.7-2Ghz with voltage increase, I GUARANTEE IT. It will just take time and patience.
The raf kernel still has the 60mAh bluetooth drain when used in non-sense builds. The best option for kernel is Tytung r10, until charansingh finishes work on the .37 kernel

TB Fusion3d 1.1.0.2

Hello ,could you please someone explain me which kernel version is better for this ROM and work better with virtuous OC daemon. What about this kernel already include in TB Fusion3d ROM?What benefit is to use Stock HTC 2.6.35.10 + tun.ko or Lee's Kernel v3.1.6.I read somewhere that virtuous OC daemon not work with stock kernel - this one build in Seo ROM is stock or not and what is different between it and Stock HTC 2.6.35.10 + tun.ko?What mean tun.ko?
SORRY BUT I AM NEW AND HAVE TOO MANY QUESTIONS!
Thank you!
Any idea????????????????

[Q] difference between tytung and Rafpigna kernel for gbsense

Rule of thumb is :
Tytungs kernels are for pure Android
Raf's and Hieros are for Sense Android
there are exceptions for when tytung makes specific kernels for sense like bliss etc
Ok, but my phone doesn't work, correct when I use a raf based kernel, is there a way to fix it?

[Q] Working wifi with GB kernel and Froyo ROM?

I have finally found the best mix of ROM and kernel but with one problem, wifi doesn't work. Whenever I try to go to turn it on it just says error and can't connect. The kernel that I am using is HierOS 1.7.5 kernel mainly because of the smartass governor v2 since overclocking no longer gets my cpu speed stuck at 384. The ROM I am trying to use it on is Cmylxgo's stock desire HD ROM.
Kernel:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1233125
ROM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=915159
Any help or workaround would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You can try to turn the phone off as soon as you get the error when turning wifi on
And go into Recovery>Advanced >FIX PERMISSIONS
If kernel is compatible it should fix it for you
If not I suggest to find another Froyo Rom like Coredroid 1.6 or 1.7
All works there and it's also Themed so its an eyecandy it works with Hieros Kernel

You need to find another kernel to use. The one you listed is for Gingerbread based ROMs and not Froyo based like Cmylxgos. Is there a problem with using the current Rafpinga 1.9 kernel associated with Cmylxgo's ROM? When I was on his ROM, I never had a issue with WiFi connectivity. I am now using Tytung's Nexus HD2 v3.0 ROM which is a Gingerbread ROM. No WiFi issues as well.

[Q] question about new custom roms

hi, i want some help with it!
actually i have cyanogenmod gingerbread 2.3.7 with kernel 2.6.29 , by mur4ik
but now i have heard that he is not making or working on it anymore and there are another guys making new things with 2.3.7 for example the swiftdroid second life, or the custom rom made by pete and his friend.
i wanted to know if these ones are better versions than the one i have, or if they are behind it, and if those two are newer and better versions, wich one would you recommend for lg gt 540?,
and another thing, they talk a lot about kernels, really the mur4ik rom i installed was like a package so i really didn't even care about it
but now that are talking about it and wanted to know what is it , and why is better one or another
i heard some of the guys want to puto a .31 kernel instead a .29 and things like that, and well, i really don't know it so well
help with that please, thanks!
Well for kernels look it up on Google a bit too long to explain it here.
For l android 2.1 the best kernel to be used is .29 kernel for 2.2 it would be the .32 kernel and for 2.3 and 4.0(ics) it would be the .35/.38 or 3.0 kernel
As for roms you are using swiftdroid so keep it or then next best thing would be any 2.2 rom I recommend project Utopia but if I where you I will wait for Mike's asop 2.3.7 v6 to come out
I sure am waiting for V6 mike's rom.
For the looks of it i am waiting for mike´s rom V6 it should be fast and stable, just hoping he releases it ASAP....
try Pebe 2.3.7 v5.1 rom, im using it and its quite good!
Yes, the last pcf cm7 (.32) is very good. The only thing that it ends with the battery much faster than for example in pcf aosp 2.2.2 (.32)
Froyo optimum is great too
Amazing battery life and so smooth

sorry to be so silly but,
mike = muraik?
the last one i have from him is v2.0 rc5 swiftdroid based on mur4ik
exactly which one of mike are you telling me about?
if you can post the link to the thread, that'd be nice.
