HTC Magic bricked HELP

Hi!
I have a HTC Magic from Vodafone, and i try to update the ROM but....it brick!
I have try the recovery, fast boot, and nothing!
On the screen just show a box with the arrow strait to the phone.
Any ideia?

That's another story that updating the Rom. But give info about what radio you tried to update it with. Give as much info as possible and it will be easier to try to help

I cant remenber what radio i have try, but there is no general recovery way?

try things like take battery out for 10 sec plug usb cable in to phone and pc while pressing back button put battery back in

I try that but no luck...it don´t start

generally a brick caused by flashing the radio is a one way ticket

OMG, and now? There must be a way to enter in JTAG mode, like Tynt.
But in this time i thing it is too earlly...

Are you able to use ADB while stuck on that screen?

Press Home + Power to see if you can bring up the HTC recovery console.

press power and home,if you see a box with the arrow, press power and home again, maybe you can into recovery.

If you are a bit lucky with your spl, you can use ADB to put in recovery again.

You need to try and explain it more clearly.. I barely understand what you're saying.
From that, all I get is that you've tried to change the radio?
You also have to be more specific, explain all the details. With the information you've given, no one.. even god himself could not help you with this

Uh.....i think you need to wipe your sd card and then try loading the rom again. Whats your native language?

If you can't boot into fastboot (holding back+power), recovery (home+power) or hboot (volume down+power) and your phone is not recognized when connected to the PC then there isn't anything you can do, unfortunately. Can you get into one of these modes?

you have to download the android sdk
and boot the phone witch a recovery image over USB (witch the fastboot.exe)
maybe you should look at the "Non-TMobile 32B Magics" guide:

Stuck on HTC Logo Screen

I just tried to flash a new ROM by putting it on SD CARD...
i pressed my volume up key and power button for 3 seconds and now my phone is stuck on the HTC logo screen...
it did even go in the HSPL screen
whatever i do it reboots and gets stuck to that screen...
pressing the red button at the back made no difference
what can i do ?

I have the same problem. The phone is stuck on HTC logo screen and is not seen by the computer so I cannot reflash. Any idea what can be done???? Mine got stuck after I installed task 29

(1) Take out the battery / Unplug the phone
(2) Put the battery back in
(3) Turn it on and keep only Vol Down pressed
You should get a tri-color screen. Connect USB. Once it says USB at bottom, you are good to go with flashing.

put phone into bootloader requires you to press volume DOWN while power resetting the phone. Make sure the ROM is named LEOIMG.nbh and is on the root of the sd card. Make sure the sd card is 8gb or smaller unless it is a class6.

you need to put your phone back into bootloader, volume down while powering on the phone. then after you see the tricolored screen, connect it to the usb.

same problem, after returning back to stock from android, it is stucked on first htc logo.
phone was freezing, so i decided to flash from android to stock, i used micro sd (RUU_Leo_HTC_WWE_EastEurope_1.66.479.2_Radio_CRC_Signed_15.32.50.07U_2.07.51.22_2_Ship)
now it is stucked. please help

do the same thing only this time use the HTC support page for the correct stock ROM.

thank you it helped, but i had to flash the oldest rom on htc.com.. i wonder why i couldn´t flash newer...

That's weird, maybe they didn't make a 3.14 ROM for your region.

Help BRicked ! htc incredible s....
was using clockworkmod and cyanogen,decided to flash a android revolution hd rom, intsalled super wipe and flashed it ,then flashed the rom...now phone stuck at htc logo and cant go into clockworkmod recovery,the problem is i left my phone in usb while the flashing ...
..
so decided to format sd and place the PB13IMG.zip on root of sd to reflash rom...still not working !
computer cant detect usb when tried to connect.tried installing drivers,still cant get into recovery....i am using a s-offed htc incredible s...Please help!!!!
will sending phone to htc void warrenty?if so will they repair and how much they will charge?

Just downgrade again, I had same prob. Everything good now.

im having the same problem!i installed task29 (i had elegancia rom but i wanted to try another rom)and now im stuck on the htc logo screen that says 'stick together' in a red square.....i tried vol down+power button to go into bootloader but nothing happens, then i tried to hard reset but still nothing happens...i pushed the reset button and i did it all over again but still nothing...
my HD2 is a T-MOBILE usa with :

Enter Bootloader without VOL DOWN

Hi all,
my HTC is broken as the vol down hardware button is not working. I was arguing is there's some way to enter bootloader without it. Please also note that I'm unable to start Windows Mobile as the phone is formatted.

does your phone boot?
an easy way to get there is to start flashing a rom it will kick you to the boot loader ...
But there are some endkey replacements that have the option to restart in the boot loader ...

thank you for your reply. Unfortunately the phone has been Task 29 Formatted so it's unable to boot to OS. These "End key Replacement" sounds good. What are they ment for?
I've disassembled the phone and found out that the flex cable of VOL Keys is broken. So NO VOL DOWN. Just ordered a new flex cable from China, but it will take ages to get to Italy.
Any help much appreciated

well your phone has to boot to use the endkey replacements ...
even if it was task29 if you run the rom installer it it should kick you into the boot loader, but I am not sure about that, does the PC detect the phone over usb, or you could flash from the SD card ...

No USB detection... No Bootloader, No Reset, No OS.
I suppose that to flash from SD Card you need to get into the Bootloader, right?

Just Called HTC support... they say to leave the phone without battery for 2 hours and hope to spawn a hardware reset... will this work :/ ?

Not sure if it will work or but have you tried an app like everyWAN remote support personal edition?
It basically connects to phone and gives you a view of it via your PC I know you can reboot from pc etc and changes key preferences so maybe you could change the down key config
maybe wont work if you have no OS though but worth a shot the app i use is from sparus-software.com

I do not believe you need to enter the bootloader to flash from the SD card, search the forum for it but , If I remember use a fat32 formated sd card, use a 4 gig if you have an extra one, the ones that come with the phone seem to be flakey when it comes to flashing ..., and if memory serves me put the nbh in the root of the card and name it leoimg.nbh

i just buy it second hand ..i dont know ether it is b31 or b32..or even i dont know that it is rooted or not..
i found something that fastboot or recovery Img can solve this problem ..is this true?.
and i also it is necessary that phone must be rooted for fastboot or recovery IMG flashing?
tell me the exact method and IMG files link by using which i can recover my magic back..

I can still enter fastboot but it's a SHIP SPL so I cannot use flashboot (remote: now allow). Only way to fix is put SD in other phone, get original update.zip and update? I cannot enter custom recovery (clockwork / amon_ra)

Turn off phone first, then turn it on by holding BACK+Power.
That will get you fastboot.

U need to know what board 32a/32b your on first n if ure rooted, u can find out that by holding volume down n power
