hi...
long story short...
my 8gb class 6 card was stolen.. have a 16gb class 6 coming at end of week. i was running DC2.1 last custom ROM. was also using apps2sd and it was working great!
question?
should I go ahead and get Froyo?
will its version of app2sd be as good as the 2.1 version? because with the efficient apps2sd on 2.1.. i am still pushing the limits of the memory.
who the hell steals sd cards?
Is there even a stable release of Froyo yet?

Stable, yes. Final, no.
Look in the dev forum for CM6 RC1.
@OP:
Yea, get Froyo.
I came from French Toast, and I thought that was fast. Froyo, no lie is lighting quick. The Apps to SD innate seem much better at handling it too.. but that's just what I think. Plus you can see what apps are on your SD card on the phone. I recommend it. Even though it's not final. everything I use the phone for works on froyo, including camera.
I'd definitely recommend using FroYo... it's ridiculously fast, gets good battery life, and you get access to new apps like Voice Actions.
I have a 16g class 6 and i am running the current build of cm6 for the hero. I haven't had a single issue. its fast thank you devs
so yea get froyo.
thanks everyone... i guess I will give Froyo a try..
does it fix the phone lag... staring calls?
Haven't had any problems. Another bonus is that Froyo takes about half the space of 2.1 with Sense.
Is there a froyo with sense? I need it for HTC sync for use with outlook 2010. Also, why do people make up such crazy names for ROMS? I spend too much time trying to figure out what it is, and who made it, what version it is, do all the features work, what radio am I supposed to use. Isn't there a way to simplify this?
the froyo rom here is cyanogenmod6 its named after the cyanogen and is the sixth version of the multi platform android rom he and his team have put out. I do agree that some of the rom names are downright ridiculous and the word art junk I've seen for some of them just seems really lame and immature (think high school class projects with crap word art thrown in)
NO there is no sense 2.2 rom and there may or may not ever be one. Also before it gets asked in this thread, NO CM6 DOES NOT HAVE FLASH!
why are you syncing your phone to outlook? both outlook and the phone should sync to your calandar and email provider, your doing it kinda backwards. outlook is a client, and the phone is a client. why sync one client to another instead of syncing both clients directly to the service provider?
O/T but outlook is a terrible email client, bloated as hell and poorly written. I wouldn't recommend anyone use it unless they have a need to talk to an exchange server.

Everything works yes but it is NOT lightning quick, even with the same 730mhz. 2.1 was ALOT faster

Nope along with performance my battery life is alot worse
Don't get me wrong it is VERY stable for what it is (the only issue being the LEDs being messed up which there's a fix for) but 2.1 was alot faster for me. My GBA emulator is really laggy and useless with 2.2

The cm6 build is good but Ive gone back to fresh. The a2sd isnt as good imo as darks however you can integrate a2sd into cm6 and bypass the froyo version. Battery life was pretty random for me. I caibrated my battery and one use I got about 7 hours of streaming slacker over wifi and using a bluetooth headset to listen. Recharged and the next go around I gout 4 1/2 hours. personally 7 hours of that kind of use is damn good for me but 4 1/2 is a drastic drop. I didnt like the fact that it was ran at 691, I think my phone runs better running around 600. Above that and it can get a bit jumpy (oc widget and setcpu wouldnt maintain a frequency and the battery fix was too involved for my liking). Also I started getting a ton of FC's in launcherpro and the browser.
That being said, I made a nandroid so I can go back to it if I like but for now Im sticking with fresh's rom. The only feature I would like is the new google voice search but I rarely use voice functions anyways.
Edit: Scratch that, I loaded the updated nightly build and alot of my issues seem to be gone and OC Widget is holding at 576 so Im calibrating the battery and gonna test again.
I cannot believe I havent fried this phone after the amount of flashing and crap Ive done on it.

That. =P
I'm also in the process of calibrating the battery as my CM6 battery performance compared to Fresh 2.3.3 was pretty abysmal, but if it's NOT lightning quick, you're doing it wrong.
(CM6 is f-f-ffAST! Using the decad3nce #7 8/18 uncapped kernel currently, but even the included kernel was perfection)
hi all...
i tried to flash this blue rom...
it did not work.
I lost my SD card. got a replacement 16gb class6.
I also have an old 1gb class2.
i have been rooted since I got the phone in Dec and have flashed many ROMs with no issues. I was last on DC 2.1 custom Rom.
it just gets stuck in "HTC" splash screen. wait 15-30 mins. never comes out. here is what I have done...
each time i wipe the data and Dalvik.
flash the 2.2 ROM.
both from the 1gb and the 16gb.
just stuck in the black screen "htc"
what do I need to do?

