Urgently need to revert to stock HSPL

Guys,
Help me out ASAP please.
I have an HD2 which screen isn't working and need to give for repair.
The problem is I already flashed Energy ROM and now I need to revert back to stock ROM.
I have reflashed my drive to shipped ROM, but when I go to the boot loader (Vol down power) I get the following:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-1.42.HSPL XE
0x05
CotullaHSPL 0x30
I don't think that is the stock HSPL, or whatever its name is. How do I get my device back to stock situation??? I must give the device tomorrow for repair so I really don't have any time. Have to do it ASAP.

Check the link above, and read.

run hspl2 and choose 1.42.0000

That's odd, coz when you flash a stock ROM via SD-Card it practically overwrites everything in the cellphone (including SPL, Radio, bootscreen) to stock values..
Anyway in case you flashed the stock ROM using the customruu utility, just launch hspl3 again---> select SPL 1.42.0000 from the drop down list----> flash that and you should be good to go.

hspl2, , ,, hspl3 doesnt have 1.42.0000 as an option.

[Q] Is there any hope for my HD2

I recently came across a hd2 from some kid on craigslist. He said that the phone was frozen at the "stick together" logo. I have done some reading on here and seen a guy with a similar problem. He says that he downloaded the update from the t-mobile website. I tried that and the phone keep coming up with some error saying the phone was in recovery mode. I noticed that the image version was blank before I tried the update. This is what the phone says in the bootloader color screen-
PB81120 MFG SS-B3
SPL-2.00.1000 XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(TOUCH) 0x50
Please tell me if there is anything I can do with this phone.

mfg on top line and spl 2.00.1000 say it has a manufacturing spl. as far as i was aware only non tmous pre tmous release test/manufacturing roms shipped with that spl.
you should read through the various "stuck on spl 2.00 threads. but you !!!!!!MUST!!!!!! tread very carefully, because as i said, the early version 2.x roms aren't necessarily compatible with tmous(especially the radios they contain) this is because the first tmous roms were for the regular hd2, so had regular radio's even though the radio version said ..50..
might be worth messaging a user called xmoo, he knows a lot about test roms and such like.
also worth getting a goldcard made, though i know to begin with (pre tmous days) even goldcard wouldn't shift spl 2.00.
lots and lots of research first.

You could try to flash HSPL and then install a custom rom and is this a Tmobile phone? meaning is there Tmobile written near the ear piece?
Also maybe htc could help you under warranty

HD2 Bricked?HELP?

i just got my phone back from the company,
everythings was stock,
so what i did, i tried to install HSPL3_PKG and flashed succesfully SPL 2.08.0000
Then after the reboot, i got ''white htc'' screen, i waited 5min nothing happend.
SO i thought the radio, i have to update the radio...
I tried to install the Radio 2.15.50.14 It failed at 96% (??? why.. idk)
THen i thought, there is no ROM on it, i downloaded ENERGY LEO 29700 (some WM ROM) tried to install it, but it doesnt go further then 0%.
SO im stuck with my hd2 White screen,
when i Hold volume down and start it up
i get:

SPL-2.08.0000 8G XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(TOUCH) 0x30
The phone just came from back with a new motherboard.
my old one was damaged, i never had problems with flashing....
So any one any advice?

for that i have to install SPL 2.08.0000
also a radio above 2.05
my radio was to low, so i tried to update it, but failed,
i dont want that stupid WM,

It seems you havent proper hard spl your device
you need to install stock original rom first then do HSPL again then you can upgrade your radio or go to Android

Slow down before u really brick your phone. . . . Or get flamed on here to death
In order
1. Task 29
2. Flash to 2.15 radio
3. Flash a stock or stock like ROM
4. Do what ever you want
BUT FIRST OF ALL(LIKE STEP ZERO) make sure you have HSPL

I just Flashed it from,
SPL 2.08.HSPL
TO SPL.2.08.0000
and after ''succesfull'' didnt show ''we hacked it ''
it doesnt go on any more, the battery is full i got another htc hd2 next to me, thats working fine on it.
and now bricked?

Flash it back to a hspl version the 00000 version is the stock one for warranty purposes ...

