i have the same problem here!!
Guys pls help
The usb message your seeing means it is connected by usb. You should be able to continue. Not sure activesync recognises magldr.

Im sorry if im wrong but ofcourse your phone wont get regonized by active sync anymore because you took off windows mobile from your phone when you installed nand. Just be paitence when u connect your phone to your computer and it will deffently get regonized and you will be ready to flash new roms.

When you see this usb...usb you are connected.
Now right click daf.exe or android inastaller.exe or whatever the name and choose "run as administrator" and the install should start
read the second link in my signature
It says it is connected but when I run as admin it says usb init failure. What do I do then?

I saw a few posts about this problem. The fix is to reflash HSPL and load Magldr again.

Not able to make a usb connection to the phone when in Magldr
Error Description: USB init failed
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (723)
Go to the Activesync icon in the bottom right corner, right click on it and untick the option "Allow usb connections" and then connect the device again. Run daf.exe (or install.exe) as administrator by right clicking on it and selecting the option (if using Windows7 or Vista). Hopefully the usb drivers will then install and the Android Rom will flash.
Another option could be to uninstall and reinstall Activesync or to try different usb ports on your pc. If that doesnt work and you have Windows XP then you need to try on a machine with Vista or Windows 7.
If none of this works then try taking out your micro SD Card and repeating the process or flash a Custom Rom before you flash Magldr rather than a Stock Rom.
Lastly you could try starting the NAND installer with the phone unplugged and then plugged the phone in. The installer should immediately detect your device and proceed to flash.
ok. so im trying to install MAGLDR111 on my hd2. i downloaded everything necessary (magldr111, NAND ROM). when i open up the udpate utility on magldr, i check all the boxes so i can proceed to the next step. ok, so i get to the next step, so on and so forth. i have 2.08 hspl, but when i enter the bootloader tri-color screen, its just stuck. i get a ERROR [260]. i then exit the box and unplug the usb cable and plug it in again but it just stays stuck on serial. doesnt go into usb or anything, just serial. so i try the whole process all over again and i get the same thing!! someone PLEASE HELP!!! would be very much appreciated!!!!!
Reinstall usb drivers on your pc.

When i try to install hspl3 an error message comes up saying "This application has failed to start because RAPI.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
I tried switching usb ports, sitll don't work
I booted into bootloader, and tried connecting with disk drive, still same error message
Sometimes my computer wouldn't let me install the drivers, but i tried a laptop at my friends house, it's saying the same thing on mine, with the drivers installed
Please help, im trying to install android nand
My SPl is 2.10.0000 and i know hspl3 supports that
Try this one, Extract the zip and run as administrator.
Do as the post above tells you too. Right click on the DFT utility and run it as administrator this is a must or you will get a error message everytime when trying to flash HSPL.
Rapi.DLL error is usually associated to activesync /wmdc not being up to date. Go download and install activesync for XP or wmdc for vista or 7. Yes. It's probably already installed, install it again.
Thankyou very much guys, it worked!
Hello guys , how are you? I'm just misserable and in a mess. Got a new phone and something went terribly wrong while trying to flash it with the Android. I'm stuck in Magldr 1.13 and it does not want to connect to the usb. Tried TTY mode and my PC does not recognize the phone. This is what I got in the MAGLDR, DAF file .
Readme.txt for this release is missing.

Read below for more information
Error Description: Config load failed.
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (725)
Error Description: CONFIG: can't open config file
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (304)
When installing HSPL , my SPL was 2.08.0000. I selected the 2.08 HSPL. Then it updated my ROM to 2.0 from 2.10 . Radio is still at 2.08.50.
I'm the dum... that bricked his phone so please let me know if there is anything that I can do. Thanks a lot
Try goin into the standart bootloader (vol- and power)
If u get in there, u can flash a shipped WM6.5 rom again and everything is stock
Are you trying to flash a rom?
If so use USB Flasher in the MAGLDR menu
i had a problem when i tried flashing a rom through magldr USB Flasher.. computer wouldn't install it and i couldn't use it.. well.. then i tried USB Mass Storage option and after my comp installed the device i tried USB Flasher mode and VOILA! it worked!
try something like that, and upgrade that radio.. newer roms acquire newer radio to work properly..
you get that error when you dont run daf.exe as admin in vista or windows 7.
right click, go to properties, go to compatibility and choose run as admin.

I need help, I'm trying to install android but when I go to install the MAGLDR it keeps giving me error 262, I'm not very computer savy but I've been following the instructions step by step. I'd appreciate anyone's help .
Put phone in bootloader yourself,
Connect USB
Run romupdateutility NOT daf.exe
