but i wanted to share a program I was recently introduced to.
Free PTT for any Windows mobile phone.
Works with;
mobile to mobile
mobile to pc
pc to pc
Uses wifi and data.
And it even chirps just like nextel

this is extremely cool. just tried it. work very well. some delay.. but i guess it's because i'm downloading and uploading at almost max speed.

Now heres the cool thing.
Say i send you a message, or 3 days ago i sent you a message.
click on the > next to the persons name and you can re listed to the message.

yes. No button mapping needed.. PTT button is a software button on program.

I also can verify that it is working nicely, a few glitches to work out all in good time. I used HButton to remap the program so when minimized it comes up, then on my wizard I use the center on the d pad and hold while I talk then release. Just like nextel, bit slower but free, what can I say! You have to (sender and receiver) both be set up on the system to communicate but that doesn't take too long to get set up. Put the word out and we can all help work out the kinks so this system can run smoothly. Remeber before you lauch you must already be connected to the internet. Andason is also correct, if you leave it open then you would not have to do any mapping at all as the program uses the select button on your phone. If it is a different button on your phone it will not be difficult to find by trial and error. Remapping isn't that difficult and HButton is a free program, works great...................Later.

Hey Voltage do you know how a person with a touch screen only (no hardware buttons) can utilize this great software. Is there an issue because of the lack of a default hardware button to access?

Great application. Works on Wifi with obvious delay. It did work with the T-mobile proxy plan but was obviously slow and unusable.

What advantages does this give over Palringo which also does voice, pics and text.....
Is there a review somewhere?

Ok, been messing a bit with this, dosent work when installed to storage card for me i dont even get an icon, and i cant add any contacts with it installed to device or add a group all i see is echo which is myself...what am i doing wrong i cant find any info on it
****edit*** NM i guess u have to install the desktop app to add people, which i dont understand at all, so i guess whoever you want to PTT has to have this installed also with an account, i guess i can see some fuctionality, but i wont be using this personally most people i know wont use this type of app

this has been addressed and is being fixed.
please look at the skinzone forum linked above.

new cab for LoudTalks
There is a new release of the program here, many bugs have been addressed. If you are an existing user of "LoudTalks" then after loading the cab when the box comes up to enter new usernames and password just hit cancel in the botom right corner and then the boxes for existing users comes up. Enter in your username and password and you will be up and running.

With this Id like to request a certain application that would increase my uptodateness by a lot. Yes a twitterplugin , cause i love twitter actually.

Okay so basicly it has a
tabslide for updating your status
tabslides for unread tweets*
*cause tweets will only have 140 characters.. it will be possible to show them completely in the tabslide itself.. hovering over means.. it is read

it has a function to show like unread text/email... but than how many unread tweets.
it should have a notification option in the sound/alarms section inside wm6.5 options.. so you can add your own sound/vibrate/mute to it.
and most important.. it should run in backround.. without popping up in the taskmessenger.
it should have options for how many times a day it will update (5 minutes/30 minitues etc)

extra - a sort of extra inprogram window ( this will mean you go out of wm6.5 today ). where you can see all tweets. or at least latest 100 or something
I hope someone can develop this, cause i think personally it will have a big target audience Me myself.. aint a programmer.. would like to, but i simply dont know where to start on it and/or how!

Isn't twitter accessible via standard SMS? I thought most people use twitter in tandem with their built-in SMS system, and since you already have a txt plugin on titanium you should be good to go!
Sure, it would be nice to see the mailboxes kept seperate between tweets and all else, but personally I'd like to see an RSS feed or active tasks (i.e. the PIM tasks) since there is currently no other way to get that on the 6.5 today screen.

