Hi all.
I tryed to upgrade my 6815 to WM6.5. During the flash process it got stucked in the midle. The screen got all black and it does not do anything. I think the bootloader is dead.
I tryed to charge it. The red light is working, so it's charging. But the phone is dead.
Can anyone help me?

if it is charging and u have orange light pull up batery for half an hour, hold the soft 1 and soft 2 buttons and insert batery holding them. don,t leg go of the buttons... see what happends. it should go in bl an the flash a custom ron or smth. if bl is dead go here

The light is not orange, ir red when I plug it to power..
I will try the first option you give me.. the second one is not for me, I'm not so advanced.. heheh

Dear all,
My O2 Mini is dead after the power when off during the course of recovering the data.
The screen is not lighted up although the phone is on. The only thing that is visible is "Serial" on the top and "Ver 1.0" at below of the screen. Tried everything but was not able to reflash my ROM and bring my phone back to life again.
Can any expert help me with this?
Please advise.

Did you try taking the battery out for several seconds to get it out of that mode?
That means your bootloader works then your fone aint dead, try doing this ...

thnx for the help.. i did follow the steps mentioned.. but it styll doesnt wrk. whn i try to flash the rom.. it supposedly looses connection wid the computer .. the screen looses the light buh the wizard is on all the way.. u cant use it though.. buh the lights are still blinkin.. (the wifi and phone)

hey, my mda doesnt even turn on anymore, do u guys think its the battery but the battery was fine when i flashed it but then it doesnt boot to the window, so i took the battery out and put it back in and it doesnt turn on anymore.. i tried the camera, rest button and other stuffs. do u think my phone is bricked? or i should def. get a new battery and try it out?
I suggest you back to your Official rom first then start over again. I do this many times. Activesync always loose its connection before start flashing. It's a normal procedure. When you mention that your Wizard is still up and on the way, what you mean exatcly? Be more specific bringing point details on where you are stuck for instance. Then I'll try to help you out.

Sounds a power problem to me. I've been into this couple of times after being in a bootloader mode for a long time. Plug the Wizard directly into the powerwall to start charging then back to your flashing process first doing with an official rom. I don't think you have bricked it.

Try to enter in a bootloader mode by hold on the camera button while pressing the reset button. You'll go to bootloader. If not, remove battery one more time, wait seconds and put it in back. Then, force bootloader again and try to charge through powerwall. You should get an orange light or similar during recharging. Check your model. Hope it helps you this time.

which version is it ,G3 or G4,and which Rom were trying to upgrade with.
Well,if its a G3 then,there's some power problem,but if it's a G4 and you tried to flash a Rom with IPL/SPL included,well its a brick.
Yeah...unfortunately zabardast_1 is right about your device. If it is a G4 and you flashed a G3 ROM, you could have bricked your techtoy! Hope you knew what you was doing at that time!

htc 3400 is fully dead after flashing .it think its downgraded.not able to put in bootloader mode also.whn press power on button only keypad light blinks a sec.aftr tht no responce.plz help

Press both soft keys and reset your device, this will get you to bootloader mode.
There is a thread here named "how i bricked my device..." or something like that.

Press both softkeys and soft reset, you will get tricolor screen.
BTW should have read the thread BEFORE flashing

My htc gene is bricked.I have tried all the methods. I am unable to recover using Orefkov's method. When I try to press power key or soft reset button , onlr red and green light blinks. Nothing else happens. no charging indecator when i connect it to wall charger. I am even not getting the tri color screen.
please help me. to at least get into bootloader.

don't panic
to enter boot loader just on device
press and hold camera button and press soft reset button .

remove battery and then hold power button for 20 seconds (this will remove stored power from device )
then insert battery
press and hold camera button then press power to bootloader
hope this will work

i was updating this rom "RUU_Gene_hTC_Asia_India_1.17.720.1_4.1.13.34_02.79.90_Ship" after 100% complete it turns off , but not start only Green and red light flash during press reset button...
i was try all methods,#remove batery 20 sec and then start with camer button & both camera and voice button. but result is same...
#No indication during Charging.,no usb detected in PC.

I have a HTC P3400i GENE100. I successfully installed orefkov SPL and then upgraded my original ROM WM 6.0 to cooked wm 6.5. After installation my device was too slow than before hence I flashed it with RUU_Gene_hTC_Asia_India_1.17.720.1_4.1.13.34_02.79 .90_Ship.exe. After flashing it 100 % my New Gene restarted, but didnt boot to booting screen. Its not going into bootloader mode also. It shows blank screen i.e. black. I tried several combinations of keys (Camera + Power button or Camera + Reset or by pressing both "-" button + Reset) for going it to bootloader mode. But none of them working. When I plug in charger the green & red light blinks once and nothing else. Same if I press reset with stylus, the green & red light blinks once and nothing else happens. I know that I have bricked my New Gene, when I flashed the ROM, which was meant for Old Gene, which I came to know after reading the posts in this forum. I have to use JTAG Method for recovering my Gene. Hence I have read many posts about it in this forum. But can any one of the great masters here, help me with a proper guide that can help me recover my Gene 100%.

I got my HTC P-3400i New Gene back to life. It works better too. Sumeet is the man, who has given life to my entirely dead gene. I thank to him and suggest needy to contact him in their cases.

So a friend have a problem with a ROM, and i decides to flash rom radio and with an other ROM and when i'm flashing HD2 freezing and lock at 53%, i trying to flash with any others Roms and i have a big problem, hd2 no reboot,, and no reboot in bootloader mode too after :S
i trying the Hard Reset manual and nothing !!

if you can't get into bootloader then it is probably dead.
So volume down while pressing the reset key doesn't do anything?
If you plug it into a charger does the red led come on?
What version hd2 is it?

i can't make it in bootloader even if i press volum down button and press the end key, he does nothing :s but he return in bootloader mode one time / 50 ...
when he connect to a source i don't see the red led for charging batterie :s
and i don't know what is this model, it's an HD2
And the last time i boot it, it's written Software uptade fail, try again with a /!\
If its a US T-Mobile one (has T-Mobile at the top and green & red buttons at the bottom) then its most likely that the radio he has flashed to it is the wrong one.
If this is the case, then there is no fix.
Otherwise, its best to see if you can send it back for repair
