HTC flip clock? - Touch CDMA General

I love getting different widgets, but I'm not sure if they consume batter life. Also I use a QVGA as opposed to HVGA resolution, so is there a way I can modify the HTC flip clock widget for my screen? Any apks I get for it say failed to install on this phone.
Cheers, Dave

HTC home clock

Is there any way to make the Clock on the HTC home screen smaller, i like the clock but dont need it taking up over half of my screen.
I don't believe so. You might try Battery status if you want something smaller.
I remember this being a huge discussion a while back when I had my Apache. I don't know what the answer was though, but I have seen screen shots of a smaller clock.
i have a nice clock skin thats pretty small

Touch HD Clock - How to change?

I want to change the awful looking clock on the HD home screen.
I have tried using Grumps Manila Customizer - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=437420
This is not compatible with the HD as the screen is screwed.
Until this app is made compatible, or another one comes along
How do I change the Clock appearence manually?
I see plenty of Clocks are available in the Diamond Apps section, do these need to be re-sized in some way for the bigger HD screen?

i installed some from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=420887&highlight=bdiaClock.cab and no problems with the dimensions. In fact they looked better for me as I think the default clock is way too big.

VGA White Flip Clock Plug In For Today

Hi.
I'm a HTC Diamond owner who has found an HTC today plug in and able to use a version of HTC Home Customizer. I am looking for a White Flip Clock that is the same size as the one in my TFLO 3D screen, but want one as a today plug in, same size and possibly with seconds flipping if possible. I've tried Tempus12 and it's not really for me and searched high and low with only a little success.
BanzaiTwolfe at PPCGeeks has produced a today plug with a white flip clock for the Diamond, but I find the clock is a little small and just wonder if anyone has/can produce this type of clock for VGA. It's a pity the Diamond clock can't be added separately to a today screen, as I find touchflo 3d has it's limitations, unless I need to be schooled on it's usage, i.e. see all the stuff which can be normally added to the today screen.
It's a long shot, but I hopw someone can help.
Thanks in advance of any help.

[Live Wallpaper] AgendaLive for HTC Desire

Requirements
Android 2.1, HTC Sense Lock Screen (HTC Desire)
What it does
Agenda Live Wallpaper gives you an analogue clock behind your home screen and thus behind your lock screen.
Why?
Before I bought my HTC Desire I had a windows mobile phone with s2u2 (slide to unlock). This app presents an analogue clock along with some useful information like the next appointments. I really missed this clock on my android and the simplest way for me was to develop a live wallpaper. This is visible even when the device is locked. With the lock screen of the HTC Desire this now shows me the analogue clock without unlocking the device.
Can it be adopted to other devices?
Only if your device has a suitable lock screen. I do not alter the lock screen nor does the wallpaper need a rooted device. It should work on all resolution devices currently available. You can simply try it.
Future
I hope to integrate appointments in the future.
Battery Drain
Though this is a live wallpaper it should not drain your battery as much as the others do. In fact there should be virtually no difference to a static wallpaper.
Date Formats
At the moment it includes two date formats: German (EU), US. You can choose them in the settings. If you miss one, please tell me.
Screen Shot and Download
running nicely on moto droid, thanks...
it looks elegant against the plain black background
Nice app ,do you have in plan creating a digital version too?with weather maybe.
Best of luck ,I support you!
Interesting! I'll give it a try. Thx!

Droid X Widget

Hi,
I saw a video from Droid X were was shown the ability to resize widget’s,
i think that’s very cool.
Do you think It’s possible to port the widgets and the ability to resize for magic? or even the whole rom to magic since it seems very simple and very vanilla like?
Thanks....
If you use ADW launcher, you can do that
Resize
how do i resize the widgets with ADW.launcher? what widgets is possible to resize?
Thanks
This has nothing to do with developing roms.
I'm moving to General.
Resize
Sorry my mistake...

When you add a widget (it could be any widget) a popup will appear with the default dimensions and give you an option to change them. I guess it is "cool" but it purely practical terms it's kinda pointless.
-First if you stretch or shrink a widget without keeping it's aspect ratio it will look awful
-If you stretch a widget all the graphics will look horrid because they aren't are still at a lower resolution just stretch
-If you shrink a widget any text becomes unreadable, this isn't a problem on high resolution WVGA devices but it is on the Magic.
It's possible, but there's a reason it isn't officially supported.
how do u resize it?

Thats way i’ve liked what i saw in the video (sorry but i cant find it now) the example was the calendar, the widget change the organization it self. Its like HTC Calendar Widget, that have the grid, the bar and a event list, but there you can change just by resize, it’s not a simple stretch... if i find the video i’ll post it

Well then you're not resizing, just choosing a different widget in itself.
