[Q] yahoo mail - full site - Xoom General

is it possible to view full site on mail.yahoo.com on the xoom?

I don't know if you're just trying to get mail, but you can just set up Yahoo! mail on the stock email application. Do you want me to tell you the settings to make it work?

Any idea's ? Any third party email clients ???
Also.. Anyone have a IMAP email account ?? I can not view any email in the HOME folder (inbox) I can only see email in the SUB folders.

[Q] email on neotouch

my gf's neotouch has the last official rom 3.00c with windows mobile 6.5
she wants to read email, but everytime she sign in hotmail the e-mail app open internet explorer to let her sign in...
So it is not a real email client...
how can she have a real email client on her phone?
thanks
i noticed this too.
so there is no way?!
Try this:
http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/911354-exchange-activesync-hotmail-settings-apparently-working/
Here you can set your hotmail as a exange server. You have more advanced settigs than POP and IMAP, better support for settings download intervals and best of all:
Push email service free! (something like blackberry etc. it does drain your battery quickly so don't let it check for mail all day/night)
You have to make these settings in the active sync menu on the neotouch. If this all doesn't work i suggest she takes a gmail account ( I never had any problems an you can import your hotmail into gmail, but try the above site first)
Good Luck!
hotmail
actually I have the possibility of the motmail client on mobile without using the browser.
Did you already use a MS account (hotmail, live, etc..) on the phone? for example you use an account for the wm marketplace?
I had that result when I tried putting 2 msn clients.

1. That's a different problem......
2. The method I descriped doesn't use the mobile browser. It also uses the build in, native, wm mailing program
thanks a lot but I didn't understand well hot to set up the mail...
I have to go to active sync icon on wm
set the field like in the link you've posted and then?
How I can set that I want to check the email manually? and not automatically?
because I don't need push notification all time, because my gf doesn't have a flat connection to the web, she just left her phone on wifi connection when she is at home

[q] want to migrate from winmo 6.5 to android, but want to keep hotmail (full html)!

I am tires of WINMO 6.5, and WP7 is not what I want. The only thing is that I can't give up my hotmail, and NO I don't want POP3 version, and the exchange trick won't show me attachments..... not html etc.
I want hotmail to behave like any an regular email client.
As of now this is how I am setup on winmo 6.5:
1. PH#s (contacts with PH#s) + Calendar = Gmail, synced via microsoft exchange (I do this because I use Google voice)
2. Email (Hotmail) + Email contacts - synced via windows live email client
Any advise will be greatly appreciated. Also... I would like to combine somehow all my contacts in one directory that will be synced somehow between gmail (for google voice texts and calls) and hotmail (since I use this all over my PC's and add contacts from different locations. Can I do all this and use ANDROID?? Please help!! Thank you!!! - Peter
On my phone, I use the included email app in CM7, and just enter email/pass and it gets hotmail fine, full html and attachments.
or you can root, install Cyanogenmod, then put browser as a desktop agent....and you can veiw it just as if you were on a normal computer
Gmail has always worked great for me on android. Its a must when you check your mail on multiple devices. Android lets you save contacts to your gmail account, so you can edit your phone contacts in gmail. Im sure you could then import the contacts to hotmail.
I posted how to's in your other thread. Not posting them again here.

What is CM7? Also, when you check your hotmail from your phone, doest is show checked in your desktop version as well? Is it synced both ways? Or just pop3?

It is a one way sync, CM7 is a custom ROM for android. What phone are you planning to get? I've heard there is someway to get GMail to send over all your hotmail stuff and use it as a 2 way sync, but im not sure. Microsoft always kept Hotmail hard to access from non-microsoft products.

How to adjust settings for email in huawei nova

Hi,
Does anyone know how to adjust the settings in a huawei nova so the email accepts a yahoo account that has a large number of emails. I have managed to load up my gmail account but although it accepts the password for my yahoo mail, it will not refresh the account and pull in the email..I assume that this is because it exceeds the upper limit of emails in an account that a huawei nova will download, does anyone know how I can adjust this. I can view emails in my phone using the yahoo app but this has advertising and I would rather use the phones own email service.
Thanks
Hi,
I don't recommend you to use the stock mail app. It's a beautiful app but for many accounts, there's no push option. By default, the accounts are synchronized once per hour.

You will need to check the Yahoo website to make sure you give permission to use an "insecure" email app. Although, as far as I know, the stock email from Android 5+ (speaking under correction) should be secure enough for Yahoo, but that is the only thing I can think of that will prevent your emails from updating.

You could still use the Gmail app to check your Yahoo emails, couldn't you?
