Can't Flash Anymore!? - HD2 General

I try Flashing, I have been doing it..
but now it gets stuck on
Loading... or on 0% black htc screen on phone,
when I restart with Vol Down, or even trying to flash through USB...
if i have a LEOIMG.nbh on my SD Card it just HANGS/STICKS on "Loading"
and if I press vol down and restart with no SD Card in, and try flashing through pc, it sticks on 0% on the htc black screen on the phone.
I flashed onto Duttys_Leo_Sense_2.5_5.2.23549.5.5.0_1.72_Multi-Lang_6.5.5
I'm on
ROM Version: Duttys M-Lang Series 6.5.5 V1 WWE
Radio: 2.08.50.08_2
On Bootloader it shows:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.0000 8G XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(TOUCH) 0x30
The phone works-it's just stuck on Duttys_Leo_Sense_2.5_5.2.23549.5.5.0_1.72_Multi-Lang_6.5.5
and I can't flash to another ROM/s
I've even tried flashing by hsb and sd card to original rom

I done this already-
SPL-2.08.0000 8G XE

just a thought, did you instal the mtty drivers in the past? because if those drivers are running on the usb port then I think you won't connect from hspl.
boot to bootloader, connect usb, on pc open device center, find mobile device, right click and update drivers. click through and it will instal the latest drivers, then try hspl2 again.

No!, They can only upgrade the SPL. Or wait for a HSPL 2.x based!
Oh, I see. Hopefully the spl will be broken soon .
Taken from my Rom Flashing guide:
2. FLASH HARDSPL2 (REQUIRED!! DO THIS BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE)
The Original HardSPL Thread is *HERE*
IMPORTANT: To install/uninstall this HSPL there must be any SPL version from this list on your device:
SPL 1.42.0000, SPL 1.42.HSPL, SPL 1.62.0000, SPL 1.66.0000, SPL 1.66.HSPL,
SPL 2.07.0000, SPL 2.08.0000 SPL, 2.08.HSPL
NOTE: If you have Vista or Windows 7, update WMDC to v6.1 *HERE* first
NOTE: Turn OFF any AntiVirus Program first as it WILL interefere with the flash (there is NO harmful code in the program)
Flashing via ActiveSync with USB Lead (thanks to Bepe)
1. Download HardSPL package from *HERE* and extract to an empty folder
2. Synch Phone with PC in Windows Mobile!!! It has to be connected to activesync or WMDC via USB cable
3. Run HSPL2_RUN.exe from your pc and read all the text carefully
4. When finished click next in the HardSPL program
5. The program will now check the usb connection and enter the bootloader screen (tri colour)
6. NEW: YOU CAN NOW CHOOSE WHICH VERSION OF SPL OR HARDSPL YOU WANT TO FLASH TO YOUR PHONE!!
7. Select your desired HardSPL and click NEXT.
8. HardSPL will now be flashed to your phone.
5. When its finished the HardSPL program will pop up a box saying "successfully Done".
6. Click ok to terminate program and reboot the phone.
7. Congrats, you just flashed HardSPL.
I have spl 2.08.0000. The phone is synced with wmdc and my av program is closed. i click next on hspl2 program and it puts my phone into the bootloader i believe. but i am getting an error that says Critical Error, flow:00000003, error code:00000004, Description: Bad model ID!. [Q] US HD2 error 262 HELP!

Brand new HD2 that was flashed with SPL 2.08.0000 using HSPL3. Every time I try to flash a cooked rom or radio it gives me Communication Error [262] (USB Error) while stuck on 0% on computer and phone. USB works fine since the phone gets recognized by Vista without any problems. Tried different usb ports and different cables but no success. I tried running HSPL 3 again to flash with SPL 2.08.HSLP but I get the following error:
CRITICAL ERROR
Flow: 00000006
Error code: 00000000
Description: Unknown
Currently the bootloader screen shows the following:
PB81120 SS-B3
SPL-2.08.0000 8G XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(TOUCH) 0x40
The phone itself is still working. Any ideas how to remedy this?
Thank You!
basic error.
2.08.0000 is stock. run hspl3 again but this time choose 2.08.hspl from the dropdown.
Thank You, for the reply!
This is what I get when running HSPL 3:
CRITICAL ERROR
Flow: 00000001
Error Code: 00000002
Description: USB Connect Failed!
It the same time when connected in widows it syncs on the same usb port with the same cable...
1 - boot into bootloader manually first, then connect usb, then run hspl.
2 - use a usb port around back of the pc, not one built into the front or top, keep trying till you have tried all ports.
3 - always right click hspl and choose run as administrator, even if you are logged in as administrator.
Ran HSPL while in the bootloader on a different machine (xp pro) and it worked just fine.

