As the title says, if anyone can point me to the right direction to get the Timescape V2 arc widget (Which is apparently much more responsive) and the arc mediascape widget (Which I am not sure is out, just wondering), that'd be great. Thanks.
I don't think that the media apps work but you can find a flashable version of timescape in the x10 mini themes section.

Since you never clearly say which ROM you are using... Arc Timescape works only in Android 2.2 or above.
The rest I guess will work with X10 Stock firmware.

Can it be rooted?
There are yet no methods for 2.3 rooting because the only device with 2.3 on the market right now is Nexus S which can be "rooted" using oem unlock command.
I am sure it will be in due time

I just recieved my Arc, tried zRoot and SuperOneclick, nothing able to root it.
Tested speed, Q total: 1663, CPU over 2000. This is great, flash works great, HD PLAYER is excellent, demo HD video play so smoothly on both phone and DEMO TV.
So far, I don't see need of root.

There is no Mediascape any more.
I've tried 2.3.2 CM and i loved the live wallpaper used but 2.2.1 don't have it.. i tried to download from market and even from applanet but i get always "force app close" error.. anyone could tell me what should i do or at least post the live wallpaper here ? Cuz i've even tried to get it from 2.3 rom, but i know it wont even install on an older firmware.. thanks

is there a date for that upgrade? any official info? because Sony said that the X10 was not going to have any more upgrades beyond 2.1 Eclair.

Well the widget is awesome but the app isn't like you said. Kind of disappointed wheb I installed it on my x10.

i dont know why you prefer it,but every body has their own taste. i doubt any dev would want to work on this.so dont get your hopes high
i prefer somebody port timescape and mediascape from 1.6 or 2.1..
timescape on 2.3 is totally useless; media players have barely any function; and most importantly, infiniteview only links you to the phonebook..
and actually 1.6's background picture is very pretty in my opinion if you compare with the three android system SE provides

Well I suggest helping J "fxp" in helping making a fully stable working version then. That's why there is a delay because it's waiting to be deemed as "fully stable". It will be the same rom as in on here so join the bug hunt and perhaps think about a slughtly more constructive post next time....

Because CM for that device also made by same person & team. Gosh...J and FXP also human. Just give them more time. By the way FXP43 just released. Go try that Rom and report the bug properly if you want this Rom asap.
And btw, we are not allowed to ask for ETA. Stick to the forum rule. Cheers

This rom is great, but the camera app sucks! No 720p, no zoom in/out, no face detection and more stuff from stock GB camera app. Stock camera app looks much better. It Is Possible to replace CM7 FXP camera with stock GB camera app? Rom is really brilliant, fast, stable and smoothly, but this flaw really pisses me off.

Maybe because SE support for devs wasn't good enough? I've read that Sony provided libs and stuff for fxp team, which is awesome, but i'm afraid it was mostly for the 2011 ones.