Is there a working 2.1 ROM for the G1 which has Live Wallpapers with minimal battery drain and also something close to running at a fast speed with GPS/camera/maps/streetview etc all working?
At the moment I'm using SuperEclair V8.2 by XxKOLOHExX and it's fine and all, but the system slows down to the point of becoming near unusable when Live Wallpapers are on - not to mention the huge battery drain. Are there any ROMs which have such issues corrected?
Thanks in advance~
I'm using superD 1.6. I would change to 2.1 if there was something as fast as 1.6. I have yet to see an eclair rom to match the speed of donut.
It's been a while since I've used a 2.1 rom, but when I did, I didnt notice any battery loss from the live wallpapers. From what I know, live wallpapers doesn't even run when your phone is off/sleeping. LWP's turn back on when your phone comes back on, so it's not constantly running.
edit: That didnt really answer your question =)

Hmm yeah that's true - I don't mind if it's not as fast as donut, just as long as it's not really really slow. The 2.1 ROM I was using had great features but it was just too laggy for me.

+1 for Open Eclair. I used it for my everyday rom for months with no problems. Recently switched back to SuperD out of boredom though.
Ohhh, cool. Looks like Open Eclair is the best way to go. Thanks!
latest open eclair or kingklick's ASOP 2.1 v1.9
Cannon 1.2 with 3d patch 2.0 is fully of fc.
SuperEclair v2.4 or v3.0 I suggest v2.4 with Extended Pack.
Kolehe beta 3.0 Rom. I bet theres no Eclair rom faster. flash and see for yourself. But no LWP's though. And you shouldnt be asking for a fast eclair that has minimal battery drain and complain about something slowing down and your using LWP's.
OpenEclair 1.3.0.1 is very feature-complete, stable and the "no 3D" version is fast enough for daily use. The 3D version though is slow. I've missed several phone calls because it takes that long for the phone to wake up and show caller ID.
The OpenEclair devs are promising improvements on that front in the upcoming 2.0 version, so I'd try that out when it becomes available.

I have an original MT3G (using Cyanogen right now) if that makes any difference.
Sorry because of the extremely late reply man :S but...
I think you DEFINITELY have to try this ROM if you wanna know what's speed and reliability. It's based off the official aosp ota for the mt3g (my touch 3g) and tweaked out to run flawlessly on the G1

Awesome!!! I'm thinking about change phone because it's too laggy but this ROM makes all the diference! Thanks for the suggestion.
Now i only have two questions because i had Cyanogenmod and it has Power Control in the status bar like the samsung galaxy i think and i can also change the number of lines and collumns my desktop has, and chage the weight of the widgets.
Anyone knows what can i do to make that things work in this version?
THANKS!!!

Have had Super-E, but changed to BiffMod.
BiffMod is faster on my G1.
Greetings
Braaaaiiiiiings.... mmmmm... BRAIIIINS!!!
The one I have now is blazing fast, I use from cm4 to cm6 and this thing maybe best so far I have use, no fc and bs since I got it, fancy looks but still maintain good speed. But not sure about juice, my battery is extended one like 3.7 VDC 3000m monster battery so it still last me good 10hr+ even everything is on......
Waiting for good sense mod. ;-)

Upon immediately turning on the device I'm overwhelmed. Everything is so open, so free, and I get a good signal everywhere I go. First thing I did was download advanced task killer and Facebook, but now I have no idea what to do except find a nice wallpaper and rearrange some widgets and icons. If I were to go with a 2.0 ROM, what are some outstanding differences compared to 1.5?

First, remove task killer. Android does it on its own, and if you root and load a rom I think most of them have an adjustable memory manager now hacked into the kernel.
Second, have fun.
Third, 2.1 isn't a HUGE deal over 1.5 just some new apps available in the market, multi-touch additions...over all feel is the same though.
2.1 also incorporates bluetooth file transfer and most the roms here have the option for live wallpapers, apps 2 sd, and 2 roms now allow overclocking.....super fast. Take the leap......root and enjoy 2.1 but please research, research, research.

