htc 3400 is fully dead after flashing .it think its downgraded.not able to put in bootloader mode also.whn press power on button only keypad light blinks a sec.aftr tht no responce.plz help

Press both soft keys and reset your device, this will get you to bootloader mode.
There is a thread here named "how i bricked my device..." or something like that.

Press both softkeys and soft reset, you will get tricolor screen.
BTW should have read the thread BEFORE flashing

i was updating this rom "RUU_Gene_hTC_Asia_India_1.17.720.1_4.1.13.34_02.79.90_Ship" after 100% complete it turns off , but not start only Green and red light flash during press reset button...
i was try all methods,#remove batery 20 sec and then start with camer button & both camera and voice button. but result is same...
#No indication during Charging.,no usb, MTTY detected in PC.

while updating my ROM of HTC P3400, i have bricked it. Now when i press any button on the phone nothing happens. Only red and green light flashes once and nothing else happens. No bootloader mode (tri color). No battery charging indication nothing. Phone is compeletely dead. I have some ROM images and set of tools (mentioned on this site) available with me. Please help me recovering my cell phone. let me know some links etc or any other means of getting my cell phone back.

if u tried olip's method n ur mobile is not working.this indicates u hav new gene.proceed from step no.4 from here
i am not able to come in Boot loader mode as well. When i press cmaera key with power on key...nothing happens. Battery is also not out. i have tried my phone's battery successfully in frn'z cell.
Power on your device. When the leds blinks hold camera button and reset the device. That way you should go to bootloader mode and flash another rom.
When I have that problem I solve this way.

Right click on the Activesync icon and deactivate USB Connection. Wait for the device to be recognized, if it is not being recoginized, change the cable.

You can install any ROM you feel like, the choice is yours - just make sure that it says that it is for "New Gene"
PPL, I've tried all of it.. hold the camera key and reset/power on etc but my p3400 denies to boot. only answer n disconnect key blinks while trying to reset.
while trying to press the power on key nothing happens,,, no led blinks at all....
pls help...

Hi all.
I tryed to upgrade my 6815 to WM6.5. During the flash process it got stucked in the midle. The screen got all black and it does not do anything. I think the bootloader is dead.
I tryed to charge it. The red light is working, so it's charging. But the phone is dead.
Can anyone help me?

if it is charging and u have orange light pull up batery for half an hour, hold the soft 1 and soft 2 buttons and insert batery holding them. don,t leg go of the buttons... see what happends. it should go in bl an the flash a custom ron or smth. if bl is dead go here

don't panic
to enter boot loader just on device
press and hold camera button and press soft reset button .

remove battery and then hold power button for 20 seconds (this will remove stored power from device )
then insert battery
press and hold camera button then press power to bootloader

I have a HTC P3400i GENE100. I successfully installed orefkov SPL and then upgraded my original ROM WM 6.0 to cooked wm 6.5. After installation my device was too slow than before hence I flashed it with RUU_Gene_hTC_Asia_India_1.17.720.1_4.1.13.34_02.79 .90_Ship.exe. After flashing it 100 % my New Gene restarted, but didnt boot to booting screen. Its not going into bootloader mode also. It shows blank screen i.e. black. I tried several combinations of keys (Camera + Power button or Camera + Reset or by pressing both "-" button + Reset) for going it to bootloader mode. But none of them working. When I plug in charger the green & red light blinks once and nothing else. Same if I press reset with stylus, the green & red light blinks once and nothing else happens. I know that I have bricked my New Gene, when I flashed the ROM, which was meant for Old Gene, which I came to know after reading the posts in this forum. I have to use JTAG Method for recovering my Gene. Hence I have read many posts about it in this forum. But can any one of the great masters here, help me with a proper guide that can help me recover my Gene 100%.

So a friend have a problem with a ROM, and i decides to flash rom radio and with an other ROM and when i'm flashing HD2 freezing and lock at 53%, i trying to flash with any others Roms and i have a big problem, hd2 no reboot,, and no reboot in bootloader mode too after :S

if you can't get into bootloader then it is probably dead.
So volume down while pressing the reset key doesn't do anything?
If you plug it into a charger does the red led come on?
What version hd2 is it?

i can't make it in bootloader even if i press volum down button and press the end key, he does nothing :s but he return in bootloader mode one time / 50 ...
when he connect to a source i don't see the red led for charging batterie :s
and i don't know what is this model, it's an HD2
And the last time i boot it, it's written Software uptade fail, try again with a /!\
If its a US T-Mobile one (has T-Mobile at the top and green & red buttons at the bottom) then its most likely that the radio he has flashed to it is the wrong one.
If this is the case, then there is no fix.
Otherwise, its best to see if you can send it back for repair
