My ROM is [Android 2.3] CyanogenMod for Vision 7.0.0-RC2. I feel the gravity sensor of my G2 is not very accurate, but I can't find such tool like the "G-Sensor" to adjust it in this ROM. Who can help me...T.T.
... thats odd. Never had that issue before.

Does anyone else see the camera thing in the upper left of the G2? Looks like a camera to me.... It's not easy to see but it's there. Sorry if this has been brought up before...
What do you know about the front camera?

That's probably the proximity sensor.

The G2 does not have one. That is the poximity sensor and light sensor I believe.

Uhmmmm.....I don't have a G2 but im pretty shure what your seeing is the proximity sensor for the phones screen to turn off when you put it up to your face.
Nah its light sensor and proximity sensor. Sorry

it would have been sweet if it was a camera to do chat and stuff but no, its a sensor
This is exactly what I said when I first received the phone, I was just hoping I was wrong and when we started rooting this device and looked at the internals, we found a FFC.
If it was just empty space, I'm sure one of the hackers here would have installed one just like the Samsung Vibrant.
I'm always amazed at how tolerant this community is of sheer stupidity.
I don't know what happened but the other day my touchscreen started acting up. For some reason the knock on doesn't work at all, but knock off does. Also there is like a strip about a half inch from the top of my screen where the touchscreen just does not work. I can't click on anything in that area. I'm running OptimuS v 2.2

Nobody else has had this problem?

Not with stock KK ROM, nope. Maybe others can help you. Otherwise I'd recommend doing factory reset. If that doesn't help, returning to stock to see if it's the ROM or hardware.
Im having that same problem im on stock rom it has never been droped i dont know how to fix it and now it gives me an alert saying it detects my screen is broken although its not
I have the Verizon variant on stock the screen will randomly shutoff sometimes they say if you put your hand over the sensor it will do that but it does it even when I'm not touching the phone on cm11 Roms its the opposite i will turn screen on and when I set it down on the table it will turn back on I am so fed up with it doing and if it keeps doing this I will buy a nexus 5 or maybe the new oppo when it comes out

Do you use a screen protector?
No screen protector it seems to do it sometimes but when it does do it it is very bad and almost impossible to use

I'm on the VZW variant too and don't have that issue. So I'm almost thinking its hardware. Probably the proximity sensor is messed up. I do think I remember some developer having that same problem and it was a hardware issue. Are you running a custom ROM too?

Try entering the service menu and testing the proximity sensor.
I believe it might be a hardware problem.
I did that it helps it doesn't do it as much but still does occasionally hate to get a new one that I can't root or install custom recovery
Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
I would hate for it to not have custom recovery do you know if shellnutt figured out what was going on with freegee it only does it sometimes I don't have much options for a new phone
Samsung yuck maybe an oppo they seem nice if it keeps doing this I have a friend that would love this phone hopefully it will stop it has only done it once today

Hi Guys
I have the international version of the LG G2 Build Number: KOT49I.D80220b Software Version: D80220b-SEA-XX. I do not get the option of hiding front touch buttons which others have on their LG G2 why is that? And if this is region dependant then why does LG release first to soem regions first then to others? :silly: Will i be getting an update for hiding the front touch buttons? I already have the knock code update.
Thankyou in advance.
I noticed this too. Haven't found any other way to hide it other that GMD auto hide soft keys from Google play. Its aggravating. I would love it if someone would port that feature.

I have read that there is a touch screen issue on cm11. I am not entirely sure what that means. I just finally rooted my s5 and want to install cm11 but this issue is stopping me from installing the Rom. Can someone please explain to me what this touch screen issue is and does it completely ruin the phone experience?

No it doesn`t. Been using it myself and the latest 30.8 build is awesome. Its fast, fluid and very stable. Definately suited as a daily driver imo.