Correction, 3 roms are overclocked But really, 2.1 is just better. I don't know really how to explain it. Better market app, better apps in market, and i've felt that it has been much more stable for me. With the exception of Gumbo 1.5c, I also felt that 1.5 roms were running a little slower for me...

I just switched from my 3GS about a month and a half ago, and I still have a hard time believing how open and free the OS is. That and the service (10 dropped calls a day ring a bell?) were the reasons I switched, besides getting on a Sprint Advantage Plan for $35 / month.
I think I had the phone for about 24 hours before rooting it. Once I did, I tried out some custom 1.5 roms, and they were pretty good.
Then I checked out Fresh 2.0d, which is 2.1 based, and thought... Hey, this is really cool! More app selections, better performance, etc.
Only recently did I decide that having Sense (All the pretty widgets and stuff) was unnecessary and took up too much memory. So I took the plunge into Fresh Toast 1.1, (Fresh 2.0d based) which not only has EXT4 support and overclocking (almost double stock speed) built into the kernel, but has the ability to use swap (virtual memory on your SD Card), JIT (just in time compiler, runs your kernel at a higher rate = faster process / compilation speed, about a 1.5 MFOPS increase... but it does kill sense) and A2SD (installing apps to an ext partition on your SD Card). I've got all these running, and my HTC Hero is now just as fast (most of the time) as my 3GS was.
Hope I was helpful, from one now-apple-hater to another.
PS - if youre hating Apple's closed source platform as much as me and have a personal vendetta (also like me) against them, you should check out this thread for some anti-apple bootscreens.
2.1 And It's Speed
W/ 2.1 you'll notice a huge jump in speed. You'll see transitions are a lot faster and smoother with a lot of apps opening quicker as well. Def something you should try out.
go for root!
welcome to andriod!
if you enjoy how open your phone is now just wait until you root your phone. superuser permission rocks. i love being able to open a terminal and see all of the stuff under the hood. rooting will give you a good recovery where you can easily back up your rom, try new roms and always be able to go back to the one you are most comfortable with.
also... wifi tethering rocks! favorite coffee shop doesnt have free wifi? no problem!
cheers and best of luck!

Hey all. I also just switched from my 3GS to the Hero a couple of days ago. I know that PPTP VPN support was intruduced with 2.1 but was wondering if anyone had actually tried it on cooked 2.1. Before the hero I tried the Samsung Moment and loaded a 2.1 ROM but VPN was broken.
Happy Rooting! I second the WiFi tether. Greatest invention since sliced bread

WHAT!
I went from an iPhone to a Pre, and decided hey let me try Android 1.5 (this was way before the 2.1 leak) I absolutely hated it, I didn't like having 1 gmail account that would sync I wanted all of them. Multi-Touch, BT transfer, BT phonebook, Wi-Fi on while in Airplane mode(I really need this, and the apps out there don't work quite as well as it does in 2.1) and much much more. I really can't stand 1.5 or 1.6 for that matter. 2.0 and above for me.
If it wasn't for these leaks I'd still be rocking my Pre.

i agree with him
now that i have 2.1 on my phone im actually happier with its features than when it was 1.5.
For me, I just love the new market. For some reason, that's the only reason I like 1.6+ over 1.5-.
I'm half way through my 2nd day using Android on my HD2 and this thread is for me to say what issues i've found. Not to complain, just because most of them may have fixes or other people may have the same issues. These ROMS haven't long been out and i'm sure the developers here will fix many issues.
ROM: NRGZ28 Energy ROM
Radio: .12
Android Build: Desire v5
Battery Life:
Compared with WinMo, Android appears to be less optomised on battery. I put the phone on a full charge at 7pm last night, at this time(10:25am) with very little use, 1 3 minute call and a quick check on Facebook) the battery only has 50% left just over
Unresponsive Screen:
Occasionally the screen will stop responding, however pressing a hardware button usually clears the problem up
Photo Uploading:
I took 2 photos yesturday and went to upload them to Facebook, however the progress bar stays at 0% on the notification bar and no way to remove it
No Mic/Audio:
I've made another thread for this and I found the problem, with my Windows Mobile ROM it doesn't automatically load CLRAD.EXE before HaRAT.EXE, so when starting up the phone, i have to take out SD Card, use File Explorer to start CLRAD.exe, put SD Card in then launch HaRAT.exe
I've heard changing to the Titanium WinMo ROM fixes many issues compared to Energy so I may try that tonight
your rom should be fine to run android.
desire v5 is not the best choice, cause its one of the first builds.
you should take an new build before doing anything else...
if you like sense, give mattc 1.6 a try. if you not like sense take a look at darkstones newest froyostone.
there have been many many kernel updates since desire v5 was released. you will notice a huge difference in speed and response...

