Hi guys,
I tried to upgrade my Dopod C800 with Official WM6 ROM for HTC P4350(HTC_P4350_WWE_4.17.405.2_4.1.13.44_02.94.90_Ship.exe)
But i get ** invalid vendor Id error*** and stops upgrading.
My dopod C800 details is
SPL 1.09.0001
IPL 1.09.0001
ROM 1.7.707.3 WWE
ROM Date 11/01/06
Radio 2.69.90
protocol 4.1.13.30
Ext rom 1.7.707.106
OS 1.7.0.0
Pls help me to upgrade my dopod C800.

This is because the Dopod acutally never released a WM6 for your device. I too own a Dopod C800.
See this thread. This will upgrade your device to WM6 and will also make it hard SPL. After that you can(if you wish), upgrade to the cooked ROMs around too
And hey! do follow the instructions carefully

You had a working phone after flashing HardSPL on a phone with:
SPL 1.09.0001
IPL 1.09.0001
???

Method 1)
1) Use HERALD-USPL-beta3.zip or Hard-SPL-Herald.zip --which one i have to sellect?
and then flash with
2)
HTC_P4350_WWE_4.17.405.2_4.1.13.44_02.94.90_ Ship.exe
or
Method 2)
1) Use HardSpl_WM6.rar or herald_wm6.rar
2) do i need to flash with officila HTC ROM or the above will contain WM6?

Yes, it acutally got upgraded to..

and surprised GPS do not WORK ! and y have applyed the kulbutor patch and reseted the phone problem is persist!

I have a franch spv m650 and I did use serveral cooked ROM.
Please remember that flashing twice is better. (you can start a reflash as soon as your activesynch says the device is connected again... during screen calibration)
After each flashing my GPS did not work, but after aplying the 2 CAB you find in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=398736 everything worked fine.

You need original official ROM to overcome the boot screen.
Do you have it?

Read the Upgrade Guide again and look for the Recovery Steps follow that and your problem will be Fixed it worked for me if you cant find the files you need NO_Vendor WM 5 Rom let me know al upload and post the link here for you ok

My Artemis just stopped booting.
All I see is the T-monile start screen.
I tried a softreset as well as a hard reset. nothing helped.
I can just enter the Bootloader.
CID is not unlocked yet.
g_cKeyCardSecurityLevel = FF
Is there a possibility to do this from bootloader and start a ROM update from Bootloader menu?
Original ROM is Austrian T-Mobile.

hello everyone ....i want to upgrade my o2 orbit wm6 to wm 6.1 or any cooked rom currently i am using wm6 but the problem is my active syncro is not working is there any other to start uspl without acive syncro.....give some suggestions ...thank for ur time...
