Newer kernel than 2.6.29 fully working.

what about getting flash to work?

Awaiting patiently for a port of SENSE UI (GB) for our tattoo

Probably gettin SENSE Froyo rom 100% working xD thats all thats left

I will when my contracts up in a month! You really are not going to get any more out of the Tattoo. Don't get me wrong, the devs have done a great job and its usable with Gingerbread, but you're not going to get any more out of the Tattoo without a GPU.

Has anyone tried to port 2.6.38.2 ?

There is still some work on the FM app.
Scanning and maybe rds could be implemented in the GUI.
Weird enough, there are almost no other apps for FM radio.

I hate to write on this thread again but does running a GUI that's been designed for a dual core, 1.2ghz phone with a fast GPU... on a Tattoo... seem like a good idea to you?
Unless you're going to port it yourself... why don't you just use ADW and be happy?

your right it should work... just i would imagine it will be a chopped down or more laggy version which isn't really what anybody wants haha if your too obsessed with flash then turn your pc on or upgrade phone lol its just a budget phone we can all push it to an extent but not too much . n tbh 400mhz should really be enough to power basic flash if implemented correctly so 600+ should be enough to have basic flash running smooth. wouldn't bother with heavier flash though click just aint got it its a budget phone at best

2 requests: Timescape V2 and Arc Mediascape

Hi,
As the title says, if anyone can point me to the right direction to get the Timescape V2 arc widget (Which is apparently much more responsive) and the arc mediascape widget (Which I am not sure is out, just wondering), that'd be great. Thanks.

I don't think that the media apps work but you can find a flashable version of timescape in the x10 mini themes section.

Since you never clearly say which ROM you are using... Arc Timescape works only in Android 2.2 or above.
The rest I guess will work with X10 Stock firmware.

X10's 2.3.3 software will be released shortly, it is currently being tested.

2. The user experience is not as smooth as the Arc, which (hopefully) SE would enhance the smoothness of the firmware.
3. The 3D performance is not as good, the FPS is does not go over 30 in Neocore (30fps limit in our kernal)
PS:
1. Forgot to test how many touches are detected.
2. There is not enough time for writer to test, we need to test (play with it) for a while.
3 and 4 are irrelevant to what we are worrying about
5. The writer does not know how to extract the rom, and therefore would not be providing it.

yeah the kernel looks to be relatively the same as the current one....

This is x10n not arc. Besides, it's still being developed, no reason to think it won't change.

The reason why he left it was because on ecalir HTC had put many restrictions and locked every Apk very tightly
It would be easier now because people for MOTO Droid with a diff chipset omap and powervgr have ported it
The main thing is decompiling and changing parameters
Like swappiness , RAM , etc

I dunno much about this stuff, but there was another thread about it recently & if I remember correctly even achotjan was involved but nothing released, maybe you should contact those & J, to avoid starting from zero

I've been wanting to try AOSP GB with fps fix and custom kernel from J's 2nd post but I'm not familiar with making boot.img's so I'm trying to look into steps of how to make one... BB.67 btw

Pm sent back and its cos of the customization of MIUI that makes it a great rom
We already have Trip and Cobrato working on it so why would we need another MIUI rom? Doesn't. make sense....
I want to see another rom which isn't on the x10 yet

Some people really need to improve their English here and besides, there has been not a single bugless software released in the computer world.
@OP -- I say go for it, and make it available for all basebands since we have kernels supporting all basebands now.

Kernels are available for all basebands but as of yet roms aren't
And because you cannot use internet whilst in phonecall on 2.0.XX (.46.49.52) and other things,roms on 2.1.XX (.54.55.58.61.65.67) are recommended for battery and signal strength

i dont know why you prefer it,but every body has their own taste. i doubt any dev would want to work on this.so dont get your hopes high

i prefer somebody port timescape and mediascape from 1.6 or 2.1..
timescape on 2.3 is totally useless; media players have barely any function; and most importantly, infiniteview only links you to the phonebook..
and actually 1.6's background picture is very pretty in my opinion if you compare with the three android system SE provides
