Hi!
I also have a problem with my phone.
I think the same as you described.
Mine also froze and after that, the phone won't go further then the white bootscreen. I also tried, several times, to hard reset it and install the latest ROM.
Mine doesn't go further then 0%. Today my phone is going to be picked up for repair. I think you should call HTC Repair service.
good luck!

isn't that one of the tester (special) hd2's??? You might want to search hd2 gold card.

sure you arent thinking of the ones that came with low RAM and 0.x spl?
However goldcard isn't a bad suggestion, assuming the OP has another winmo phone he can use to create it...

Loop in startscreen

My hd2 loops in startscreen, htc appears, then the rom and radioinformation down left and then it restarts and again and again, but only with synccable, with only battery it is dead. Nothing happens.
Now i´m able do get the bootloaderscreen (rgb and white) and usb-connection and flash everything I want, with the same result as above.
I flashed stock rom, originally o2-rom, radio-rom only a.s.o., same result, htc-screen with radio and thats it, restart.
Is there anything i can try before sending it back to htc?
The bootscreen says:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-1.42.HSPL XE
0x05
CotullaHSPL 0x30
so HSPL is installed, and usb connection works.
The explanation why i got this problem depends on voice command, i´ll tried to change some files, because the speech was too fast to heare it.
Is there anything that i can flash, thats really helps?
The next problem is, that i can´t boot the orinal rom from sd-card, because without cable nothing happens, and with cable thres is only usb to flash.
Nobody there with some instruments that may be only technicans use? Clean the complete ram and rom and what else is there? Or is it a real hardwareroblem that can´t be fixed?
if you have hspl you could flash a ROM using customRUU from the bootloader i think. Have you tried a hardreset (hold volume up and down and reset button)? i had the same problem but for me switching the phone off for a few hours (i didn't have access to a pc) it booted up and i flashed a stock ROM. its a bad rom flash thats the problem. once and if you can get it booted be sure to follow the instructions on the mtty thread or flash a stock ROM before each and every custom one.
EDIT : Haven't read it properly. seems worse than my problem. simple thing are you battery contacts good and making a proper connection? Only other thing i can think.

Try MTTY with your device.
is a battery problem?
excuse for my poor english....
I think that if you can not flash your HTC HD2, I think the problem is in the battery.
If the battery is discharged below 50% you are not allowed to flash.
Instead if you start flashing when the battery is above 50% but during the operation the battery falls below this threshold, the flashing operation stops generating an error (usually error 220). This is due to the fact that the device is not recharged during the upgrade radio.

Problems after flashing original TMO-Rom (flash type 5510BCAD)

Hi there,
I´ve got a problem with my HTC HD2 after flashing the original ROM T-Mobile:
"ruu_leo_tmo_de_1.72.111.4_radio_crc_signed_15.32.50.07u_2.07.51.22_2_ship"
Bootloader has been flashed with HSPL2 to "SPL 1.66.HSPL" to run task 29 before flashing the rom.
The problems after the rom-flash are:
- cant call or be called
- g-sensor doesnt work
- no audio playback at all
After powering the phone a gray screen appears, telling me the following:
flash type 5510BCAD
power reason 1
BOOTUP_W_PWR_KEY_PRESSED
After some seconds the phone continues to boot.
The phone shows the folowing data:
Bootloader:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-1.66.0000 XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(TOUCH) 0x40
Anyone knows of a solutions for this or is it a "warranty"-case?
Help would be really appreciated!
Kind regards
Martin
I have never come across this, but the first thing I would be inclined to do is a reflash, it may well have been a dodgy flash.

PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0x05
CotullaHSPL 0x30
this writes in the boot screen.
did you just flash a cooked rom and haven't yet changed the radio?
probably. ive no idea what to do know to be honest ive given it to repair they said the main board needs to be changed but i dont think its a hardware problem. could u tell me what to do. step by step. i flashed a rom thats true but i havent flashed a radio before doing it.

I think you forgot to flash Radio ROM - look into thread of the ROM you flashed, there must be info about radios which are "approved"
thing is i dont know which rom is flashed right now and ive no idea about the radio also.

