2 requests: Timescape V2 and Arc Mediascape

Hi,
As the title says, if anyone can point me to the right direction to get the Timescape V2 arc widget (Which is apparently much more responsive) and the arc mediascape widget (Which I am not sure is out, just wondering), that'd be great. Thanks.

I don't think that the media apps work but you can find a flashable version of timescape in the x10 mini themes section.

Since you never clearly say which ROM you are using... Arc Timescape works only in Android 2.2 or above.
The rest I guess will work with X10 Stock firmware.

[Q] Xperia Arc Gingerbread

My question is simple: Is it possible to port the xperia arc's 2.3.1 to our X8? At the X10 section TripNRaVeR managed to port it to the X10.

Why not? I think a lot of ppl would be pleased, and honestly, it looks good, better than the Cyanogen versions. I like sony's menu style.

Agreed.
It doesn't make sanse... X10 is much more similiar to Arc than our X8 is. (Talkin' about processor, screen res., RAM...)
So stop complaing. We have racht's gingerbread and it's awesome, yea I know camera is disabled, but ROM is doing the job very very well... and I hope camera will be fixed soon. It should be fixed. It WILL be fixed

X10's 2.3.3 software will be released shortly, it is currently being tested.
The firmware is from Arc and Neo, and there are not many bugs, which would mean they could soon release the update.
There are something that we observed:
1. The camera interface is the same as we see on our X10s (referring to the 2.1 update)
2. The user experience is not as smooth as the Arc, which (hopefully) SE would enhance the smoothness of the firmware.
3. The 3D performance is not as good, the FPS is does not go over 30 in Neocore (30fps limit in our kernal)
PS:
1. Forgot to test how many touches are detected.
2. There is not enough time for writer to test, we need to test (play with it) for a while.
3 and 4 are irrelevant to what we are worrying about
5. The writer does not know how to extract the rom, and therefore would not be providing it.

yeah the kernel looks to be relatively the same as the current one....
I'm wondering if it is a fake, the arc launcher with a modified build prop

This is x10n not arc. Besides, it's still being developed, no reason to think it won't change.

I honestly don't what SE are playing at.. they said in the blog release of gingerbread coming to the X10 that nothing past 2.3.3 would be released to it so wtf are they doing now

If the 2.3.4 comes and you don't want it, just don't update.

Desire is not updated to GB yet.so,not at all

Uhm, SE is not at all slow. How many devices have already got GB? When did SE annoucne it and when did the other provider announce it? Just be happy you're getting in the future fully working GB ROMs...

Why do you think it is taking so long to have a stable version of CM7 for Xperia X10? Its brothers and sisters already have theirs (Neo, Ray, Mini, Mini Pro, Play, etc.)

Well I suggest helping J "fxp" in helping making a fully stable working version then. That's why there is a delay because it's waiting to be deemed as "fully stable". It will be the same rom as in on here so join the bug hunt and perhaps think about a slughtly more constructive post next time....

Because CM for that device also made by same person & team. Gosh...J and FXP also human. Just give them more time. By the way FXP43 just released. Go try that Rom and report the bug properly if you want this Rom asap.
And btw, we are not allowed to ask for ETA. Stick to the forum rule. Cheers

This rom is great, but the camera app sucks! No 720p, no zoom in/out, no face detection and more stuff from stock GB camera app. Stock camera app looks much better. It Is Possible to replace CM7 FXP camera with stock GB camera app? Rom is really brilliant, fast, stable and smoothly, but this flaw really pisses me off.

Maybe because SE support for devs wasn't good enough? I've read that Sony provided libs and stuff for fxp team, which is awesome, but i'm afraid it was mostly for the 2011 ones.