Stuck at bootscreen! (Solved)

Hey all,
A friend of mine tried to install android on his HD2.
After installing HSPL it worked fine.
But after flashing MAGLDR the phone gets stuck at the HTC bootscreen.
And I cant get the phone connected to activesync
What did I try:
1. Hard Reset
2. Using a stock rom RUU (ruu_signed.nbh)to flash like this:
a)Formatting the sd card to fat32(16GB)
b)Putting ruu_signed.nbh on the sd card and renaming it to leoimg.nbh.
(I tried the Unbranded and the NLD RUU)
c)Turning phone on with vol down.
After the thrid step (c) I get on a screen that says "Loading..." but after 30 minuts nothing happen.
Anyone! What do I need to do?
Greetz,
Michka
BTW i got my ruu_signed.nbh files from the %temp% folder of the RUU installer.exe
This is what he gets on the tripel color screen.

The SD card should be freshly formatted, FAT32 format.
It´s not easy to find out what went wrong with MAGLDR.
Did you use the latest version, 1.13?
What HSPL and what Radio ROM version were on the device?
And finally, do you still get into the bootloader screen (vol. down + power),
what does it say in there?

Well, then please provide as much information as possible.
It´s really hard or even impossible to help without more information.
It´s a bit like: My car is broken. What should I do?
"A stock ROM" is very tight information...
For your reference, flashing through SD card deletes HSPL, that´s why I asked
what the bootscreen information says...

See, the information you posted is helpful indeed.
You still have SPL 2.08.0000 on your device instead of 2.08.HSPL. On the other hand, I still don´t know what your original ROM was.
Please try to re-install with HSPL3.exe, and please make sure to install the correct Radio ROM in case you don´t have it yet, should be 2.15.50.14.
Both items are required to run MAGLDR properly.
If your attempt to flash a stock ROM failed, then something else was wrong.
There are known problems flashing with 8GB, or greater, SD Cards.
Put the phone into Bootloader Mode and then connect to the PC.
Run HSPL3 and select 2.08.HSPL
Put the phone into Bootloader Mode and then connect to the PC.
Download and flash the RADIO 2.15.50.14.
Put the phone into Bootloader Mode and then connect to the PC.
Now you are ready to go through the MAGLDR instructions and NANDRIOD flashing.

Thank you guys.
The problem was hspl.
Because of the sd card (i think) hspl wasnt flashed right. So i couldnt install a radio or get magldr working. Now i reinstalled hspl and i can do anything.
So what i did in short:
1. Reinstalled hspl 3.00 with a 2gb sd.
2. Flashed the right radio.
3. So now magldr was working
4. Flashed the nld stock rom(to be 100% sure everyting works).
5. Reflashed magldr 1.03 again.
6. Flashed an android disre hd rom (standard nand rom doesnt seem to work).
7. We are happy everything works.
Thx again!

plz help me :(

hello, maybe some1 from here can help me... i think my phone is bricked!
when i boot my phone, it only gives HTC logo and nothing else..
i did a soft and hard reset and now able to get into that bootloader thingy with volume down and on button.. but now i am stuck,
i tought just installing original software would help, but it doesnt install it!
In bootloader do you have hspl installed. To load magldr in order to run a NAND Android rom, you need 2.08.hspl and a 50 series radio, 2.08.50 or higher.
Why can't you flash a rom in bootloader, what errors do you get? Just connect phone in bootloader to your pc and when "usb" shows on screen flash the rom.
What did you do???

Can you provide more details:
what phone do you have (HD2 Europe, TMOUS, etc)?
What is currently running on it (or supposed to be, look at how I list my current phone in my signature for how to tell us what you are running)?
What got you in this predicament (flashing rom, radio, adding apps, themes, etc)?
What "original software" are you trying use that's not helping?
How are you trying to install that "original software"?

You have 2.08.0000 - you HAVE to have 2.08.hspl to install magldr.
Are you sure those roms are the original roms for your device? You need to download the orignal rom from HTC for your area using your S/N
i tried to install android, so i downgraded to RUU_Leo_HTC_NLD_1.66.404.1_Radio_Signed_15.30.50.07U_2.06.51.07_Ship

Yes, but when you run hspl2 you can select either 2.08.0000 or 2.08.hspl in the drop down. You have to select 2.08.hspl NOT 2.08.0000. Also your radio is now 2.06.51.07, you have to flash to a 50 series radio (not 51 as you have) and it has to be 2.08.50 or higher as I have already said.

