Remove pin/password from Qtek 200

Hi there,
I found the Qtek phone on the nightbus. I could not get it do do anything, the only items displayed is in french and I think it is asking for a password.
Translated the french on google - it says "Enter your password and support on OK". The phone is a Qtek S200.
Is there any way that I could remove this passowod/pin?

You should turn the phone in to the nearest lost and found or the police so the owner can claim it rather than trying to open it!

Well, if it's the password for the picode of the simcard, just remove the simcard.
If it's the wm5 password thingy just do a hard reset
But I have nothing to doubt your good intentions. And the only reason you want to get passed the password is to find out who the owner is of this phone.
But as someone said above, the best thing to do is to bring it to the closest police station where you found the phone!

Is there a program to password protect your minisd card?

Hi all,
A friend of mine is looking for a program that can password protect his minisd memory card. Something that would ask for a password when you try to access it.
Have any of you seen a program that can do this? Thanks.

you have not provide enough information for a good suggestion.. chances are, this wont fit your bill.
WM6 has a storage card encryption function where things within this card cannot be access by other means. If you lock (add password to) your phone, the information is, theoratically in accessible.

You are right. I should have provided more info. My friend is having a problem with his younger brother going in this phone and messing with things in his minisd when he is not around his phone.
I believe that the memory encryption will not help him in this case. Thanks.

im quite a newbie to the wizard myself but from what you have said your friend has 3 possible solutions to his problem.
1: keep his wizard on him at all times.
2: use the password facility in windows mobile and leave his wizard switched off.
3: break the little s**ts fingers and tell him to leave it alone.

newbie help needed please

hi guys im playing around with a tmobile(uk) mda vario 1 i bought today 2nd hand and am trying to set it up to acess the internet via wifi.ive just plugged in a wireless router(free from virgin) and is working fine with my daughters laptop and sony psp. but i dont know how to set up this phone ie what do i type in and where? also i dont know what the ip addy is where i am.
can anyone please help a newbie please.

Turn on the Wi-Fit, then it should automatically scan. After that, click your router, and enter your security key.
By the way, 3 tips for the future:
1) Don't call a thread "newbie help needed" or any sort of thing like that, it usually gets ignored, or flamed. A better title for this problem would be "how do I connect my Vario to my Wireless Network?"
2) search for the answer, has been asnwered many many times before, and I know that without searching myself.
3) post it in the relevant forum. Although "Networking" may seem relevant to you, there is a forum called Wizard general, which is for questions like this about the T-Mobile Vario.
And, just so you know, your device has the codename "Wizard" so the Wizard forums is where you should be READING right now.

ive turned the router & modem on then turned my wifi on which then does pick up it.ive entered the sec key and stuff and all is fine but if i click on internet exp non of the web pages i type in load up?

Big problem with Qtek S100! (locked) Help!

Hi, I got a big problem with my new mobile. I set a password who would be set on after 5 minutes. Like If I dont use It In 5 minutes It became locked. (!Its not the code when you turn It on) I dont remember my password so I cant use It. How can I fix this? Do you know which code I mean? Anyway. If I dont can open It I can never more use It. So please help. When I connect It to a computer It stands like: Passwordprojected! The mobile are passwordprojected. The password have to been entered to be accept to connect the mobile.
So I really love you If you can help me with thIs.

Help Needed - I'm desperate!!!

I desperately need some help.
My girlfriend bought a HTC Touch Dual from ebay which was locked to the Orange Network in the UK. I tried to unlock the phone for her so she could use her Vodafone SIM and have made a right mess! I used an eight-step process on one of the threads on this forum and got completley lost.
Firstly, I don't really know what I'm doing, and have no idea what a 'radio', 'rom', etc is. In fact, in reading these forums I realise how out of my depth I am.
Would somebody be able to help me out. Not necesarily with unlocking, but just getting the unit back to working order - i.e. so the cameras work, the sound works, the screen responds to my taps, the wireless card works, etc...
Please remember I know nothing about these machines, so you will need to use VERY simple explanation!!