Thanks for the tip, I may try Mattc 1.6, is that 1.6 the version of the ROM or is it Android 1.6?
Actually wait a bit on mattc 1.6. It currently has issues. mattc 1.5b is my fulltime build right now. I haven't used WinMo in 2 weeks. As a matter of fact, I'm going to load on a light version of WinMo, like Chucky's. Why have a bloated WinMo when you're not using it?

I said to you to upgrade as desire is an older build. In regards of clfcad it should be on your SD card in the android folder along with haret so why is it stored elsewhere? Plus you always have to click clrcad before running haret unless you use an android launcher like mskips which does this automatically.
So OP other than your experiences with highly known problems. What was your experince with android overall.
Did you like it? Did you use it to is full potential? Did you try out the new voice search? What did you think of qik? or any other note worthy apps?
I know you are probably already aware but I just wanted to say
these things.
The battery life improves with use of setcpu. Considering the phone was never designed to run android I am ok with it.
Unresponsive screen is solved right now by disabling screen rotation.
there is also a slight delay built in I believe.
Uploads were a big problem untill the recent ppp fix.
You shouldnt ever have a problem with sound running aslong
as clrad.exe is being properly ran.
I wanted to address these because I believe android on the hd2 needs a fair chance. If we dont take into account these minor flaws we wont see the greatness.

Those files are in the Android folder on the SD card, but I thought the WinMo ROM as it has a button built in to launch Android would be scripted to run CLFCAD.exe and HaRAT.exe automatically, wrongly assumed on my part though.
hmm, mskips you say? May give that a go.
Yeah i've been told by a few people to upgrade the Android rom i have, the reason I started with this one is because i figured the HTC Desire is a similar phone to HD2. I'll try in a bit a new WinMo ROM and Android ROM but with the same radio

Don't get me wrong this isn't me complaining about it. I knew there would be "niggling" issues of course.
Well personally, I love it. I want to use it as my main OS. It is suprisingly stable, it looks good, it runs reasonably well(i.e above issues). I love the Android Marketplace, i've given Layar a go(which runs well and is fun) i enjoy Latitude and using it with Google Buzz.
I am hugely grateful for the work people are putting into these ROMs, its fantastic and as they get improved and issues get fixed well, I can imagine great things

I agree, I will be keeping a close eye on the ROMs and as they get improved more and more, our experiences with Android will only get better. Right now i'm experimenting with different builds to see which one suites me best
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=870518
What is special about this build?
- What is special about this build is that the entire Android O/S filesystem is stored in RAM before it is booted.
What does this mean?
- Well, RAM is faster than NAND(ROM) and SD Card which in turn will make the build superfast too! Very fast. Very very fast!

THIS Build as some who have it on their phones will testify is by far and and away the fastest build to date in Android development there is no faster build that im aware of, i can never see myself going back to "normal" Android builds again and credit must go to Darkstone this is a massive advancement in Android technology, my question is though, isn't there other chefs who can cook builds similar to this?
Merry Xmas to you all

Have you tried charging fully in WM before switching to Android. This should solve your problem.
I like Sense.. i like sense alot.. Sense means beauty and comfort for me .. I would sacrifise a bit of smoothness for a lot of Sense.. thanks..
Few days ago I copied darkstone's RAM build 1.5 to second SD card just to test it. And I was blown away with its speed. Second boot lasted about 10sec. Difference in speed in compare to any other build I tried is huge. Scrolling through the pages, opening and closing apps.....and the lockscreen is very nice
But I got huge data drops, internet in my case was working very badly. Also like Laynee1 I miss some stuff from sence.
But in any case I think that this is the way for me to go. Waiting for further releases. MDJ's gingerbread RAM looks promising. As soon as GPS is working in it I am switching.
Darkstone's build is working flawless for me so far. No data drops whatsoever. People complain Quadrant scores aren't 2000+, but thats not where the speed is at. It's basically just faster load times, and snappyness.
Also, since I hate Sense, there's no problem there
like i once said, ram builds are like sportcars, fast, no luxury, no interior, naked, raw and pure.. sense builds are the bentleys beautifull, full of gimmicks, just comfort and luxury.. besides that, the ram builds are crazy fast at navigating on the phone, but graphics are still choppy, like there are display drivers missing..
I like sense too but you when you have builds as fast aas this it doesn't matter, no data drops here either very happy with the build indeed

I really wish that some RAM version of CM builds could be made. They are very fast of regular SD. I can't imagine how fast it will run on RAM!
I tried Darkstones build and I really liked it, the only thing I missed from sense is the dialer.

