I have a problem with Keyboard htc snap s521.After jtag operation few keys have changed their position and the Trackball is not function when I pres on him left and right it ok.
Please help me.
Any Ideas???

Have you tried a hard reset?
Or perhaps try removing the app that caused this and start from there

I don't know which application has caused this. This problem has appeared after restoring the boot zone and installin wm 6.5.I have also installed wm 6.1 but I'm facing the same problem.
Now I see something strange.I entered in bootloader and tell me Mapl100 but under battery is Mapl110.It is a connection whit my prloblem?And the phone is now S520 not S521.
How to change S520 to S521?

I had the same problem once. Hit 0 and 1 (or is it 1 and 2) when it displays the boot-up screen. I think that kind of does a hard reset. Mine is working fine now.

yes, i tried softreset, hardreset and ROM upgrade to wm 6.1...
Are you under warranty? I'd press HTC for an exchange. Make sure you put it back to a stock configuration before you do.

Since recently I have a weird problem. It started with typing a SMS via the keyboard. When I hit the letter L the device became inresponsive. I softresetted my Wizard and tried again. Same thing.
I then used my virtualkeyboard instead. Same thing. So it doesn't appear to be a hardware issue.
I have reinstalled Windows via a Hard Reset, and it happened again.
This is very annoying since I have to think of text without using the letter L.
Now the annoying part is that since today it is also with the letter A sometimes.
Anyone got any ideas ?

i've got the same problem with "d". I'll try to fix this by going back to the original rom and then flash my actual rom again.
Does anyone else have an idea ? It is really annoying.
Ok, extra symptom. It still happens when pressing L or A, but not all the time.
And apparantly it's NOT a complete freeze, I managed to get in the Taskmanager where I found that the SMS application goes into a 100% cpu utilisation, eventually rendering the system unoperable.
I recently reloaded the os to a different version and found that now the screen does not work. The keys work and everything else works except for the touchscreen. I am trying to find Windows Mobile 6.0 professional but i can't find it anywhere. I have Windows Mobile 6.5 but I have no idea if i can load it successfully. If so do I need load a special or something? Any help is great.

I hav tried hard reset, flashing ROM with new version but nothing works!
When I start my elf, it ask me to tap the screen. when I tap it, it will go to screen where you calibrate the screen, after that nothing works.
but backlight turns on when I tourch the screen.
I still trying to figure out what is the problem with my elf.
Pls adive if you find any info on this.
I love this phone, I dont want to lose it

did you press correctly on every "+" signs (total 5)? else it will repeat the same wizard again and again. another thing is try using stylus to press on the signs, more accurate.
else it could be corrupted rom flash. Did it happened before?
No it didnt happend before.....only when i flash a new rom. i press everything as i should
Go for another ROM. Cloudy maybe?
