[ROM1.66 Dutch] Sms problem

Hey guys,
Despite the fact that I have installed this latest rom (1.66), I'm still having the sms problem. They dont get stuck or anything, they just never arrive, and this happens alot, which is really frustrating.
Since no one is still complaining about it, I'm wondering if the problem only hasn't been fixed in the dutch release of this rom.
I did notice, theres also a minor sms update, which says its for 1.66 and lower. But this update has been released before the rom was released.
I'm not sure if this will fix my problem, and since it can't be uninstalled, I'd like to know your experiences with this.
Thanks
Bump, anyone? This bug is annoying the hell out of me.

Not saying that it isn't the device, but have you tried another phone to see if they arrive on that?
I had similar issues with my old Nokia E90, and it turned out to be a network issue (they had to remove a corrupt message from the server)

Yes, I have tried my old Nokia N95 also, which went well. Messages just sometimes do, and sometimes dont arrive. Resetting doesn't change anything, neither does it make not-yet-sent messages, be sent.
Steef have you solved your issue already?I had this issue on rom 1.48 dutch as well, after x applying the htc fix it happens rarely now.very annoying that htc does not seem to be able to fix this issue.
since my sent sms would be sent if I soft reset my device if the problem appears, I guess your problem may be of different cause. I have read that a hard reset fixes the problem for some people.
I would like to know when and how you fix your issue...

Wifi problem since ics update

I'm running my A500 completely stock. Since the ics update, the tablet won't auto-connect to my Wifi when I start it up. I've tried forgetting and re- establishing the connection and that failed to fix it? Anyone else with the same problem or best a solution? It's not a huge deal but certainly annoying. Thanks ahead of time.

Have you tried a factory reset? Some have reported that fixed the problem for them. Back u your data first tho.
Is your wifi problem all over or a specific area?
Ever since the update if i'm not right next to my router i won't get more then 2 bars many people have reported diff problems w/wifi since the update i tried a reset and it didn't fix anything for me but idk it might help you out
There's a post in the Q&A section about this problem, I also experienced a similar problem, it is hard to tell or proof giving we can't easily toggle between two different builds, but I do have trouble on the wifi now, where I was using it fine before.

I had exactly the same problem when I updated this morning (UK Midlands), no wifi connection and a boot loop.
Reset didn't work but full factory reset did. Now connects with no problem at all.
Unfortunately I forgot that I would lose all my bookmarks 'Doh!'
Never mind, got a shiny new tablet (or it feels like it anyway ;-) )

[Q] Signal error

Hi guys,
I have a samsung focus since 5 months now. At times it randomly shows no network signal. During this time I cannot make calls and no one can contact me. When I power off and restart I get full signal and the phone works absolutely fine.
Any ideas as to what could be causing this? Also has anyone faced a similar situation?
I had a similar problem but it was all the time a factory reset solved it for me I didn't like it but what could I do

I think the 4.2.1 Update Broke My Phone

For an update that was supposedly only for fixing the missing December bug, I seem to have a lot of problems because of it.
First and foremost is a weird lag when turning on the screen. You can tell its on but it will remain blank for a few moments before anything shows unlike before where it was basically instantaneous.
Second and most annoying is a weird duplicate message thing with my SMS. I keep getting random duplicate messages from SMS' that I've received after the update. They come anywhere from 2 to 20 minutes apart. Also the lockscreen widget for messages only occasionally shows updates.
Last and could just be because it is a newer version, is that light flow stopped working.
Has anyone had any problems with the 4.2.1 update?
More importantly, what can I do about it?
Ota just showed up on mine i think iam gonna hold off for now till light flow is back on thx for the head up

I updated and have yet to run into any issues.
Sounds like your having a wake lock issue if the screen is staying blank when you power on your phone.
That's interesting, I also have the duplicate message issue with Voice through the native Messaging app. I assumed it was something else.

Try a factory reset and see if that fixes it

Yeah that sounds about right. I really don't understand where these issues are coming from. The phone worked perfectly before it.
The update fixed a few bugs, not just the December issue. I have updated my nexus 7 and my nexus 4 and I am not seeing any duplicate messages or any other problems either.
Perhaps this is because of another app.. I don't even think they updated the messenger at all from 4.2 to 4.2.1.

The only thing that has changed is the update to 4.2.1. I don't see how anything else could be the cause.
My phone is still stock, no custom rom, but it is rooted. I flashed a custom recovery and other than that haven't done anything to the phone that isn't official.
Okay, I thought the issues had tapered off. For what reason I have no idea, but I have no idea why they showed up anyways so it evens out.
But the duplicate message thing started up again.
If the 4.2.1 update is not to blame, what could cause repeat messages being received? If it is somehow the update, what could cause repeat messages being received?
Try a factory reset. Its always good to factory reset after updates no matter what. Find an app to save your data first.

Yeah my N4 was rock solid before 4.2.1..no reboots, glitches, bugs! Well now after 4.2.1 I've had several random reboots (one where I had to force it into the bootloader for it to start up) and this morning I had a weird graphical glitch where when rebooting the Google logo got stuck on the screen with some weird bands. It was like the google splash screen got stuck. I had to shut the screen off and turn it on and then it was fine.
I think I'm going to give a factory restore a try soon.
Year just factory reset. Its a habit for me because of the gs2. Always good to start fresh.

Is there a way to go back to 4.2? Not the 4.2.1?
I can't call anymore after updating to 4.2.1... there is no sound on outgoing calls. I can receive incoming calls however.

Notifications not working for official eBay app

anybody else having trouble not getting ANY notifications? Is there anything else I can do other than:
reinstalling the app numerous times
logging in/out numerous times
checking/unchecking each notification setting in the app numerous times
I have to manually check to see if I sell anything or get a message.
thanks!!
I've tried everything, un install, reinstall, clear data, turn off notifications, turn them back on, nada.
ATT Galaxy S3 with CM10 stable
I think its a 4.2.1 issue. I was on AOKP on my GS3 and it didn't work, now i'm on my Nexus 4 and it still isn't working.
Interesting. I conduct business on ebay so ebay notifications are a must. A few times it gave me problems but nothing an uninstall was sure to fix

I can confirm this, unfortunately. Maybe just one of the handful of things not working with 4.2.1
