Artemis SPL 1.12.000 downgrade and update?

I have HTC p3300 and bootloader is 1.12.000 and WM5 is Russian but i am not Russian, i need English. How can i downgrade and update?

Just Unlock and update to WWE version of ROM..

i have HTC ARTEMIS P3300, camera is not working, when i open the camera it show the message of "unable to initialize the camera and camera device is not setup"
i find many tools but they cant detect spl and say the spl is corrupted.
how i upgrade or downgrade my spl ?please help me
one thing is that i update new rom 6.5 but same msg is displayed
my ipl is 1.12.0001 and spl is 1.12.0000

I tried that procedure but still camera is not working than I install rom6.5 in my artims and now camera is not even giving the error nothing happens. I tried to read my IPL SPL Rom and I got that its unable to read SPL Rom is it possible that it has some error in SPL Rom? If yes than refer me where from I can download and how to solve the Problem?

what version of HTC Camera on your device ??

DOPOD C800 WM6 Upgrade Problem--help me

Hi guys,
I tried to upgrade my Dopod C800 with Official WM6 ROM for HTC P4350(HTC_P4350_WWE_4.17.405.2_4.1.13.44_02.94.90_Ship.exe)
But i get ** invalid vendor Id error*** and stops upgrading.
My dopod C800 details is
SPL 1.09.0001
IPL 1.09.0001
ROM 1.7.707.3 WWE
ROM Date 11/01/06
Radio 2.69.90
protocol 4.1.13.30
Ext rom 1.7.707.106
OS 1.7.0.0
Pls help me to upgrade my dopod C800.

This is because the Dopod acutally never released a WM6 for your device. I too own a Dopod C800.
See this thread. This will upgrade your device to WM6 and will also make it hard SPL. After that you can(if you wish), upgrade to the cooked ROMs around too
And hey! do follow the instructions carefully

You had a working phone after flashing HardSPL on a phone with:
SPL 1.09.0001
IPL 1.09.0001
???

Method 1)
1) Use HERALD-USPL-beta3.zip or Hard-SPL-Herald.zip --which one i have to sellect?
and then flash with
2)
HTC_P4350_WWE_4.17.405.2_4.1.13.44_02.94.90_ Ship.exe
or
Method 2)
1) Use HardSpl_WM6.rar or herald_wm6.rar
2) do i need to flash with officila HTC ROM or the above will contain WM6?

Russian to English from os5 to os6 ~plz help~

Hi friends,
bought a lovely HTC Herald in ukraine with russian OS 5
i wanted to change language for Russian to English
so i download HTC_P4350_WWE_4.17.405.2_4.1.13.44_02.94.90_Ship.exe
in order to change to English version with os 6.
Unfortunately I get the message "INVALID VENDOR ID" and have to abort after 2% progress.
guys i have read lots of forums but i dont know how to change language form 0s5 to os6
do i need to upgrade 1st to os6 officially form htc web, and then change language by flashing with HTC_P4350_WWE_4.17.405.2_4.1.13.44_02.94.90_Ship.exe ?????
or i can dirctly flash form os5 to os6 and change language???

they say for hard-spl u need IPL 4.xxx and higher!!! (that is IMPORTANT)

After you do hardspl, you'll have ipl more than 4. You can check it by going into bootloader mode.

hey i was successful in changing language and also upgrading it to WM 6.1... thank to xda web forums... after reading well and going through all forums i was able to flash...
here is how i did it...
1st i upgrade it to WM6 in russian Official update...
the i hardspl with Aserg rom... if any one wants detail.. i can help to step by step... thankx every one on xda and special thankx to Aserg...

Compatible ROMs [URGENT]

Dear all,
I have a HTC Charmer (t-mobile, German) and I am trying to change the ROM to an english one. I already managed to unlock the phone with Lokiwiz 3.0a but I didn't have any success at all trying to get a WiMo 5 ROM. Does anyone know where can I get one? I found one in t-mobile website (uk) but when I'm installing it, it says "invalid vendor ID".
I read in other threads that Prophet ROM may work.

However, I'm not sure if it's true and I'm afraid of obtaining a cool brick as an outcome.

Next time just read and if you ask give more info. Which SPL and IPL do you have?
And to flash the English Aku3 to a German phone you need the NoID ruu. You can get it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=42657&d=1183226200
If your SPL is 2 or higher I would recommend you to use an English WM 6 6.1 or 6.5 instead as they can be found in Charmer Mobile 6 subforum.
Before you flash WM6 or higher please read how it works. (The CID unlock part of the one howto isn't needed to be done!!)

Hi!
You need 2.06 IPL,SPL to flash cooked ROMs.Downgrade is risky,I did it,but it needs some knowledge.
Before do anything with your Charmer,make a Goldcard,it can be useful!!!

[Q] NEED HELP FOR P3450 pls

Hi i'm sebastiano, can someone help me pls?
i've buyed an htc p3450 with windows 6 , but i don't know the id and other codes.
i only know theese: ipl 2.20.0002
spl 1.11.0000
this morning i tried to change original rom with onyx 5.6
i've made this things:
i've installed cert.spcs.cab and enablerapi.cab
after using ELF_USPL_2.26.0000 i made the procedure for charge rom
and all were ok.
after i used the new os and its worked good. i made an hard reset before using definitively it. but after 10 minutes the system didn't start yet.
It run the image of Tim Operator and shut down.
The boot loader work now. i tryed to reinstall the sistem, the procedure finish without problem but when the system try to initialize the new rom , display the tim logos and after shut down..
someone know what i do and why system not reboot?
i read that i need the original italian rom for retry all my operations..but i don't know hot to find the id of my precedent rom...
pls help me

yes it's surely elf because on the box the name is htc p3450/3452 Ita S
so elf isn't S i think is the xl model

now i'm going out, but if you can help me to know what is the problem, tomorrow we can meet again
i want to remove tim's brand and i will put in a good rom with large buttons

As far as I know xl is elfin, and if you flashed the wrong rom maybe that's why you got this problem. Anyway here's a link to a good friend who's probably more expert on Italian roms than me, Flaviopak, send him a pm http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=778494