I dunno how good a Sense RAM build would be. Sense is huge and it will kinda fill HD2`s whole RAM memory. I need to have at least 150 MB free on my device for it to run smoothly, and somehow I think Sense would take more than that. Same goes for CM builds, way too loaded. The sport-car comparison previously mentioned is a good one, it`s like trying to add extra scrap parts to a car and expecting it to behave as smoothly as it used to before adding anything.
Besides, ADW Launcher has tons of skins (at least it has some interesting ones, worth checking out) and it`s wonderfully fast and stable.
Something which is completely off-topic but still bothers me: if they managed to run Android off the RAM memory, could they perhaps do the same with WP7? I`d really rofl to see the HD2 running WP7 smoother than the Mozart...

Sense wasn't not included in the rom, it was based off of AdamG's Oxygen minimalistic rom. I don't think you would be able to put Sense over the SupperRAM.
I'm using LaunchPro Plus, and liking it, I miss the better sense widgets though...
Been using SupperRAM for only 2 days now, speed has been great.
I did notice some data drops more than usual. A reboot or toggling phone data on/off has helped this problem.
I'm extremly happy with this build have hardly experienced any data drops and it continues to whizz along at great speed, i actually don't miss sense that much to be honest, when a build is as fast as this for me personally that's the main thing, hoping to see other developers follow suit.
I tried the Super RAM build and I absolutely loved the speed. However, I would also like a Sense build with it (if possible) because then I would be able to sync my Outlook via HTC Sync. I need the sync with contacts and calendar between Outlook and HD2. While google has a program released to sync the calendar to gmail and from there to the phone, they are lacking in the contacts department...
anyone any ideas?
it's fast and has good battery life. those are the things I need the most from a build. i don't know why people torture themselves with the slowness of desire hd builds

I really wish that some RAM version of CM builds could be made. They are very fast of regular SD. I can't imagine how fast it will run on RAM!
I tried Darkstones build and I really liked it, the only thing I missed from sense is the dialer.

There is actually a ram version of CM build made. "HD2ONE v3.6 [CM6.1.1 Stable]" you will need to edit the startup.txt to get your RAM ver.
I haven't seen one sense rom thread that doesn't use words like fast, optimized and smooth.
However I've tried randomly some. RCmix, URDroid, mwakiousRUNNINGrom 3.0 and even the latest 6.5.x. Result?
None of them is even remotely as fast as described. Especially if I dare to install more apps than they are already installed. Ram gets eaten up. HTC widgets do their thing and eat most of it.
My only thought is that maybe the devs that state their rom is fast, stable, smooth, flying, vigorous, etc etc just installed the rom, let it settle and that's it.
They didn't try to:
- import 600 contacts
- sync with Facebook
- install facebook
- install yahoo messenger
- sync gmail and one or two more yahoo accounts
- install a few apps (color note, barcode scanner, adobe flash, maps and other utilities as such)
Doing this is a killer combo for all of the mentioned roms.
Some even don't bear with me through the whole proccess and I end up nervously installing a light cyanogen mod rom. They started freezing while receiving a call, the lockscreen sometimes took so much time to load that it passed those 30 seconds until it goes off again, an so on.
So where to now?
Without trying to do another "best rom thread" what is the fastest gingerbread sense rom for you? Please reply only if you have actually used the rom for more than 4 days and synced with facebook, 2-3 email accounts, installed some apps, etc. Bonus points for battery lasting more than one day.
I have seen exactly this problem.. It is mainly sense related.. it's not just on the HD2 either, also on phones that come with android & sense out of the box. Sense just eats a lot of memory.
I used to be a big fan of sense and tried to find a fast stable rom, used to use one made by Mdeejay but he stopped developing it.
After I switched to a CM7 rom and saw the speed of that I never looked back, so for me that is the way to go ^^