that was the first thing you needed to get done, hardspl is very important, now that you got the hacked it message HSPL is in, go into bootloader and check that it says HSPL, upgrade your radio to a 2.15.50.14, do a task 29, install MGLDR and then flash whatever nand rom you want.
From Noob Guide to installing NAND roms FAQ:
Not able to make a usb connection to the phone when in Magldr
Error Description: USB init failed
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (723)
Go to the Activesync icon in the bottom right corner, right click on it and untick the option "Allow usb connections" and then connect the device again. Run daf.exe (or install.exe) as administrator by right clicking on it and selecting the option (if using Windows7 or Vista). Hopefully the usb drivers will then install and the Android Rom will flash.
Another option could be to uninstall and reinstall Activesync or to try different usb ports on your pc. If that doesnt work and you have Windows XP then you need to try on a machine with Vista or Windows 7.
If none of this works then try taking out your micro SD Card and repeating the process or flash a Custom Rom before you flash Magldr rather than a Stock Rom.
Lastly you could try starting the NAND installer with the phone unplugged and then plugged the phone in. The installer should immediately detect your device and proceed to flash.

HD2 Stuck on wsod and bootloader

Hi, i see this:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.0.8.0000 8G XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
And i can go further, if i insert a stock rom in SD rename to leoimg.nbh it is stuck on "loading..."
any help?
I try to flash hspl but nothing happens for hours....
what version of hspl did you flash?
an what type hd2 do you have(tmous or eu)????
i've tried 2.08 and above... but always stuck on animation of bar going left and right, i left it for 2 hours, but nothing happens!
plz help!! Is my hd2 bricked?
Don't think so, from what I know you have to flash the wrong radio ver on tmous handsets to brick them...
Have a read here..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1090783
Have to go out now back later..
i've downloaded the unified tool, but nothing works!
Better use the hd2 nand tookit (link in above link)
what happens when you power on an hold the vol down button...do you get a three-color screen?
yes with those infos:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.0.8.0000 8G XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
so?
Try the hd2 nand toolkit and select install hspl and follow instructions.
When you plug usb into phone it should say usb on the tri-color screen.
I've tried. The bar of loading goes around but The hspl won't install. I will try again now
The same again. Nothing change.
so it recognised the phone tried to install, and did it give an error..??
What version did you select ?
i tried 2.08 hspl and others, but stuck on bars loading back and forward and even after two hours nothing happens... i'm desperate...
Only other thing I can think of is check that your anti-virus is not blocking it , actually turn it off and try again....
i've disabled real time protection and tried...nothing.
i dunno what to do more...

Disable completely ...to make sure..
i've a mac at home and i'm trying now with a vmware machine... with no AV, tomorrow i'll try on a laptop with wxp installed...
But now, no success with the wxp vmware, without AV. Same behaviour of a "direct" wxp installation.
should active sync accept incoming usb connections?
To install any SPL or HSPL there must be any SPL version from this list on your device:
SPL 1.42.0000
SPL 1.62.0000
SPL 1.66.0000
SPL 2.07.0000
SPL 2.08.0000
SPL 2.10.0000
SPL 3.03.0000
Otherwise the installation will fail!
First go to here to download HSPL 4. I suggest HSPL 4 because it supports all SPL versions that are out right now including SPL 3.03.0000 and SPL 3.10.0000. Remember you can also use HSPL 4 to flash back to your original SPL. Once you have HSPL 4 downloaded use a zip program like WinZip, WinRar, or Win7 to extract the .exe file for the DFT installation utility to a location of your choosing on you computer. Take and put your HD2 manually into bootloader by holding the volume down button down while powering on your HD2. When you see the multicolor bootloader screen on your HD2 connect it to your computer via USB cable. If it is the first time you have connected it to your computer while in bootloader you will have to give it a minute or two for the drivers to install. When you see the Serial in the white bar of bootloader change to USB you have a HTC USB Sync connection between your HD2 and your computer. This is very important, make sure you have the latest ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center version (depending on what version of Windows your computer uses) installed on your computer as it has the updated USB drivers for the HTC USB Sync connection. Go to here to download these. When you see the USB in the white bar of bootloader right click on the HSPL 4 utility and select run as administrator. Follow the on screen instructions and select the desired HSPL version when it prompts you for what version you want to install. If you want to flash MAGLDR to install NAND Android or Windows Phone 7 you have to select 2.08 HSPL. When you see “We hacked it” on your HD2 screen you click yes on your computer in the box on the screen to confirm you see “We hacked it” then click close and you have flashed HSPL to your HTC HD2. T-Macgnolia
This is from the link I gave you earlier.
Read it carefully and follow the instructions to the letter. go to the original post for the links.
That's as far as I can go to help you..
Best of luck
i've got a 2.08.0000spl now... but i can't manage to flash a hspl...is the bootloader damaged or corrupted?
done the removal... when plugged again it automatically reinstalls drivers from activesync folder, is this correct? should i uninstall activesync too??