How to flash it for warranty purpose? if it doesnt connect to the pc, boatloader any more? because i do have warranty on it..

does it go to bootloader mode press and hold vol down + power together
if it does then its chance to recover it

i mean the last time it was started up,
i flashed SPL-2.08.HSPL to SPL-2.08.0000 (succesfully installed)
then it didnt start up anymore.

You must install 2.08.HSPL, NOT 2.08.0000 !!!!

I talked to someone during the holidays about a bricked HD2 and this is want he told me. "JTAG will be able to fix dead HD2 when flashing a wrong firmware."
Check out his profile and send him a PM. He might be able to revive it for a small fee and shipping cost! He is also super nice!

(q) HD2Toolkit keeps failing

that problem is fixxed but now i cannot get the Toolkit to Wipedata so i can flash cLK or even Mag

okay so this problem is fixxed but now nothing i do in the tool kit works everything fails i cant even Wipe because wiping fails

does it say usb on colored screen?
is windows detecting it?

yes it does it will go as far as the HTC screen with the progress bar but wont proceed past that i have Mag 1.11 but im trying to update it and then flash a ICS rom i downloaded just so u know what is going on

anti-virus can sometime block it , try disabling it!

Different usb cable?
Is the phone charged?
Have you flashed before without problem?

problem solved the dude who sold me the phone downgraded the SPL back to normal somehow kept android idk but had to reflash it got it flashing a rom now thanks for all of your help guys loving this community already and glad to have joined it

flashing things on this phone is alot easier than i realised once i done it

hspl is only required for the actual flash, , once you've flashed it can be removed no problem(so long as it stays at 2.08)

[Q] is this stock htc hd2??

hey guys, i had (and still have) a non responding touchscreen on my htc hd2. I am now trying to get it back to stock to send it in, cause it still has warranty...
anyway, i downloaded winmob6.5 from the htc side, its a vodafone branding, so i downloaded the one where it says vodafone=) its a phone from germany.
I did task 29, and then installed the rom. (phone still had 2.08HSPL). afterwards i installed 2.08 SPL with hd2 toolkit.
The phone now reads:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.0000 8G XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MircoP(TOUCH) 0x50
in bootloader and:
R 2.15.50.14
G 15.42.50.11U
D 3.14.04666
when starting up.
my questions now are:
IS THIS ABLE TO BE SENT IN?
DO I HAVE TO CHANGE THE RADIO? IF SO,WHICH ONE?
ANYTHING I HAVE TO DO DIFFERENT TO MY WAY OF TRYING TO GET IT BACK TO STOCK??

I think you have to change your SPL to either 3.03, 1.66 or anything other than 2.08.
Because as far as I know, that SPL you have is for T-mous only, having it on means you've "HSPL-ed" your device, and since your device is not a T-Mous .....
I'm not sure about the above, wait for someone more experienced to confirm.

+1 to what Marvlesz said, the SPL version needs to be 3.03. I think 1.66 is only stock for the older ROMs with .51 radios, but on ROM version 3.14 the correct SPL is definitely 3.03.

Aren't HSPLs replaced to stock ones (SPLs) when installed signed rom? For example stock HD2 has SPL 3.03. You install 2.08 HSPL After fun with Android you flash stock rom. All changes caused by flashing Android and HSPL are restored to defauld SPL 3.03 That's what I think and remember. Check that.
If not, then download http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=966228 this and flash SPL 3.03

Yes, you are correct. But if you re-read his post, you'll notice that he said he had installed SPL using the NAND toolkit, which gave him (or he chose) SPL 2.08 (only for T-mous).
Whereas flashing his "original" stock ROM via sdcard would've definitely restored his device back to complete stock.

@Marvlesz, I didnt install from SD because i dont have a touchscreen nomore. and i though installing the original RUU via MAGLDR doesnt make sence? so thats why i just plugged it in the pc and started it from there=)

Yep, that's fine now

But installation from SD doesn't need touchscreen. You just need nbh file (you can take it from temp files after running installer on PC - while it is still running search on drive C:/ [or other system partition] file ruu_signed.nbh And this should be in temp), formated SD without any partitions other than Fat32 (one). You rename ruu_SIGNED.nbh to leoimg.nbh and put it in SD. And via bootloader. But this what you have is enough