Hahaha !!
I second that !!
All sense roms, use all the ram but leave you with about 60 MB (which is not enough for regular usage)
If you go to a monitoring app you'll see that the desktop (Sense Launcher) is already eating 86+ MB of your ram, despite the fact that there are other resources running in the background bracing the launcher AND taking memory .
MIUI and CM7 if you want your device to be fast.
I use Dorimanx' rom, it's the fastest thing alive.
Seriously, of all roms for the HD2 this is the fastest and most advanced one.
As for your other questions.
I use it to sync 3 gmail and 1 exchange account, i have around 100+ apps installed.
I don't have anything to do with facebook or yahoo, but do use ebuddy to chat with people on MSN.
Although i wouldn't know of any way how an app for IM'ing could possibly affect your phone's performance.
It's also a real battery saver, i guess it could run for 2 days on a single charge.
But i'm not really sure about that, usually i charge it when i go to sleep and at that point i have around 60% left.
If you want some tips about the ROM or want some troubleshooting, just contact me.
I'm always willing to bring the delight of Dorimanx to people.
I gave up on Sense too. I have been using Hyperdroid for a few months and haven't found a reason to switch to anything else for daily use.

Evo 3D has 1GB of RAM, this is HD2.
Sir, what are you doing here?
Ok guys, let's update this thread. Yesterday after failing with most 3.5 sense roms, I started crawling the threads and searching for all of the sense gb 2.3 roms.
I left out all 3.5 roms, all of the sensation xl ones and mostly roms based of newer beasts.
I looked for as stock as possible and also narrowed it down. Then, I found out of a rom that I've never tested before. Haldric's Desire HD Rom:
Find it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1333106
It's a 3.0 Sense Rom that has the 2.0 Unlocker (thus getting rid of that awful ring)
I tweaked it like this:
- removed about 40 mb of useless apps (laputa, widgets I never use, htc loggers and crash report senders, and so on)
- installed latest 0.1.5 kernel for marc (fantastic kernel for sense)
- installed europe gps libs from tytung
- imported my hundreds of contacts, synced with facebook, and my other two yahoo email accounts.
- installed facebook and yahoo messenger apps and configurated them accordingly
- installed apps like maps, barcode scanner, hdr camera, and more than 15 apps
- free memory after running all of these, 97 mb
And so far, it runs like it ran the first time it booted. Fast!
yeah I'm done with Sense ROMs. I was just testing them anyways.
I use the MIUI rom which is fast and better design compare to Cyanogen ROMs. Obviously Cyanogen ROMs are bit faster than MIUI but I love MIUI's UI.
I don't think I'm switching to any other ROM as of right now
hehehehe, best (most honest) thread title i have seen in the last couple of months right in you face baby
well, i am away from sense roms, but everytime i see a sense rom titled "fast, smooth,...." exactly the same thoughts as your thread title are going through my head

lol,
I fell for it and tried the Sensation roms, which were claimed to be Fast & Smooth ...
nowhere near as fast and smooth as a CM7 rom, or a lite AOSP rom such as the one done by Xylograph ...
In my opinion the less EXT/Data2Sd etc partition on a SD card a rom uses the Faster it is.
Access and Read times are both Faster on NAND than any SD Card,
regards
I use a Sense NAND rom on one of my HD2, so far I haven't noticed many lag problems. Of course, it will never be faster than cyanogenmod, but it's fairly close, even when using it to play games.
The SD build on the other hand... I overclocked to 1.2 ghz for best results.

oh please.....
btw. we do not mean the lags, but its usability on daily basis.. for example checking mails, checkin facebook, checkin weather etc. simultaneously... while doing this, you can even open your camera quickly (if something is happeing around suddenly) and you can do this in a fiew seconds and your phone won't freeze. And i am not talking about freshly flashed rom doing this on Sense, you need to be a very patient person and have a lot of time
what is also funny, when people say "this sense rom is very stable, i run it for almost 2 days without reboot".. sense is just outdated these days..

I personally like the Sense UI, and I do not find the lags and delays that bothersome.
To say it's outdated... well, to each his own.
It depends on your style of using your phone
For me sense ROMs are fine. They aren't the fastest but they sure are pretty
and i think a class 6 SD card should help with speed

Yes, it is a FACT that some people prefer the features of Sense over raw speed for the HD2 Android.

Speed is a matter of fact. Tolerance levels are a matter of opinion.