Not necessarily. I said it CAN be used in tandem with SMS, and it shares many similarities (limited character message size, etc), however that doesn't mean you get charged for each tweet.
I don't know anything about pocketwit, but it may use data instead of SMS.
Most people I know use standard SMS instead of data, especially if they don't own a smartphone.
While I would agree that a twitter plugin is a cool idea (if you sms a lot, your tweets could get lost in the crowd), there are other potential plugins as I already mentioned that currently have no alternative. If it were up to me, I'd like to see those come out first.

gotcha!! but off hand do you know if pocketwit uses data or sms???

ye pocket twit is using data .. you can send tweets by email i believe but of cours that would still be data connection required

It should be possible to build a panel a bit like Shocos Weather panel which comes in two MortScript parts:
1. Settings, stores stuff in the registry like username, password and frequencies of updates, default Twitter app
2. The downloading of the tweet, shouldn't be too hard as it's pretty similar to the weather panel (might need a little work on the avatars), just need the RSS feed [although saying that, I'm not 100% sure you can get a password requested XML file with Mort, damm!].
The only thing that I can't see being possible is the update page, as I'm not aware of any input boxes on the tabs, instead you could have a page showing your status, with clicking on it bringing up a Mort prompt for the new status.

My new contact widget has no limit contact.
It is a big release with a view of the selected contact on click.
Will come in a few day a medium and a small release of my contact widget.
EDIT2: This is three screenshots of small contact widget, medium contact widget and the menu which open when you click on a contact. I will publish an English release of my work on next week on the market.
EDIT3: Actually my widget supports English. It is published whith contact's widget. It is still a beta release... but you can report to me bugs or idea to my mail [email protected].
EDIT4: My App is now final release. I found why I have my last bug. Tell me what you think about! I will continu my work
EDIT5: Add calendar widget in two sizes. Small and Hight. The small have a unique view but hight have three. Month view, Next event view and day view. You can click on the day you want to see in the month view.

It's great to see you overcome the problem you had before with accessing the sms database. BTW, is the app translated into english? The description in the app market is only in french, so maybe you might want to change that too.
A recommendation though: I would consider making the beta free in order to gain more user base, and after release a paid final version. There are ways to make the app have time limit, so you could make it have like a 30 day limit, just in time when you will release the final app. It's only my advice but it is your work and your decision Anyway .6 EUR seems cheap

I am serching for someone who could help to develop a New home. Because actual default home do not permit animations, listview or gridview like we could find on HTC Sense or tat home.
I think that anybody should have the choice to choose his home with any phone... I know... I'm not free. But I'm disappointed by the price of other widget like "pure" or other's...
may I a day make those free and make the animated and more paid release. But alone, this day is very far...

Just picked them up from market.. is love to see some skins implemented later on. Great work so far.

I want to work on a calendar widget but I have some dificulties to overcome like the fact there's not the calendar app on the emulator.

It looks really nic, but I'm having the same issues (facebook problem+phone icon) + when I try to set up an email account it says "com.dell.launcher has stopped unexpectedly"..
would be great to be able to scroll upd and down in the music widget instead of showing 12 random albums..

It wont recognise the phone app because the froyo launcher only recognises the stock Android dialer, which can't be installed on HTC phones. Made a thread on this, Google search stock froyo launcher HTC desire and its the first one. Haven't tried it with this dell skin yet, just got everything sorted on my on phone so not gonna mess with it for a good while!

This works fine. Except for the Facebook and email widget.

Wow, i love the launcher and the gallery and music widget. Is it somehow possible to use the widgets with the sense launcher or the sense widgets with the sense launcher?

Cool. Oh and app version numbers would be helpful, so we can see if it's an update to what we already have or not. You have quoted them on some, but not all (e.g. camera, launcher, calendar etc.)

Wait - I'm new to Huawei, so bear with me, what is the point of these apps? Surely the Leica camera is better than the Huawei camera app? Also how do these apps differ to what is already installed on my phone? Are they new releases that I didn't get because my phone is rooted?

None of the apps will install on my P9, or id they do install they don't work
Plus I'm sick and tired of having to close the mobile app adverts that are telling me I have a virus, that's one shady download site

Purpose of these apps are
1- Many rooted users mistakenly delete apps and search herw and therw for apps so they can put them into their phone again.
2- Some apps are updated version of the stock android apps, like Huawei id, HiCloud, File manager, Office, backup, etc etc and have some new features,

Bro, now a days, every website contains too much ads, and one simple solution that i found is Adguard for non rooted is best one and block all kind of apps,