First of all - if you want to do something - read first and gather some info, otherwise you'll have problems.
And if the problem really is with radio, then try THIS first, it should help
just flash a high version radio, which should work regardless of what rom is there.
2.12.50.x or 2.10.50, one of them.
I am flashing the radio from sd and it says
00018003
LEOIMG.nhb - FAIL
Radio - Fail
Update Terminate
Update fail
i am no expert but perhaps try following this method picking a rom you like and also an exceptable radio. good luck
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6933055&postcount=14111
try flashing a different rom and see what happens

oh right its been back to service and got refused,
run hspl2,
choose a stock spl (so 1.66.0000 for a normal hd2 or hspl3 and choose 2.08.0000 for a tmous phone,) and send it back again.
hspl wont change the version =(
oh, well all i can suggest then is you try hspl2, ever option, and hspl3, every option, , maybe one of them can trigger the spl to change.
wont work =(

[Q] Leo stucked at HTC Starting screen

Hi,
I've tried to install Android on my HD2, and I guess something has bone wrong.
I've installed the HSPL 3 package, that was ok.
Then I've moved to MAGLDR installation, it was ok until the reboot, after seeing 100% on the installation process, it boot and then get stucked on the starting screen, where you can read HTC with their logo.
I've tried to perform a hard reset. Seems ok, then I press Vol Up. First, the restore time is really short (less than a second), then I press Vol Up again to boot, and I get back to HTC Starting screen...
Do you have any idea about what I'm supposed to do?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Edit :
And when I press Vol Down before power on, I got the 4 color screen with :
On the red box PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0x05
CotullaHSPL 0x30
On the green box Nothing
On the Blue box Nothing
On the white box Serial

Well, pardon me for saying this but you should have searched the forum and google before. So many people have seen this problem before. After hard reset, you don't have anything left on the device so just re-install.
Should work.
Thanks a lot for your reply I feel at least release, my Leo isn't dead
I did actually spent some time over google and this forum, but haven't identified any problems siilar than mine... Sorry about that.
Now you tell me that I'm supposed to reinstall, fine but... how? I know how to when you can connect the mobile to the computer with Active Sync, but without... no idea.
Could you please gie me a clue?
Read this thread carefully.
All of the steps you need are in there.
First you will need to flash a compatible Radio if you haven't done this already.
Then you need to flash the Android ROM you want to use.

[Q][Help] Android rom inssue crash on kernel (HSPL Installed?)

Hi guys. Im trying to install android on my HD2 as you may have guessed. First I have tried getting HSPL installed. It is from Virgin Mobile. It is not locked to a network as I run an 02 simcard in it.
To confirm this is already working my bootloader reads:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0x05
CotullaHSPL 0x40
It is has tri-colour and a white at bottom which reads "serial" that is then blank.
If this is correct all is good so far.
I then try and install android from my SD card (have tried multiple versions, all resulting in the same issue)
It boots up and starts running. Every version freezes on Loading Kernel.. or it runs and starts to blur out.
What am I missing in this process?
I have given as much information as I can think of. I look forward to your replies. Sadly I cant get online to tomorrow but look forward to a positive response xD

Hi,
I think you missed a couple of steps in the process.
please read this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893948
Check also my sig...guide number 2
Ok I think the difficulty may be something entirely different.
Ive tried installing all kinds of bits and pieces inc the new radio and magldr but they all seem to have the same issue.
When installing the phone reboots but once it loads to the bootloader it no longer detects it on the computer i get a three low beeps (like when a cable is unplugged)
Could this be an issue with my laptop specificly?
Fixed one thing.. turns out my laptop was missing the qualcomm drivers and not updating automatically so was just dropping the phone from the computer..
...ive installed magldr and new radios.. trying to boot android of SD card but it seems to be freezing on the black on green HTC logo display... im sure this issue has came up somewhere else so if someone can point me to a fix while i struggle on and see what I can find on my own back
first load should take longer than usual. just give it around 15 minutes.
